Your post is a complete jumble.
The police involved in the Stephen Lawrence case were investigated *after* the case not before it. By the Brazilian chap I assume you are refering to Menendes - who was mistaken for an Islamic terrorist & shot. Again the police involved in that were investigated afterwards not before, and the inquiry is still ongoing. Equally. the policemen investigated for kiddie porn was *after* the Holly & Jessica case.
In none of those cases were the police involved *already* charged with an offence & awaiting court: Amaral has already been investigated & *charged* in relation to the Cipriano case, and is awaiting a criminal hearing.

I have never lost sight of that tragedy Stevo, no need to be so sanctimonious and rub my face in it as if I was not aware or had forgotten.
You could say the same for every tragedy where parents took a risk and their children came to harm. They are all awful. Why is this worse? Why do you in particular demand a pound of flesh over and above that already lost?

To answer your question “why is this worse?” It is worse for several reasons:
1. Leaving Madeleine alone was not an accidental mistake - it was a conscious decision repeated daily.
2. They left 3 kids alone - not just Madeleine.
3. The parents make stupid comparisons to cover up their actions: a) it is no different to being in the back garden at home, b) we were our own baby monitoring service.
4. They become arrogant when they were named as suspects - something they should accept is normal in an investigation like this.
5. If they are comfortable leaving toddlers alone then who knows what other bad parenting skills they display at other times.
6. They fail to answer questions and scamper back to Rothley the day after being named arguidos.
7. There is not a single video or photo out there showing the parents actually looking for their missing daughter.

They found her daughter’s blood in her fridge! She didn’t report her missing for two days. She could not identify her attackers in a line up. Her brother confessed on tape. She probably got beat up in jail and is using the Madeleine publicity to cry wolf. Besides if PJ were going to beat her up I’m sure they would have gone with body punches.

who is talking about a huge paedo ring with regards to Madeleine? The Real Stig had asked of the paedo ring involving the orphanage was definitley closed or not.
There is way more likely hood that Madeleine was snatched by a opportunist paedophile as in the case of Sarah Payne and countless others then being accidenty killed by her parents who organise an extraodinary cover up and then launch a massive media campaign to find their missing daughter.
In my humble opinion there is no reason for the mccanns to cover up an accidental killing. They have already admitted to not being there, as they ate at the Tapas and checked only every half hour. Clearly that was a fact. There would be very little time to organise an extraordinary cover-up that could fool the police and the entire public. It would be a HUGE risk to take and then to have the ability to convince your friends to lie on your behalf and commit a criminal act that could strip your friend of their own children, career, reputation just to help out you out. Sorry I don’t buy it because I am sure we would all agree on this site that none of us would ever agree to something like that.
The massive risk of getting caught would warrant more and worse charges to be made against you than manslaughter and even if sedation was used.
Its my opinion of course.
