Madeleine McCann: Ben Needham Is Missing, Operation Predator And Maddie’s Cops
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann.
DAILY EXPRESS front page: “McCanns warn: We’ll sue over claims we drugged our children”
Page 7: “Madeleine parents: We have never sedated our children” – The “slurs” are “outrageous” and “hurtful”.
The theory that they sedated all of their children is a “wild theory”. It appears in Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas, a source for “some of the more outlandish reporting”. The Express reproduces the outlandish reporting for its readers to digest and marvel at
“Grim hunt for images as child-porn ring is smashed” – Operation Predator is a clamp down on child porn in Portugal. A friend of the McCanns says: “This shows the scale of the problem in Portugal and appears to show that the Portuguese police seem to be looking in the right direction. It may provide vital leads”
But the raids were not directly connected with the Madeleine case. Operation Predator was six months in the planning
THE SUN front page: “Maddie: cop raid on pervs”
Page 7: “McCANNS’ DELIGHT AT PAEDO SWOOP” – Kate and Gerry McCann are “encouraged” that 300 Portuguese police “smashed” a 80-strong paedophile ring
“’FIND OUR KIDS TV’” – Kate and Gerry have backed a TV channel that features the 150,000 UK children that go missing each year. Pictures of missing children will be shown at GP surgeries, shopping malls and hospitals
Page 37: “MISSING BEN AGONY – We were too working class to get help like Maddie’s family” – The mother of Ben Needham, who disappeared 16 years ago on the Greek island of Kos – sees haves and have nots
“I was 19,” says Kerry Grist. “Just an ordinary girl from a council estate and people thought, ‘She will just go away in a few months, have another child and forget about it…I don’t think people thought Ben was important enough.” Or the media didn’t…
Kate McCann is a doctor. Gerry McCann is a heart specialist. Both Madeleine and Ben are blonde
DAILY MAIL page 5: “Huge porn swoop offers hope of a Maddie clue”
“Could Ben still be alive?” – Ben Needham disappeared from near his grandparents’ farm house
Says Mrs Grist, Ben’s mum: “Madeleine’s parents are middle class people with important jobs and seemed to have had a publicity machine behind them straight away”
DAILY MIRROR page 15: “WHY STAY IF SHE HAD SOMETHING TO HIDE?”
A pal of Kate McCann says: “She could not tear herself away [from Portugal]. What mother could leave the place where her daughter vanished? …If she had something to hide why would she hang around in Praia da Luz waiting for the police to come knocking on the door?”
We don’t know. Why?
DAILY STAR front page: “MADDIE POLICE ARREST 80 PAEDOS”
Madeleine McCann does not have her own police force – not yet. But the police working on one case are Portuguese, like the police in her case. It’s an “EXCLUSIVE”
Page 7: “MADDIE COPS RAID PAEDOS” – The Star sees Gerry McCann leaving his home in a car. “STRAIN” reads the caption
DAILY TELEGRAPH page 17: “Madeleine police turn spotlight back on paedophiles”
“Missing children TV hopes to jog patients’ memories” – Ben Needham is missing. Xiao Xiao is missing. Lee Thomas Wedge is missing. Leanna Petrenko is missing. Abigaile Sommerville is missing. Andrew Paul Gosden is missing
THE INDEPENDENT page 24: “Mother in plea to missing son” – Ben Needham is missing
THE TIMES page 11: “Madeleine police return to kidnap theory”
German and Dutch police are believed to have been asked to trace and interview guests staying at the Ocean Club when Madeleine went missing

There was a poster here a while ago - Miss Match - who obviously was a person with considerable medical knowledge. I asked her a question about sedation and her reply confirmed my position that it would be near incomprehensible that a doctor would use - or even NEED to use, anything stronger than an antihistamine containing preparation like cough mixture or motion sickness tablets.
The sedation overdose theory is nuttier than a fruitcake.
I am sure I could find her post if you are curious.

The bottom line is that Peter is right. The only thing we really know is that MM is missing. Apart from that the only facts we have are official police statements, filmed or taped interviews with the parents and Gerry’s blog.
So anything could have happened really.

Sorry…but aluminium is a technical word as it’s a chemical. Therefore the scientific community gets to name it - not the dictionary. A dictionary is only a list of words and their meanings. Words aren’t derived from the dictionary.

