Maybe everyone looked after the Mccanns kids, seems like to some people their kids are not people but possessions to be passed around whilst the parents play their precious games.

The Portuguese themselves have stated quite emphatically that there has been no attempt to interfere with or unduly influence their investigation from the UK Police or government. Postulating GB stepping in and telling them what to do is demeaning of the Portuguese.

What would your soul look like, Ian? Especially if they turn out to be completely innocent.
No arguements about their massive failings as parents, leaving 3 children unsupervised. But they would be deemed psychopaths if they were guilty of killing their own child and behaving as they have been. One of them would have cracked by now, I’m sure. I don’t know many psychopaths I can compare them with. How about you?

The Tapas Bar waiters were quoted as saying they didn’t even realise they had children as they
were never with any!
I’m sure it’s likely they looked after each other’s children when parents went off jogging or playing tennis/sailing or whatever. It would be normal.

Police thinks O’Brien is a pelican and at least 3 of the tapas9 are male white albatrosses.

I have no idea why Kate McCann is talked about as a very attractive woman. I see dozens of better looking women just strolling through the shopping mall today. What is it with these bony faced women - Posh Spice is the same. They all need some meat on their bones.

Well put. I think she might also have refused to answer further questions because she became aware her answers were being miss-translated. That this was probably happening is borne out by the confusion about her being offered a reduced sentence in return for a confession.

Why was Madeleine so special and unique to be abducted? Because of her right eye. As for Murat, her eye can be changed with a eye glass. So brain washed, and growing up, never can she be ever recognized. Murat had connections with Jehovah’s witness, read Wikipedia’s article “pedophilia and Jehovah’s witnesses”. The circus made by police around the Mccann’s are just an umbrella to make the guilty part less carefull. Wasn’t Murat few days ago asking for his arguido’s statu removed?

Is it possible that there is a connection between the Swiss pedophile who shot himself in a forest in Switzerland and the McCann case? http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSL1545347920070915 There were reports that a white van with Spanish number plates was seen in the Algarve at the time of Madeleine’s disappearance. This story seemed to disappear. Does anyone know any more?

Here’s another idea to bolster the idea of another child passing off as Madeleine.
What if the McCanns were looking after some of the other children belonging to other Tapas 9 members? What if some of that informal child-minding took place every day? How then could Portuguese people really know who’s child was whose?

But of course her physical appearance is only part of the story, another significant part is her behaviour toward her responsibilities.
As to that comment about the awful accident - its not the Portuguese who are highlighted but sadly once again people (often but not always) Brits ignoring dangers.
In this case, absolutely clear warnings about undercurrents, seasonal lifeguards etc.
Personally I dont think we shoudl discuss that accident, however. Nobody is telling lies there, whereas somebody is telling very large porkies in the Mccann saga. I wonder if Gordon will comment on the recent accidents or if thats restricted to his chums?

What loving, caring mother would go out socialising and leave the toddlers? I can understand some bloke thinking it was ok to do that and getting stick from his wife but to have 2 parents and their friends do the same is more unbelievable as time goes on.

Sorry, one thing you can’t do is put detail into a photo that isn’t there in the first place. Enlarging it only enlarges the fuzziness.
Personally, it doesn’t look like Madeleine to me for a simple reason. The distance from her knee to foot is the same as the twin’s. I have always had the theory that Madeleine died earlier in the day and it wasn’t a rush-job disposal.

Two of our four children are now in college and I have come to realize that things are very different with the younger generation than my own.
First of all, they are taught to “network, network, network.” It is drummed into their heads. These networks are to be used not only for business contacts but personal reasons as well.
Our older two children are constantly contacted through e-mails and text messages. They receive thousands of messages a month from their friends. It’s insane and it is the way things are today. There is an element of gang membership in it that I dislike. How this system is used will depend on the ethics of the people involved. It is a very effective system, when it is used properly.

Harry, most sensible thing you have said so far, but only part the story.
I actually think she is technically quite ugly, as shows up in one or two photos. There is, of course, a fine line between some types of beauty and ugliness.
I suspect if her soul were exposed it would be a hideous sight.
