Madeleine McCann: Amaral Policing, Secrets Out And EastEnders
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann.
DAILY EXPRESS front page: “MADELEINE: PORTUGUESE POLICE CHIEF IS SACKED AFTER AMAZING OUTBURST.”
Page 9: “Madeleine detective kicked off case after blasting British police” – Chief inspector Goncalo Amaral says: “The British police have only been working on what the McCann couple want them to and what suits them.”
Says Amaral: “The Ocean Club is in Praia da Luz, not in London…It won’t be an email, and an anonymous one at that, which will distract our line of investigation.”
Mr Amaral is making reference to the email sent to the official website of the Prince of Wales last week claming a vengeful nanny had abducted Madeleine.
Pages 30 and 31: “HAIR-RAISING TRUTH ABOUT THE PSYCHIC BARBER – During the day Gordon Smith cuts hair, at night he claims he communes with the spirits. So does he really think he can help the McCanns find Madeleine?”
THE WORLD’S GREATEST NEWSPAPER confirms that former EastEnders actress Michelle Collins is a “BELIEVER”.
DAILY MAIL page 7: “Off the case. Madeleine police chief demoted after amazing rant against McCanns and British detectives”
Say Amaral: “They [the English] have been investigating tip-offs and information created and worked upon by the McCanns”
DAILY STAR front page: “MADDIE: CHIEF COP SACKED.”
Page 10: “INSPECTOR CLUELESS GETS THE BOOT”
Page 11: “If Maddie IS dead she will tell me where he body is” – Says Gordon Smith
DAILY MIRROR front page: “Maddy copper is axed”
Page 7: “OFF THE CASE – Boozy cop is demoted after furious outburst against the McCanns”
THE SUN page 7: “MADDIE COP FIRED FOR McCANNS RANT – storm as bungler says family duped Brit police”
Comments Clarence Mitchell: “I can confirm that Kate and Gerry are aware of this development but we cannot comment”
THE GUARDIAN page 7: “Detective leading hunt for Madeleine sacked after blast at UK police” – Mr Amaral is 47. He has been demoted. He is 48 in the Sun. Such are the facts
Carols Pinto de Abreu, the McCanns’ Portuguese lawyer, says: “The McCanns cannot confess to something they did not do and cannot and should not lie to please the police”
THE INDEPENDENT page 8: “Detective leading Madeleine hunt dropped from case after outburst” – Amaral is being investigated over an alleged attack on the mother of a different missing girl. Read about that here
THE TIMES front page: “Detective in charge of McCann case sacked”
Page 9: “Madeleine detective sacked after outburst”
Alipio Ribeiro, Amaral’s boss, says: “The police should be discreet and keep quiet, but there is always someone who talks” – So much for those secrecy laws
DAILY TELEGRAPH page 15: “Madeleine inquiry chief sacked after attack on British police”
A “family friend” of the McCanns says: “What he [Mr Amaral] is saying is just plain wrong. Leicestershire Police are not doing anything on Kate and Gerry’s behalf. They are simply there for liaison. There is certainly no strategy to distract form the Portuguese investigation”
What investigation?

“Once the human and canine team members have completed the basics, its time to add variables such as those that will be encountered beyond the controlled training environment. Introduction of the potentially distracting odors of garbage, food, and deceased animals becomes part of the curriculum along with searches of areas where no “odors” have been placed. Initial and ongoing training must include these “proofing” exercises where the team is presented with search areas that contain animal carcasses as well as search areas that have neither dead animal nor human remains odors present. Preparation for real searches includes the realization that not all areas searched are going to yield human remains odors thereof. Thus, a successful training program constantly challenges both the human and the canine team members with reality based, learning experiences..”
I don’t think Eddie was confused by rotting meat and nappies.

254 Maura…..
And Maicen everyone here speaks from their own experience to a degree. This is why I believe that you have such a low opinion of the Mcs.

That was merely an example of how people close do not know a lot of things about their loved ones.it is not reflective of my entire life. How dare you presume to psychoanalyse my life or reasons.?
You are arrogant, as well ignorant.

Thanks, no, I am not going to search, I ake your word for it. But:
Is all abuse, sexual emotional, physical about control and power and if it is (here we go again) what drives the need?

329,
Paedo rings can and do involve children as young as small infants. Timothy cox had in his possesstion 75,000 indecent and explicit images on his computer and there was evidence that he had supplied more than 11,000 images to other site users. His site allowed for real time rapes to occur will others watched. This guy was seriously deranged and I pray he is kept in jail for life. If you want more info just google it. I really don’t want to talk any more about it because it makes me physically sick.

Hi Susannah. I don’t know about the minute’s silence. I suggested it yesterday a couple of times but you was the only person to respond. Today is the 5th month since Madeleine disappeared.
I don’t know why the press and team McCann make a song and dance about 50 days, 100 days, 150 days etc. What happened to 1 month, 2 months, 3 months etc?

312 I take it that was a freudian slip, about parents protecting their children, especially on this topic!

what’s that supposed to mean? thought better of you
October 3rd, 2007 at 1:31 pm
318 A random opportunistic attack is possible — but this still isn’t a “big paedophile ring”, as beloved by some posters.
Although I think accidental killing is much more likely, it is very hard to rule out the possibility that Madeleine (for example) got out of the flat and into the hands of someone very evil.
There is no evidence for or against it. Very hard to prove or disprove, unless the body is found.

