My last “remembering” for tonight.
When K and GM got off the plane after leaving portugal this is what I noticed- you know certain things stick in the mind - will put them all together evenually.
But arrival in UK, on tarmac both with twin on shoulder. Gerry goes to move off. Kate reaches towards him as if to remind him that he has to say something - statement - he finds paper and read out statement.
Point is that after being the quiet one, she eventually gets more vocal then at crucial - running away - prods Gerry to announce written statement.
Coverage is out there but it might have been clipped by now. BUT it definitely happened because I’m a visual and aural learner and i don’t forget the things that stand out for me.
If you get me drift.

It is still lend and I don’t give a feck what the Americans have to say about the matter. I have not and will not take instruction on use of the English language via any reference to American usage.
You could just as well argue that the current use of ‘less’ in place of ‘fewer’ is perfectly legitimate given it’s present universal substitution but I know the difference and ‘less grapes’ is wrong and always will be until I am dead.
Same goes lend and loan.

that night.
He states that a band of travelling acrobats with morrocan lesbian childless gypsies visited the apartment upstairs
he witnessed a small child being carried out, toward the supermarket and then the seaside
he also saw the mc canns playing tennis and collecting kids from creche
he gave the eldest one a stone!!!!!!!!! A fucking big one!!!!!!!

When does that report date from please?
According to the Telegraph online, seven detectives have today again been “scouring” the apartment where Madeleine disappeared. Among them was Talvares Almeida, Amaral’s deputy, who asked for leave of absence, presumably because he’s charged with beating up a suspect. According to the paper they are trying to build up the case against the McCanns.
Seems he’s still on the case. Telegraph could be wrong. Papers are occasionally!
Does anyone know how old the other children in the group were? Was Madeleine the eldest? Were the other four boys or girls? (One was a very young baby I think? Was O’B’s child a girl?)
Away all day and evening for several days but I’ll look in late tomorrow. Sorry if the age question was answered earier. Haven’t had time to read many posts back.

Gerry seems to be forgetting that buying lunch and dinner for the British Press is a bit more expensive than buying a sandwich for one.
Justine’s expenses are more than reasonable if she was dining with reporters 7 days out of 7. Perhaps Gerry was expecting her to pay for the touchy-feely rub-elbows-with-the-press meals out of her own pocket.
Gerry, dahlink, relationships with British journalists don’t grow on trees, they have to be worked. And THAT takes time and (alas!) money.
That’s also why regular parents whose children go missing don’t hire PR people.
