AS the Telegraph notes on the BBC job loss story:

Job losses are grim, and miserable. But did the BBC need to send 12, yes, 12, staff to cover the launch of Chris Huhne’s tilt for the leadership of the Liberal Democrats? Such obvious overstaffing can’t help the Beeb’s case, especially when politicians are watching.

Note to budding TV producers: Sky and ITN had three staff each there, according to the Boulton & Co blog on Sky’s website.
