Says he: “In order for it to work I need to sit with the closest relatives who would be the parents. Then I’d tune in and see what I can pick up. But I would always warn them that there’s a possibility nothing might happen.”

Do I interpret that right in that Gonçalo Amaral is saying the email with the allegation against a maid has been dismissed out of hand without being investigated? Maybe I am reading it wrong.
I like this bit:

So all those anti McCann leaks to the Portuguese press havent really happened, we’re just imagining them?

Cristovao also happens to be under investigation for the Cipriano alleged beating and possible frame-up.
I think “Olegario Sousa” (former PJ spokesman) jumped ship when he realised it was infested with rats and he didn’t want to be around when the shit eventually hits the fan.
Does it strike anyone else as odd that today we have the British police being accused of siding with the McCanns - from a Portuguese source - while yesterday we had the revelation that it was British police who came up with a theory of Madeline falling down the stairs and the McCanns covering up. That also was from Portuguese sources.
Anyone see the inconsistency? People accuse the McCanns of generating spin!