I only know because we watched a video as part of my child care course.
( child protection)
It had normal looking men defending themselves, not for the faint hearted

I see the McCanns spookyperson cross eyed clarence,is advising the PJ to refocus on the search for Madeleine, how very quaint. He did not say if it was a living Madeleine or otherwise, one thing puzzlesme, the PJ have stated more than once that Madeleine is dead, also I believe the British police with their death on the stairs theory.Amaral has been promoted not busted to inspector,as sky makeitupnews claimed,so does cross eyed spinning top clarence think that the PJ will volte’ face and now start looking for a living Madeleine, the guy is a class a knob.

Will I have systematically avoided your posts because I found them rather boring and reptitive with no accord for debate or manners.
You change and twist things ie. you have somehow managed to twist my condemnation for a represetative of an organisation to be a condemnation of the organisation itself.
You are repeatedly foul mouthed and insufferable - so please stop and try to act grown up.

This applies as much to yourself as those you constantly insult Please stop it now.

Please do not attempt to look for answers to your question on the internet as you could end up in serious trouble!!!!
The above is very serious.
Sexual abuse of anyone of any age is most usually not about the sex act but about power!

OK here we go with an astonishing piece of ignorance. Can anyone enlighten me on the activities of paedophiles with respect to VERY YOUNG children, i.e. virtually toddlers. Are they seriously attracted to toddlers? is this a preferred group? Sorry about this greeness, perhaps it disqualifies me from making any comments at all!

299. Sunny 289 - if there’s a big paedophile ring in portugal now re-opened (???), why would they go and look for children in a relatively empty tourist resort in a small town of the algarve ? easier in a city like lisbon, porto etc.
Give me one example of a paedo that broke into a flat to abduct a child and then walked away with that child (as the egg-face theory of the McCanns friends suggests)/
sorry - paedophile ring theory - of all the theories that I heard in this forum is the least likely (in my opinion).
Even assuming that she was abducted, I just can’t believe on the paedo link.
************************************************************
Why would they go looking for a child in a small resort rather than a city? Because there are less people around & therefore less witnesses!
I could give you various examples of paedos breaking into a flat & abducting a child: the most recent one being the case in NE England where a man broke into a house & pinched a child from a bath while her mother was in the next room.
If you are having difficulty coming to terms with the fact that paedophile rings exist - you need to do some research & grow up a bit.
The most recent British ring that was broken - (linked to the Son of God website) - freed 30 children.
In recent years Sarah Payne was abducted from a field where she was playing with her siblings. Sophia Hook was abducted from a tent where she was sleeping the night.
The Dutroux case in Belgium also shows these rings do indeed exist, even if you would prefer they didn’t.

It would be interesting to know whether Mayra had posted on this forum before under different name. Her postings remind me of some other comments previous days. If I were from Mccann’s team, for example, I would have tried to influence this forum by writing long statements about Mccann’s innocence and offending other users.
Yes, it is unthinkable that a parent could harm theiy own child. But it does happen, sadly. That Mccanns did do it is no more unthinkable than any other
manslaughter by parents.

You are extremely rude and kindly stop insulting everyone who poses a question, or disagrees with you.
It is totally unnecessary to be so vulgar

299, Sherlock
There was the case of Polly Klass in America who was having a slumber party with 3 other friends in her home and when she opened her bedroom door a man was standing there with a knife in his hand. He abducted her and eventually killed her.
There was also a case in Britain 2-3 years ago of a man who walked into a house and took small child from her bath, he raped her twice and the police found the girl left shivering cold in an alleyway nearby.
I am sure there are many other case around the world.
Paedophiles hang out at places where they know there will be children. For example parks, stadiums, sports clubs, toy stores, family-friendly resorts etc.. Do you get my point.

“Please do - rotting meat will not confuse a cadaver dog”
I mentioned this to my wife - she did four years of medicine - and she thinks that a piece of meat, particularly some cut with skin on it, would give off decay products indistinguishable from those from a dead body. A dead body is just a big piece of dead meat.
Judge Dread also gave some very good anecdotes on yesterdays thread indicating dogs do react to other things than what they are trained for and are not infallible, the handlers become very attached to the dogs and protect their reputations much as a parent would that of their child.

303 - How can any sane person honestly put forward a theory that says a dog (any dog - never mind a highly trained one) would be unable to tell the difference between the smell of a dead body and some rotten fruit, nappies and food… Talk about camp McCann being desperate!

The Real Stig, Joe, Krissie, Chloe, and Murder
I’ve only just started my day, here in the US, and now finished reading the balance of comments from yesterday’s forum and have taken the time to respond to posts of yours, on the end of that same page (see comments 1198 through 1202 of mine to find the post addressed to you).
I have to get my daughter ready for school this morning but I’ll be back to today’s (and yesterday’s) forum to catch up later.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to dump a child’s body in one of these bins in pdl and it being collected unnoticed?
That would appear a relatively easy thing to do - get the body in a rubbish bag, and depose of it in one of the big bins around pdl.
why the traces in the car? because it would safer to dispose of the body somewhere away from the resort, just in case it would be found, they could always claim that it was the abductor that disposed of the body.
the question remains, where have they kept the body since she disappeared until they rented the car?
anyway - just a theory.

289. Totally agree Sunny about Amaral, Sunny, I’ve said the same.
A police officer in the UK who has been *charged* with the offences & awaiting heraring would have been suspended from duty, certainly not working on a high-profile & similar case.
