It started out clockwise but I found if I looked at her feet this slowly drifted upwards she started going anti.

Does that mean I am ambibrainstrous?

well first it went anti clockwise and then it went clockwise, what does that mean? Has one half of my brain stopped working and been taken over by the other?

It is not an optical illusion, depends on when you click.

That's my final answer!

Indeed, it is an optical illusion. I think it focuses on where her legs cross over and the little "leap" in the dance. I sent this to a friend, as this is the first I've seen of it, and they had trouble seeing it any other way other than clockwise as well at first.

ANORAK & JUNE

Uh... it's a Gestalt thing.... like noticing the distracting backlit serifs rather than the rest of the font when trying to read the new-look Anorak site.

P L E E Z E change back to sanserif for body-text.

TEST: someone tell me this is more readable in Times than in Arial.

( Scientific tests show this would mean you have a very strange brain. And remember that web designers, however unqualified, don't actually want to READ the texts they're formatting.)

It is some kind of optical illusion (I haven't been able to pin it down to the exact bit though, and I refuse to stare at this all day!) . You can see both ways though, sans acid.

She certainly goes clockwise. It seems to me obvious from the bob of hair at the back of her head that she is spinning clockwise. The was being emailed around two or so weeks ago. I assumed then it was a joke.
