They are all wierd - there does not seem to be a consistant statement coming from anywhere - either the McClann, the Police in the Uk or the Police in Portugal - or the press all over the world. As far as the results of the dna are concerned - I could have obtained, analised and proved the identity of the wearer of the Turin Shroud quicker than this lot is taking.

DNA evidence is not the problem here. I think the police have the evidence and they have the results. The problem is a lack of a body. I pray to God that this little girls body is found soon because then the police, who I think have been under an awful lot of pressure from the McCanns would be in a much better position to put the jigsaw puzzle together and tie up loose ends. I hope they find it soon and this precious little girl can rest in peace, robbed of her life, not by any stranger but by the very people she loved and trusted, her mother and father who left her alone not once but on many occasions. Shame on you Kate McCann.

I feel disturbed by how long it takes for “DNA evidence” to be processed because I’ve heard that DNA evidence can be processed in as little as 24 to 48 hours in an urgent situation. This is what irks me…what does it take for a situation to be urgent enough to speed the DNA portion of the investigation up???? Isn’t a mising child urgent enough? Sheesh!!! It’s taking insanely long, which seems utterly stupid to me. Sorry, but this is an emotionally charged situation when an innocent child is at the mercy of God-knows-what and -whom.

I truly hope they didn’t do it….Because at this point there is no way either one of them would confess..And in the end, if it is discovered that they comitted the crime, It would be so difficult, they have made many people believe and support them. I honestly don’t know what to think anymore. They are almost convincing me they are innocent, but i still have some doubt in the back of my head. I think at this point, it would be difficult to find her body, and I have a feeling that G & K know that her body will never be found, Therefore, there may never be an answer. Hopefully, this new investigator working on the case, will have some answers to this tragic puzzle. He is supposedly top criminal investigator..We’ll see. Is there anyone here who still truly believes they are guilty?

In the Stephen Lawrence murder case the Police installed cameras in an electrical sockets in one of the accused persons flats as well as other forms of surveilance. If the McCann’s are doing or saying anything it will be seen and heard. This is the Worlds most publicised case, the motivations for closing it successfully will be huge.

You can be sure that the best technology will be used against them, especially after the brazen attitudes expressed by team McCann. When you dismiss everyone as being incompetent, lying, framing you, being ludicrous and stupid, without actually giving an accurate, coherent, consistent and satisfying account of what’s happened you are quite openly asking for it.

I look forward to the arrests

Not sure about that. Murat lives in Portugal so would know something about the PJ reputation. The McCanns were tourists without knowledge or experience of the local police.
