715, 636 Were all the kids in the flat? I am only prepared to believe its a possibility if we can think of how and why M died in the flat, and why Tapas 7 all stuck together.
I think posters here have provided possible rationales, so the reports could be true.
I am beginning to think that if the McCann’s are involved the full explanation for what happened will be bizarre, and could certainly involve some or all of the children together with possibly drugs, misuse of drugs etc.. If only some of the Tapas 9 are involved I don’t think the others will be fully in the know. In fact i would doubt that they could ALL be involved because it would be too difficult to guarantee all sticking to one story.
You remember the prisoner’s dilemma game, where if they all stick together they can all win, but there is an incentive for each one to break their silence, and because each has that incentive (a reduced sentence) and necessarily all others serve longer sentences, then the reason someone will cooperate with the police is because they will BOTH receive a reduced sentence and AVOID harm caused by another traitor in the group. For this reason the 9 couldn’t be involved, the group would be too large and there are too many potential traitors. But the group could be small.
The alternative that there was a paedophile abduction is very straightforwardly imagined and is much easier to imagine. The evidence we know about leads us to try and think of alternative possible scenarios.
