If it was purely and simply an abduction that ever came to trial, I should think the trial itself would offer enough public embarrassment to the parents. That said, I can understand the role that having a trial re neglect with any charges suspended could play. An issue arises with this however because as many better informed people have commented, the McCann’s Baby Listening Service ™ probably doesn’t constitute neglect in the strictly legal sense. It’s just a bloody stupid service for any caring parent to ever consider using… In my opinion.

so what if madeleines been in that guy’s house? The mc canns befriended him. He lives with his mother for gods sakes. the mc cann camp are pleased because its a very weak possibility to defend their ilogical thoughts. I’ve had other peoples kids here, does that mean if they die im responsible? I think not.

Brian, of Brians Dreams, thinks Murat is actually the guilty party. Why would McCanns have asked for Murat’s help? They obviously did not know him well. As Maria pointed out, what did Gerry do, flag down some barely-an-acquaintance and ask him to help cover up a child’s death? WHY in the world would he do that? If there is evidence of Madeleine in Murat’s house, there’s something else going on here.

Oooh, here was a recent one. Here is a real story:
Mom had her two kids in the back of the car. Rural area, very small town. Drove a block down the road to her landlord’s house to deliver the rent. Left car running in driveway. Knocked on the landlord’s door, handed over the check, not more than 30 seconds small talk. Turned around. Her daughter had stuck her head out the back window of the car and her son had pressed the button that automatically rolls up the car windows. Daughter died of brain injury.

See my post 1151. I have read this morning in 24 Horas that police have found evidences of DNA, fluids, in Murat house. Police, however, dont know if Maddie was alive or death… but she was in his home

Okay, I go outside to water the plants and I live an acre of land and I chat to the neighbor over the fence for no more than twenty minutes (everyday while the children nap ) and children are asleep, all young babes, and my dogs barks and I look up and flames are engulfing the house and I can’t get back inside and all burn.

Well done Maria. Everyone should take note of what has been said in this post, and not pass judgment before anything has been proved. (Although, by reading some of these comments, that is what the majority seem to be intent on doing. Talk about kicking a dog when its down, you really do take the biscuit). I am sure all we care about is the welfare of Madeleine. I for one am sure that she is still alive somewhere. This little tot must be found, and all the bickering about her parents is doing no good whatsoever. Hopefully this new police chief will put a new perspective on the search, and will start looking for a child that is alive.
