on2u…..i dont know…but doesnt it seem awful strange that these people are coming out of the woodwork? And now Murat has a look alike? I wonder if the parents of that baby know the nanny they were payin left their baby to get food? That is just so wrong. And the SAME apartment? Very odd IMO!!
Still waiting for DNA results here in the states about the lil girl found dead in a box…if the DNA matches a man from my town, then case is solved…..if not…where is his lil girl and who is this baby that no one misses?
After almost 7 months…..i doubt lil Madeleine will be found and i doubt we will ever know what happen to her. IMO Kate and Gerry and their Tapas friends know….

**A nanny left a baby in the same apartment 6 months before Madeleine went missing? to get food? and he looked like Murat? And the nanny is a new witness? What next? If an innocent child was not missing and presumed dead…this would almost be funny…it’s like try this story, if it dont work, we can come up with a new one…
A new witness, who worked as a nanny at the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz, has given a sworn statement about the incident to detectives in the UK and Spain.
The British girl claims she disturbed a prowler, described as looking identical to official suspect Murat, trying to climb in through the ground-floor window of apartment 5A six months before Madeleine disappeared.
The babysitter immediately reported the incident to management at the Mark Warner resort, who passed the information to Portuguese police.
The woman, who has asked not to be named, said she left a baby sleeping in the apartment while she went to get something to eat. On her return she startled the man, who saw her coming and fled shouting, “No, no”.
Details of the sighting have been given to detectives at Metodo 3, the Barcelona-based agency hired by the McCanns three months ago. Investigators are now working on the description of a man in his 30s with dark hair.

on2u…i also find it odd that the police did not separate the tapas 9 and ask them to write dn the details of the evening Madeleine went missing.*they keep telling us there are alot of inconsistencies. Also, i find it unfair that the Tapas 9 were able to “grill” Murat, after it was them that said they saw him outside the Mccann apartment. Maybe if they question them now, someone will actually tell the truth and police can get on with finding out what really happen to Madeleine that night.(supposedly 2 of them wanted to “clarify” their account of that evening?)
It is over 2 years since Natalie Holloway disappeared in Aruba. I also read this morning that the boys questioned after she went missing were brought back into custody. Hopefully her parents will get some answers.
After reading about the toddler in Texas…i find it sad how many children are missing.

You would think any serious investigater would be working the angles. Breaking down the Tapas9 and finding the weakest link. It seems they are all protected from interigation. I have not heard of anyone in that group being given the 3rd degree. Is it because of their status that they are above the law??If it were any poor uneducated misguided parent (or as the case usually is)boyfriend who harms the child it would be an open and shut case.
The newest info on the American girl who disappeared in one of the S. American Islands(Aruba?)is that they have now arrested the 3 suspects in the case. Point being that they are going to use the weakest link. The one who has the most to loose because he had the least envolvement. Once they break him… case solved.
I can’t fathom why they can’t do this in the McCann case. It leads me to believe that they have people in high places protecting them. Poor Madeleine….

IMO Gerry and Kate know more than what they want us to believe. I dont put much truth in what any of the Tapas 9 have to say. They were with Madeleine before she went missing. Kate has a attitude now about how people “see” her…Gerry is still running his campaign. Poor Madeleine!! Where were they when Madeleine needed them? I would still like to see what went on in their daily lives back home. With Kate and Gerry working, how often were the child actually with their parents? Were they left alone at home also? Or were they with some sort of nanny. I mean it was a “family” vacation and i think the children were looked after by others more than they were with their parents. Or they were left to fend for themselves. What happen to all the evidence? I mean how many dead people were in the trunk of that car? What about the clothes in that bag? How about that guy that said he was sure he could find Madeleine, the last i heard he wanted parts of the beach dug up? They were at the church again looking to see if her body could of been hidden there? I read today that Murat’s gf was not even in the area 2 days after Madeleine went missing. What about the friends that wanted to change their story? What happen with all of this?
Reading my news today….a man about 30 miles from where i live mite be the father of Baby Grace…the toddler found dead in a plastic box. If this is the child, her mother is 19 and pregnant again with another man, she left Ohio and went to Texas with this man, the child has been missing since July, the mother says she cant talk about it and doesnt know where the child is. No missing person report was filed. The boyfriend said some child agency came to the house, knocked the mother down and took the child, another story says mom gave her to someone. What is wrong with parents these days. Seems like some treat their children like something disposable…instead of a gift from God.

Star - It is just a shame that Gerry didn’t treat Madeleine as the ‘princess’ when she was in his care!
If she is with someone - then somehow I doubt if she would be neglected and left on her own whilst her carers are off tappassing with their mates!
I know this comment seems very disparative but in my mind Gerry and Kate have little interest in this other than their own intentions!

