The theory that they sedated all of their children is a “wild theory”. It appears in Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas, a source for “some of the more outlandish reporting”. The Express reproduces the outlandish reporting for its readers to digest and marvel at
“Grim hunt for images as child-porn ring is smashed” – Operation Predator is a clamp down on child porn in Portugal. A friend of the McCanns says: “This shows the scale of the problem in Portugal and appears to show that the Portuguese police seem to be looking in the right direction. It may provide vital leads”
But the raids were not directly connected with the Madeleine case. Operation Predator was six months in the planning

I’ve always been troubled by an “accident” because there’s not really all that many accidents that can happen that are controversial enough and require cover-up. A simple fall could work. Irrespective of what an accident is or was, it relies on the parents feeling that such an accident was going to be very detrimental to them personally - enough to warrant them covering it up.
See, if you have the mentality to leave kids alone then wouldn’t you not be as bothered if you found your youngster after an accident? I don’t see how you can have a responsible caring attitude and want to leave them alone. The two are incompatible. So, if you did find your youngster dead or barely alive at the bottom of those steps, you wouldn’t be overcome with feelings of protection because it was your own actions that indirectly caused it.
It’s sort of like saying that if you gave your kid a Stanley knife to play with and then you found them with cuts all over, you couldn’t be very surprised about that could you?

Stranger as I am to the world of IVF - I trusted that if God didn;t want me to have kids it would be because of a genetic fault and therefore would adopt.
I am under the impression that McCanns used the excuse that twins dna was found and not Maddies - if that is true and they were IVF would not the dna be very different between the twins and Maddie?
Therefore saying the twins dna was in the car boot and not Maddies could be easily proved wrong if they have different dna through IVF????

No Ramon, he was describing the process of testing, taking a sample and comparing with one of the parents.
Think about it, why did Gerry not come out today (like any one would) and say categorically, Kate and I are the biological parents, instead of saying I am Maddies biological Father?
Why not put it to bed right away? I know I would and he is usually pretty forthright when he gets mad, this certianly made him want to makle an attributable to him statement.

I have my methods of discovering who is making whoopee with whom. Once the T9 return to Portugal and all our under the glare of my interrogation room lamp, and by the way, it is not one of those energy saving lamps either, it is a high powered annoying in your eye light, then I pose the what does his peepee look like question.
Only a fool would give the correct answer, so if the peepee description is wrong, then we know they are lying on purpose and are guilty of free and wanton sex with consenting adults…..

Perhaps allowing the circumstances that made it possible for Madeleine to be “abducted” was part of a “narrower agenda” that led to the setting up of the fund that will allow the McCanns to pursue the “wider agenda” of saving the world from paedophiles?

I believe the McCanns are guilty and I laud people like Spudgun, whose video raises important questions about Gerry and Kate McCann’s behavior. But there is a point that I think many people who (like me) think the McCanns are guilty, are wrong about. Some people who think the McCanns killed Madeleine and covered it up think the McCanns “went to confession” the night of the disappearance. I aver that the McCanns did NOT confess anything to the priest. I believe that McCanns’ asking to see a priest the night Madeleine disappeared was the first act of their charade; I do not believe for a second the McCanns “confessed” to the priest. There would no point to the McCanns’ seeking absolution for a crime they were about to cover up. From a religious perspective, you cannot be forgiven for sins that you are not resolved to try to make amends for. This means that if you were to go to a priest and confess to killing someone, the priest would refuse to give you absolution unless you were going to turn yourself in. (OK, there may be an exception if someone confesses a murder from, say, fifty years ago and turning oneself in is impractical or impossible, but you get my point.) Now, of course, the McCanns could have lied and told the priest they would tell the police the truth, but that wouldn’t make any sense. From a religious perspective, that would be a grave sin compounding the underlying grave sin; from a practical perspective, telling the priest the truth about the crime, but then not telling the police the truth, would make it much more difficult to use the priest as a prop in their charade. While a priest must never reveal what he’s been told in confession, he’s under no obligation to become part of a p.r. campaign for a sinner who has confessed to a heinous sin. Therefore, the McCanns would be motivated only to tell the priest at every juncture that they were victims, not the parties responsible for Madeleine’s disappearance.

I think his comment was due to all the bizarre comments about ivf babies and weird statements about dna and forensics coming from scientists and supposed professional journalists. I think Kate and Gerry are the biological parents of all 3 children. Oh and that poor little boys nose!
I wonder what the genetic marker is for that honker. I shudder to think!

If Madeleine did have an accident, I think it must have been inside one of the rooms because we are talking about a busy holiday resort. I think the police were talking about getting DNA from 350 guests. I dont think even the McCanns would have tried to cover it up if there was any chance that someone had witnessed the incident or them cleaning up the scene.

Also for the record I believe the new PJ in charge is doing the old Peado ring to sweeten pot in UK press etc, whilst the others were not in fact removed from case at all, but working undercover on foul play by parents and/ or friends in Tappas.
People ask about motives of 4 or 5 friends keeping so silent… good old fashioned sex scandal usually works for me….. possibly in this case some rather untoward info re parentage of all the children. And a good bit of sharing of WAGS..killer on medical career if outed.

You maybe missed my earlier postings. I’m not saying the parents could see the apartment and run back and prevent an accident. I was exploring the simple possibility that Madeleine wandered out the room looking for her parents and she climbed on the railing at the step edge of the patio. All I said was that from that vantage point, I’d be certain that Madeleine could look towards and probably see the Tapas Bar in the distance. Knowing her parents were there, she might have been standing on there shouting for them before slipping off and onto the steps below. I think this is a sufficiently dangerous accident that would still be seen by many people as gross neglect to allow a 3 yr old to be able to do that at all.
I don’t for one minute think the parents ever looked back or even if they did, could see such an incident happen.

Incidentally, Ramon said that Kate was the biological parent, well, one of them definately is not and as Maddie and the twins look like Mccanns (very distinctive - as with most ‘ugly’ people) then it must have been an egg donated, in my opinion.
Thats why they are sure the DNA is Maddies. Something which Mark Williams said on Sky a long time back, whilst actually defending the Mccanns, tells us that one of the parents isnt genetically connected. He said ‘once the IVF is taken into account’ - meaning that there is a genetic difference in Maddie which has to be taken into account. It explains why Kate does not appear to be reacting at all like a Mother (including all the ‘off to creche’s and nannies and in laws with the kids) - genetically (in my opinion) she isnt.

I still can’t get the suspicion that 5/2 may be the actual date. Was that not the night they drove into town and had dinner there?
If something happened to M on that night (and I am still leaning toward the sedation/fall combo) The T9 being miles away would be much harder to explain to PJ than around the corner at the Tapas bar.

They’ve done a lot. They cashed a check for 57,000. They got more yellow ‘Madeleine’ bracelets and tshirts in stock. They’re trying to get on the Barabara Walter’s tv programme. Oh and they’ve gotten M’s photo on market trolleys and they hired a magician-detective from South Africa who has a special gadget ge can detect the whereabouts of anyone from a single strand of hair, his magic box and a laptop. They’ve purchaed some warmer autumn attire as per Mitchell.

Batman.
The McCanns have always maintained that “if neccessary” they would return to Portugal but, as Jolie (was it Jolie?), pointed out they also said they would not leave Portugal without Madeleine.
When/if the request for them to return comes it will be interesting to see if and for what reason they refuse? It will also be interesting to see if there is any government “interference” to allow them to refuse.
