It’s funny…for all the criticism directed towards the PJ from McCann fans, everytime I see the PJ on telly, they are trampling through undergrowth, dusting fingerprints or doing other typical police work trying to find Madeleine.

I know. I said above that it’s not my preferred theory. I think she was dead earlier in the day. I was writing by exploring other theories. I agree - I think they’d grass each other up unless they all shared some common reason to keep it under wraps. That can only really point to something illicit like drugs. What else is there that is so explosive that you have to all share in the secret?

The Government is to make it a crime to incite hatred because of a person’s sexual orientation or perceived sexual orientation, Jack Straw announced last night. The offence will carry a maximum sentence of seven years.
Under the proposal it would be considered a crime to incite hatred against homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and heterosexual people. Mr Straw said: “It is a measure of how far we have come as a society in the past ten years that we are now appalled by hatred and invective directed at people on the basis of their sexuality. It is time for the law to recognise this.”

I agree that most abused kids are abused by someone close. I don’t think this is the case with Madeleine though. At least not that kind of abuse.
Drugs have been mentioned many times…cocaine, speed etc. I’d say if drugs are a factor then it’s more likely to be some other type of prescription medicine. Look at Kate on telly….she’s on some amazing anti-depressants - they’ve turned her into a zombie but if so, she’d not be as fit and able to run up hills etc. Think about it…
