The theory that they sedated all of their children is a “wild theory”. It appears in Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas, a source for “some of the more outlandish reporting”. The Express reproduces the outlandish reporting for its readers to digest and marvel at
“Grim hunt for images as child-porn ring is smashed” – Operation Predator is a clamp down on child porn in Portugal. A friend of the McCanns says: “This shows the scale of the problem in Portugal and appears to show that the Portuguese police seem to be looking in the right direction. It may provide vital leads”
But the raids were not directly connected with the Madeleine case. Operation Predator was six months in the planning

That’s ok! I have been wondering that if Madeleine was suffering concussion early that evening, it would still all fit the alibis and stories. Even David Payne could have seen Madeleine “asleep” in bed. The bit I’m struggling with is at what stage did the parents decide they’d have to hatch an abduction story?

Its just that with all these so called ‘official’ spokesmen (having close ties with the family) giving statements that are printed in the Daily Rags!……..one has to quetion their impartiality!

What if the kids bedroom door was locked, and Maddie climbed out of the window and fell onto the stairs? This theory might not work if she was drugged unless it wouldn’t take much strength to push the shutters up enough for her to climb through.
Someone has probably covered this angle.

Sure. It could be that the patio door was open, Kate was there with the kids while Gerry was playing tennis and Madeleine wandered out and climbed on the railing. My kids were always climbing on stuff - kids do that. They don’t see the danger and in this case, there’s a huge drop to the steps below. Madeleine could have fallen before Gerry got back. She may have been concussed but not dead. Gerry would be none the wiser at first. As time wore on, things could have escalated and if Kate was alone with the kids, panic may have set in whereby they both felt that accusations would point at Kate having done it rather than by an accident…I’m only speculating and it’s all “what-ifs”.

Ya know help me here,I’m just a simple loootenanntt,why would any one want to cover up an accident,thats unless it aint no accident.Ya know my line of work aint big on accidents,more like on purpose accidents,if you see where I am coming from,ya know the priest troubles me not that I’m sayin he aint a good priest,to many comings and goings round that area,to many loose ends,we gotta have another look at some of these times involving the priest,ya know it bothers me a lot,gotta go my wife is makin the meatballs.

The reason IPC is visiting a place in Morocco where M has not been sighted is because she is sighted everywhere so obviously she must be where she is not - just good old fashioned logic. Ciao!

Surely if the strands of hair come back with traces of sedatives in them, then the McCanns can’t deny sedating the kids. You can’t argue with scientific fact.

Inspector Clouseau is taking a much needed vacation to Morocco in Search of M and is visiting a sequestered monastery in the hills where there is absolutely no reports of little blond girls. He will be gone for several days but when he returns be prepared for a much desired update on monastic cuisine.

I absolutely will not tolerate ignorant questions doubting my police work. We found the tampons on the beach during a recent search. We are certain it is Kate’s from the night when M. went missing. The bloody tampon is being sent to London for a DNA match as it seems it may not be really K’s. Now our best theory so far is that K has a donor uterus and the bloody tampon is truly hers by proxy.

I think that it’s feasible for things to have escalated to a degree where they were knee deep in problems and didn’t have an easy escape route. Huntley was a bit like that. He didn’t know those girls were going to walk past his house did he? They did, he invited them in. Perhaps he tried it on sexually with one or both of them and the next thing he’s drowning them in the bath. Then, he tried to cover his tracks by burning the bodies 20 miles away.
With this case, I can see how a simple accident can quickly become a horror/worst nightmare scenario. Once you’re in it, it’s impossible to get out of it. Gerry and Kate are very intelligent people so are in a different league to Huntley intelligence wise. I’m not saying this is what happened, but I’ve been trying to think of a plausible accident instead of a crazy sedation/7 kids in room scenario that none of us can really accept because it’s all so bizarre.
