Using a left-wing protected species to Trojan in right-wing reforms is a noble tradition - as a dedicated corporatist libertarian (which is mostly centre left, with a hint of right), I do it in debates all the time (eg. Gay men need to buy fast moving consumer goods - it’s part of their identity!!!), but that is the lamest Trojan I’ve ever read. That’s a blatant human shield - every white person down the pub says paedos should get flogged, but I’ll just mention the one Muslim taxi driver I had a chat with.