Peter O:
Kate McCann said she had a bath that night, from the start I believe. I haven’t heard the accident in the bath theory before, which is why I even brought it up. You’re right, we don’t really “know” anything, but if we want to wipe out everything we don’t know, then well, nothing the McCanns, the police, etc. has said can be taken at face value to support any theory (in favor of or against the McCanns). I should have reworded that differently, sorry. “It’s claimed she had a bath that night”, is what I should have said, sadly these pages move fast.

I don’t know Shantilly, I live off-and-on in the UK, and the English tend to prefer my American accent when the world “fuck” is involved. (that sounds sexual, but it isn’t, pure swearing)
LOL - OK Ms. Wanderer - I’ll take your word on this!

Don’t even bother with the aluminium thingie. Americans are rather challenged from the shoulders upwards…
Americans (i.e those on the American continent who come from the USA) cannot do more than 4 syllables. Hence “ium” in that word has to be shortened to “um” - as in dumb. They don’t do etymology either so do not realise that the “ium” bit of a word shows that it s a metal (as opposed to a non-metal). They do like killing people though…

And as to the complete disrespect I’ve been getting over my bloody tampon evidence found yesterday on the beach that I know, without a shadow of a doubt, belongs to K and is from the apartment, since when do the police justify their detective methods to bloggers? We are interested in all fluids that may be in the apartment now or once was in the apartment, and that includes anything and everything flushed down the toilet and the bath tub, and the real question yet to be answered is how did the tampon find its way to the beach six months later!
Once we answer these questions we will then investigate the fucking on this blog - and by the way, that mean no one has any fun in the meantime!

The problem with the timeline and testimony from the Tapas is that we really don’t know fact from fiction. I think there’s a case for human error and normal mistakes and I think there’s a case for people to have conflicting stories but to still be telling the truth. I based my theory taking all those issues into account.

Sorry, I’m being a pedant…. How do we “know”? As Krissie pointed out above the only real “fact” in the public domain is that Madeleine is missing. Everything else we are playing with in here is rumour and innuendo from a source close to someone else or something someone has deliberately put into the public domain because that what they want us to believe. Madeleine may have had a bath. We don’t actually know the truth of it.

So, 350 people requested to volunteer their DNA and fingerprints and yet no one saw or heard an abductor, a small child wandering about, an accident or anything else?
Still if they were all British they were probably either too pissed to notice anything or busy running back to their apartments to check that the children they’d left alone were ok.

no wonder the states dont need as many words in their dictionary if they all have aluminum frying pans.

No her dismissal isn’t mentioned in the article. I don’t see how that interview could be construed as a payback to Mark Warner.
If she is substantially lying in that interview she is a foll because the PJ might well want to talk to her about that.
There seems an incredible propensity for people to doubt her story and motives. I think it must be that what she says makes a lot of the various scenarios look weak.
The time honored tactic of trying to dodge inconvenient information by discrediting the reputation of it’s source, is well and truly in action.

I think all of the Tapas’s children were in the McCanns’ apartment the night Madeleine disappeared, but Obrien moved them before Kate McCann’s “they’ve-taken-her” act. I think someone in the hotel room saw all the children together, earlier in the evning, through an open door; and mentioned this to the police. The Tapas Nine then said Madeleine had been with only her brother and sister. The police wondered why the Tapas Nine would lie about an innocuous fact — leaving the lids alone was the neglectful thing; not keeping them in a room together — but the police kept it to themselves that they knew the Tapas Nine were lying about where the kids had been. Now that months have passed, the McCanns, and, presumably, the rest of the Tapas Nine, are bound to the kids-were-in-separate-rooms storeis…the police are springing it on the McCanns et al that they know they were lying about this, so…what else are they lying about?

Madeleine woke up in the apartment, perhaps she was sedated and drowsy and confused. Fell off the sofa and hurt herself. Fell again on the stairs.
Kate found her there, lifted her to her bed where Madeleine died.
I don’t believe my own theory for an instant. Nothing makes sense.

Because there’s no evidence of a hit and run is there?
There is evidence of blood on the steps and in the apartment.

I’m going to put a team of investigators on it pronto. Because we will not tolerate disrespect and certainly as soon as I find out where the off is in fuck, sort of like get it off, move off, get over it, or scram…..then we will see that that too is weeded out and exposed…..so future comments will at least be clear!
It’s okay to hate each other but please folks lets stop the fucking……that confuses me and the pink panther and I simply can’t take being confused!
