I can read about Britney Spears and shake my head and wonder how they even let her drive her children around in a car,
but the McCanns we simply don’t know the inner truth here, even about the days afterwards - and so much so is slanted against them, that it makes me wonder why? It just seems screwy -

Why, when you ‘believe’ your daughter has been abducted would you, as parents, leave your two remaining children and fly off to meet the pope - when one of you isn’t even a Catholic? Then plan a rond-robin trip of Europe - again, leaving behind the two children that you supposedly love?
Serious questions about the ‘parenting’ methods and the ‘grief and worry’ of these two people!

Just-me,1147 Nobody here tonight has condoned child neglect. Outside this site tonight I am active in spreading information on lost children and writing letters in the hope that one day the problem of abduction will at least be reduced. I will not pass judgement where there is no real evidence and so Ilive quite well with myself How about you?

1179 Pinky Panther - get a real grip on reality …. if they had done the same in the UK the two ’surviving children’ would have been ‘removed’ from them and put in care; and they would have been charged with child abuse! END OF!
THE FACT IS these two heineous individuals - who give not a jot for their children - left THREE children all under the age of 4 alone, for over 3 hours!
The childminding service which they dismissed was manned by the SAME minders that they left the twins with DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY? Nice family holiday NOT!

Whether the McCann’s harmed, murdered, disposed of Madeleine, or any one of a seemingly myriad of lurid speculations is a totally unrelated matter. Please don’t confuse the two.

I have read soooooo many true crime stories, I have studied psychology, I have worked in child care and done the courses.
I have decided The Mc Canns are NPD mad
Their actions directly were involved in her disapearance with some others.
I used to think accidental,
but now thin something more sinister and widespread is involved
statements like
Kate spoke for the fist time –
“I did want to go and look for Maddie myself
– and we’ve been working really hard every day – the first 48 hrs were the most difficult we were almost non-functioning to begin with – but the support and strength from others has really helped – we may not have been physically searching but we have been very busy.”

was the door unlocked ….no not according to GM’s call to his sister on the night of the abduction ..the doors were locked there was a break in….bit different from the story today!

lets face it the door was locked the mc’c even said it was locked …at the start of it all!
doors locked shutters closed….the shutters were then smashed (GM’s phone call to sister) and door opened from inside to escape……..just a little different from the “story” now.

1228 Jo I do know. I do live in the real world and I am informed. I have no sympathy for people who willingly hurt children. However, I don’t think the McCanns did anything more than leave the children alone and don’t get me wrong I don’t condone that , but honestly I think they did believe, mistakingly albeit, that it was alright.I do feel they are paying the ultimate price. Madeleine, as someone said here tonight is their daughter, their little 4 year old daughter. For that I have sympathy .
