Regardless of the newspapers’ tacking to the wind day by day, something is blowing Comical Clarrie’s mind:-
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT! He screams:

So the couple ( Mr. & Mrs. Gerrymander) have not been charged, they have nothing to hide (but they refuse to answer questions), they don’t know what the evidence is - YET, they are INNOCENT ‘cos Mitchell says so.
And their spokesman is getting - at least - £75,000 a year…for this utter twaddle.

Just idle musings here:
Madeleine may have drowned in the bathtub while the parents are getting ready for dinner. Maybe she was taking a bath and the other children were watching TV or something - or the parents forgot and left Maddie in the bath and went out.
“I thought you checked on her”….type of thing. “No, it was your turn……”
“Oh my God, what do we do now….?” After all they are doctors, so they wouldn’t need to call in a medic……..
Once a person is dead, what else can be done? No sense making it worse by going to prison……

i see what you’re getting at, but for one, i think you would know if it wasn’t your kid that did it, and then that set of parents would come forward.
another thing is they all seem so weasely, i dont think they’d care about the kids going through anything if it cleared their miserable skins.
i’m convinced something else is linking them, probably the sedatives.

carmen, i agree with your theory if there are older children in the group. so far it doesn’t look that way. according to reports fiona and david payne have been together for 7 years. although their two children’s ages have never been mentioned, i don’t feel they’d fall into the category of accidental killer.