To be philosophical!
We ,as human beings(I think) have come a long way from our ancestors who dwelled in caves. Although, when you look at the Animal Kingdom there are those species who protect their young and those species who kill their young. I would like to believe that those of higher intelligence would protect their young. It is instinctual. Where does gerry and kate fit into this order? and do they teach ethics in medical school anymore???

oh that would be an interesting bit of info(the phone charges) seems like their website has become a store…..Will wearing t-shirts and bracelents actually find Madeleine? T-shirts that Kate refused to wear shortly after Madeleine went missing. Like i said it seems like this story is all over the place…sightings in Morocco AGAIN, talking to the priest and checking the church AGAIN….Murat and his girl frield being looked at AGAIN…and Gerry hoping Madeleine is being treated like the princess she is? That statement sends shivers dn my spine.
Seems like all the “evidence” they had amounted to nothing?

even if the private investigators do come up with something that they consider to positive as good as far as the Mcs are concerned - because they have been hired by the Mcs I doubt very much if the PJ will take any of their findings into account, which is fairly obvious. I think that the only thing that will make the slightest bit of difference to the investigation as far as these hugely expensive private detectives are concerned is if they actually find Madeleine. It seems that the McCanns are more concerned with the detectives getting them off the hook than actually finding links to Madeleines whereabouts. I was a bit disgusted to read that apparently the information phone line set up was a premium charge line - does anyone know if this is correct ? If it is then I can only assume that it is yet another money making scam

Since may 3/5 when we first were alerted that Madeleine may have been abducted by a pedophile ring. I thought the parents or anyone envolved would have broken every law to get Madeleine back. They would have used any trick in the book to save their child from this fate.
If they had to would have made a deal with the devil. That is what I expected. That is what a parent would do. Instead we had to suffer through every press conference and phony sickening deceitful behavior from thes so called parents and their crowd. Now six months later we are being told about abduction.
Why are we not unearthing all the leads given?? Is this just another scam by the McCanns. If she is out there there is enough money and power to find her. What are they waiting for. I hope this is not another McCann spin. With all the intelligence surrounding this case it certainly does not appear that anyone with credibilty is doing anything.

The witness, a Portuguese trucker who has not been named, reported the sighting several weeks ago to a telephone hotline set up by the agency in Spain.
He claims he witnessed the handover on May 5, two days after the four-year-old disappeared from her bed in the Ocean Club complex while her parents were dining in a restaurant nearby.
**None of this makes any sense to me…..If she was turned over as this trucker says…where did the DNA come from that we have heard about? and what about the text and phone records of Gerry and the other Tapas people? They are now back to Murat and his girlfriend being part of a child stealing deal? I tell you this story jumps all over the place. Now they are looking for a live Madeleine in Morocco? Well i hope she is there and is alive…but the longer and stranger this gets, the more i believe she is not alive.

Today a few papers have quoted the PJ as saying they may never be able to prosecute the McCanns. Also the priest involved has again been questioned. The church is again being searched and also the graveyard.
Different papers with different items!
If the PJ’s really want to charge them then they should go for negligence and be done with it. Once they are separated from their tapas friends maybe then one of them will crack!
Sounds awful, I know, but there is a real need to get to the bottom of this and fast because if Madeleine is still alive she needs to be found.

It might be my suspicious nature, but every time we get tidbits of info like this it never pans out. You are so right. Why six months later do we get this information??? and to top it off they are dragging Murat and his girlfriend back into the mess. He has already been dragged through the mud. Now the McCann team are putting him back into the picture. They should tell their PI that this has already been done. You can’t get blood out of a stone.
Lets hope Gerry’s best case scenerio will be right on. Madeleine is being cared for by someone who is treating her like a princess and his PI is going to crack this case “SOON”….We have been around the block a few times on these wild goose chases. What is gerry going to think of next.

A witness believes he saw the girl with a man and a woman in Portugal two days after she vanished and had identified the woman as Michaela Waldzuch, the German-born girlfriend of suspect Robert Murat, the Mail reported.
The witness, who has not been identified, told police that the couple was behaving suspiciously, and looked as if they were trying to hide the child, the Mail reported.
**Yes i too find it odd that this is just being said NOW, 6 months after Madeleine went missing? Is this “witness” part of the Mccann group? Here it says “the couple” was behaving oddly….so this witness also saw Murat with the child? If they were acting odd, why did this person wait 6 months to say so? Why did he not call police (I mean even if it was not Madeleine, maybe it was a child that needed help) It was already a known fact that a child went missing so why did he not do anything i have to keep asking myself, seems like all the people that “see” Madeleine dont bother to get any help for the child or wait ages to report it.

