The police are obviously judging it solely on the statements of the parents which obviously suggest the McCanns apartment was the only one visited (or visited frequently). Its the only indicative ‘evidence’ they can possibly have surely.

Dianne Webster, Fiona Paynes mother- wonder what she thought about the goings on eating , drinking, quiz, children left every night, 2 of them her grandchildren. Aswell as the Paynes and info on them there is very little reported about her comings and goings apart from that she reportedly stayed at the Tapas bar when the alert was raised at 10.00pm 3rd May .

the theories for their want of intense publicity is so they can quickly gain celebrity status and also so their case can be tried in the public and last but not least their smoke and mirror subterfuge has more than likely detracted critical attention off of them - well for the first few months it worked.

If true, truly staggering. It doesn’t tell us what happened to Madeleine but proves the McCanns have been manipulating the truth to a stunning degree. It would also confirm something that Yankie Interloper said earlier that everything makes so little sense that “Clearly, some crucial facts are missing.”
On the other hand, it’s stretching credibility that no one else at the complex noticed all seven kids sleeping in the apartment. Or observed them being taken back to their original flats before KM sounded the alarm. So, I’d love to believe this is true because it would explain a great deal but I’m sceptical.
How many people were resident at the complex besides the Tapas 9?

I wonder if the families of K &G jumped in on the bandwagon after M went missing and went on about -well you have to keep her in the public, we need to start a webpage, we need to take donations and it snowballed from there - and they couldn’t refuse without looking guilty.

i think the point is that dna had been found in the appartment, that of the other children, which, i guess would be correct if they all went to the apartment at some point during the holiday, but they cannot surely pinpoint the fact that they were there on the night in question

m.e- only the Tapas 9 know who checked on the children and how often. To collaborate on this information would be beneficial to them all to some extent. Fair enough none of the other children came to any harm, distress and upset at being left alone I cannot comment, who knows?

Interesting theories. But what I don’t understand is why K+M have gone to so much trouble publicising M’s disappearance if, indeed, they know that she died in an accident. Wouldn’t it make more sense for them to keep a low profile and discourage the media from reporting it?

Thanks Matty. I didnt like the look of this case from early on and every time something new supposedly comes along (if true of course), my darkest suspicions are sadly reinforced.
So we’ve no confirmation if any of Payne’s children are boys/girls or ages. Strange. And Tanner and McCann pregnant at the same time were they?
Could someone tell us who was supposedly checking on the children that night. Did the men or women check or both?

Who said this today in “The Holy Grail”? Why, none other than Comical Clarrie, as others have named him (nickname Ludo ). So don’t count on him taking all his cues from Anorak and dropping the ‘ludicrous’ in favour of ‘contemptible’ or ‘risible’ (he probably doesn’t even understand what this means but it’s a very effective put-down word) ..or ‘rum’? No, as he’s only 48 but looks 68 he wouldn’t have come across this one. Anyway, he’s still onto the ‘ludicrous’ . Isn’t it a very BBC lefty word? so he would favour it.
The same article in todays “Holy Grail” stated, in relation to “ludicrous speculation” and the audacity of people to suggest that DNA evidence puts the royal couple in the frame: “Not least because such speculation shifts the focus away from the search for their daughter”….for which, read:Not least because such speculation refocuses the search for Madeleine onto my clients”.

Off track a bit but did anybody see the programme about missing children in China last night, I mentioned it on last nights post. Up to 70,000 children in China go missing each year. The resources these families have to find their children is ridiculous. Some go into lifetime debt to find a loved one through private detectives as the problem is so prolific .There is a lack of government support partly beacause the problem is so widespread and partly because of the goverments part in this problem due to the one child rule. One couple whos 5yrd old son was missing risked huge government fines just putting up missing posters of their son as it is against the law. 7mnths on the child still hadn’t been found and the emotion and distress of the mother was horrendous. She cryed saying I always wonder if it is cold outside will he be shivering, if he is hungry will he be fed.

Unfortunately, Chinese Children and parents are not very blonde, therefore their suffering is irrelevent.
It is a well known mass media fact that Blonde people feel physical and emotional pain at least 100 times more than swarthy types do.
It is also a well knwon media fact that swarthy-types are insanely jealous of the blonde ones, and try to steal them at every opportunity, from the indians of the Americas, to Gypsies in Europe to Morrocan Berber farmers in Africa.

Stories like the Chinese Children ones are like the ones they used to show abbout the girls in Afganistan that could not go to school. Award-winning photography while we wrung our hands and did NOTHING about it, because such stories are distractions to make us feel “lucky” to be who we are.
Funnilly enough, the Madeline Grief-porn story started out in a similar vein.
Nevertheless, as one of the evil swarthy-types that gets hassle as a “terrorist” slash international drug dealer type, even when out with my wife (Hello, we are the suicide-bombing couple, even though we aren’t even Muslim or Asian), I can’t help thinking that if the Chinese children were blonder, then they would be more easily found, and people woud care more.
Much like in the early days of the Search for Maddie circus I wondered how people would react if a dusky Portugese girl went missing in the UK.
Of course not, she wouldn’t be blonde enough.
One fact not reported over here in the early weeks and in response to the McCann/For. Office criticism of the police was that one of the first facts to come out from the efficient and blonde UK police liason was that the UK had allowed around 300 convicted Pedophiles to go to live in Portugal without telling them, of course. Yes, the UK export pedos to our EU partners and neglects to tell them.
I guess that none of the pedos were blonde, they probably had blacked out faces and talked in gruff accents, but it’s interesting how none of that was reported over here at the time either.
