The theory that they sedated all of their children is a “wild theory”. It appears in Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas, a source for “some of the more outlandish reporting”. The Express reproduces the outlandish reporting for its readers to digest and marvel at
“Grim hunt for images as child-porn ring is smashed” – Operation Predator is a clamp down on child porn in Portugal. A friend of the McCanns says: “This shows the scale of the problem in Portugal and appears to show that the Portuguese police seem to be looking in the right direction. It may provide vital leads”
But the raids were not directly connected with the Madeleine case. Operation Predator was six months in the planning

It has been very difficult to leave Sean and Amelie but it is only for one nght and we will be back to see them before bedtime tomorrow. Trish and Sandy (Madeleine’s Godparents) who have been with us in Portugal since Day 2 are looking after them and we were surprised to hear they were tucked up in bed by 7.30pm- they must like their new beds!

I actually thought these forensic test were finished by now, and they now know that all 3 children had been sedated. But you’re right, the press doesn’t say much about that. The McCanns like to (say they will) sue journalists, or rather say ‘that they will sue papers who print ‘hurtfull things like implying they sedated their kids’. IMO the journalists have nothing to worry about.

Notes from an interview with K and G:

K. Yes, I remember that’s right, the red, and two glasses.
IPC: The waiter said he left only red wine on the table, and now we have Chablis. When exactly did you first drink the Chablis?
K: Can I answer that question G., really it’s an innocent question.
G: Kate drank what I say she drank and the waiter knows nothing he was stoned. I saw him smoking weed. He is a bum and beats his dog.

748 Stevo. I think it would be much easier to explain an accident - maybe, even if necessary, with a few embellishments thrown in - than what we have. It would have been very easy just to say that she fell down the stairs. They are both doctors and I think because of the status that that entails, they would have been believed, vs.
Egg-headed men, rotting meat, smelly nappies, ‘fiends’, doors open/shut etc.

I think the thing that would have destroyed the McCanns is child neglect to the degree where it resulted in loss of life. We already know they have a blame-free narcissistic attitude so it naturally follows that they wouldn’t admit to a nasty accident if they felt they were the cause of it.

I, with my proven interrogation methods, will get to the bottom of funny facial expressions. All photo ops need a director and only really good shots will be released to the press…..this should squelch rumors of eye blinking, eye rolling, and scrunched up noses.
And those attributing ill desires based upon bad photos, please come to my office, we are interviewing today for 2nd in command.

Sounds like none of the parents ever left the table to check on their children. If the neighbor upstairs is correct in stating that she heard a child crying for a long period of time, i believe the kids were left alone until the parents returned for the evening. And that is very sad!!
We may never know what happen to Madeleine. She may never be found. And that is also sad.
If the Mccanns want us to believe they are innocent, then they need to look and sound innocent. And IMO so far they look quilty of something.

OMG..I can’t believe that now investigators are saying that Gerry is not the biological father…That is too much..Personally, i think Madeleine looks just like gerry. dimples and everything..That is outrageous!!! i hope we hear only facts….What a shame on PJ..I live in Portugal, and we have seen a loss of tourists..so sad but i don’t blame people for getting scared away

If Madeleine did fall and die on the steps - possibly after concussion, it’s possible that the parents did put her to bed at 7pm and for her to be “seen” by David Payne. He’s not lying in that case is he? Just that he didn’t see a fit and healthy Madeleine…probably a comatose person…