BTW….Why now 6 months down the road have we discovered a blonde woman involved in this abduction?? and she no less fits the description of Murats girlfriend…very interesting!! The key is who put out this story?? This farce will be played out by the McCann team as long as they can dupe the public via the media (their allies). Where is their any serious investigation being done and with what evidence to back up these stories. This is a circus and no one cares about Madeleine. Just keep the stories coming in with no evidence to back them up and this could sell newspapers for another year at least….UNBELIEVABLE!!!
There is nothing I would like more than to have egg on my face and Madeleine will be found “soon” and she is being treated like a princess….Gerry tells beautiful stories…

You are so right in your observations.
These “PARENTS” should at least be guilty of neglect. What kind of parent leaves their child alone while even the slightest feeling that something is not right in the bedroom. Gerry walks out of the room knowing someting is wrong??Or is this just a scam to let us think there might have been an intruder??Either way his story stinks.
What kind of message are they sending to the world if they are perceived as the victim of some crime perpatrated on them(parents). They are responsible for what happened at the very least neglect….I feel like I am screaming for justice for Madeleine and no one is listening.

on2u….I agree…the only one i feel sorry for here is Madeleine. IMO her parents say someone was “watching her” and they did NOTHING about that? If this is actually true, Kate and Gerry should of reported it and watched over Madeleine and their 2 other children very closely, maybe even move from there? No, they left them alone to fend for themselves night after night. So they are quilty of neglect. Gerry knows the abductor was in the room with him? And a few news reports say when the children were checked one of the times Madeleine was NOT in her bed, and dad just assumed she was in the parents bed, BUT didnt check? I still find Ms Tanner’s story hard to believe…her description is a joke, how to you see the pj’s on a girl wrapped in a blanket, being carried by a man, BUT you dont see his face, and why did she even pay attention to this at the time? Now someone else say a woman pass a “baby” off to a man and this person is sure it was Madeleine. And that other sighting, where the child was pushed into a taxi with a woman, the lady that saw this girl said she had Madeleine’s eye? I found Gerry’s statement odd…he hopes Madeleine is being takin care of like a princess? Also the Tapas friends are saying it was Murat AGAIN? This case is very odd. I still hope and pray Madeleine is alive and well. But i still feel the Mccanns and their friends are part of the disappearance.

I think the public is once again being set up by the McCann team. We are given tidbits of enticing info to sway our opinions of these so called parents.
This detective can say all he wants…and then drop it. I hope they find her soon and I am proven to be way off the mark….but this has been soooo long and the stories are becoming soooooo unbelievable….God help this poor child and she is the only one who deserves our pity.

Private investigators hunting for four-year-old Maddie were contacted last week and the information has been given to the Portuguese police.
The witness claims she saw a woman pass on the child to a man in central Portugal, about 100 miles from the resort of Praia da Luz, where the McCanns were staying.
The man and woman then left in different vehicles and in different directions.
**Also we have heard from Gerry that someone was paying special attention to Madeleine days before she went missing. Well then, why did Gerry and Kate not report this to someone or why did they still leave her alone at the creche daily and alone in a apartment night after night…They didnt seem to concerned then.
The detective says he is 100% sure Madeleine is alive? Well i hope he is correct, BUT how can he say this?
Funny how this NEW witness took 6 months to come forward.

Why the concern for the “parents” ?Madeleine depended on them for safety and security. Parents are supposed to provide that. Madeleine is gone. That is all that matters.

Wow, all these rumours and false leads can really leave one feeling despondent. If the McCanns aren’t guilty, they are going to be totally traumatised by the this whole experience alone of being persecuted by the public and often being sent on a wild goose chase.
Either way I still feel very sorry for them. If Madeleine died through negligence it just worsens the trauma for Kate and Gerry knowing she is directly responsible for her daughter’s death. Sometimes we use anger to help us survive emotionally in the time of grief, but if there is no anger to counteract our grief but only guilt …

Well i guess we cant believe much of what we read in the news…..Just the other day the Madeleine sighting in Bosnia was reported to be a hoax….In todays news, they have actually found this child?

marina…..glad to be of some help. I just cant believe this case. Every morning i hope to check the news and read she has been found. Will we ever know what happen to poor lil Madeleine? I still believe that the Mccanns know what happen. I found it interesting today on my local news they were discussing the missing wife of a policeman. He had been on tv stating he was not involved in her disappearance or the death of a previous wife. They were to have people who could read him and discuss his behavoir. Then they went on to other cases…a mom who cried on the tv over the disappearance of her two child…looking very upset only to find out she drove her car into the water with them in it and let them drown. Then they showed a pic of Madeleine and Kate and Gerry. They didnt go into detail…Only to say the case was in the news all the time.
With all the bits of info out there, i hope we hear something soon. I hope Madeleine is still alive and will be found soon, even if she is dead she needs a proper burial. I hope the rumors of her body being tossed out to sea are not true.

Star thank you ever so much for keeping us updated regularly. In South Africa we are basically the last to hear anything … possibly because we have so much drama going on in our own country. Whenever I need to be updated I come straight to this site and read your postings …
