Ex-cop Danie Krugel has tracked the “forensic route” he believed her kidnapper took from her Madeleine’s Portuguese holiday apartment. It ends on the beach
Says Krugel: I spent four nights in July carrying out my searches. I’ve been able to trace where Madeleine was in the resort and have drawn a map which has been given to the police.
“I can’t reveal details as I don’t want to alert anyone who might try to disturb the scene. But I believe I’ve traced where she was taken that night and now it’s down to police to use their search experts to do the rest. The area to which my investigation led me is a difficult one to search”
Disturb the scene? The beach at a popular tourist destination made famous by the disappearance of a little girl? Yes, best not disturb that. And tell the wind and the tide to stop, too
A source “close” to the McCanns says: “The work of Mr Krugel should not be underestimated and gives great hope to Gerry and Kate. Many people have contacted the couple to try to help but while their hearts may be in the right place they just don’t have the expertise to be of assistance. But Mr Krugel has a proven record of finding people and his methods are extremely credible”

Judge Dread. Hoax abduction. Couple of silly questions,
But wouldn’t Madeleine - if she were returned/found somewhere - simply be able to describe who she was with and where she was these last months and thus lead any investigation back to any accomplices? If the McCanns could EVER be linked to such a hoax abduction they would face charges of perverting the course of justice, obtaining money under false pretenses etc.
And, where is she being kept? Must be under lock and key because her face is known everywhere by now. Could her parents really subject her to that knowingly.
Please let me have your views, because I am really interested in this theory which I had rejected based on the above. Thx.

So it was a set up abduction.
They believe she will be returned.
But what if in taking her she fought and was killed by alleged abductors?
How come Kate and Gerry are so confident that they will be found innocent despite the incriminating evidence.
Perhaps when George Wanker sorry Walker Bush finally pushes into Iran, Madeleine will be found.
Now that will be good timing.
Except what about the smell of death etc.
Can we put another item on the register - hoax abduction gone wrong.

I’m not Manon but I personally wouldn’t do a blog. I would, however, open a website for contact and definitely show the fund because I wouldn’t want to be accused of keeping the amount quiet. I’d want to give full details, aims, directors, amount etc.

2. Madeleine wandered off

Is the Daniel Krugel story actually a new story? I thought, possibly incorrectly, that this guy was on the scene going back a few months? Anyone have any links to that? My initial reaction was that this was something that happened around June timeframe?
Anyway – Presumably we should watch in the next few days for a source close to someone important to express dismay that that local Keystone Cops didn’t immediately commandeer all available buckets and spades and hotfoot it straight to this undisturbed beach location?

I think if I was emotionally detached form the child, for some reason (what reason?) I could play tennis etc., write a blog and do all that is required to “manage” the hunt. If I was emtoionally attached I could not. I would be out there looking myself at least 18 hours a day, on foot and by car. If I needed the campaign I’d ask someone else not involved to do it.

I think that Madeleine will be left in a European country other than the UK or Portugal, possibly Holland, in an area where she can’t come to danger and be watched while the police are called and find her.
I thought that it would have been done before now, but the hype and leaks have made that impossible so far. It would suspicious if she suddenly turned up at a key moment when a new leak was released.
I still believe, (and pray) she is safe and well with someone known to the McCanns. Part of my reasoning is the McCanns actions in getting the website up so quickly, and having started the fund, refused to expand the remit for charity status.

It is the only thing that could explain the ease and lack of suffering that Kate and Gerry are displaying.
So why would this hoax abduction take place?
Who benefits?
The smell of Death etc, is that all part of the hoax.
And surely if they were involved then it is a crime as great as the others that have been speculated upon.

Judge Dread. Your hoax abduction theory. Could go along with this. Fits in with my theory that they are definitely hiding something, not telling all they know.
But….where do they go from here? Surely it has gone on too long now. Would they not have been better off to have had a ‘miracle reappearance’ after the Vatican trip? Or do you think that whoever is keeping M. has upped the anti, or was it always the idea that she would never the returned?
Would love your theory - was my initial thinking from about Day 2!

Conspiracy Theory £1,041,697.60 (And that is just a ludicrous coincidence!)
Someone confessed to the priest in the early hours of the 4th May, such that the priest knows who, how, where, when and why. Priest had a holiday for a few days courtesy of the pontiff and his mates. Roman Catholic church now involved in global media campaign to ensure this case never comes to court because they need to protect the role of the Confessional. They are in a no win situation. Millions of people will hate them if they know what happened to Madeleine and don’t help the police. Billions of people will never trust them again if it transpires that what gets said in the Confessional doesn’t stay there.
I should probably add at this juncture that I heard a quote a little while ago in which someone described themselves as a “Recovering Roman Catholic” – A phrase with which I have some empathy!

Judge Dread. A poster on here a few days ago ‘Solaris’ was in the locality around the time M first went missing. He said that many local people actively went around searching. They had maps with areas that were coloured off as they were searched. But not the McCanns - well no mention of it in THE BLOG and not enough time between flights/tennis lessons.
If it were me, I would still be there - especially if the ‘Walrus with the laptop’ (Stig) has now indicated a hot-spot on the beach. No matter how improbable…..Would be on the next plane, bucket and spade at the ready……..

That assumes these are the only options… I haven’t given up completely on the idea that Madeleine was indeed abducted (despite the alleged absence of proof) and that all of the stuff about the Tapas 9 silence pact (allegedly) is to hide something(s) that are not in themselves directly related to Madeleine’s disappearance but which would, if made public, cause devastating embarrassment to someone(s).
