Someone else has just said the opposite, ie it is suspicious that GM NEVER says anything like “erm” and never seems lost for the next word!

701- I agree, too. I feel desperately sorry for Kate- I think whatever happened, she got dragged in and more or less forced to go along with it. But that goes back to my question from last week, why does it SEEM like the PJ Is focusing on Kate as the killer? Could it be because they are trying to smoke information out about the others, from her, knowing the suggestion she killed her own daughter would send Kate over the edge?

174 — The call between KM and her mother may have been a cuople of days after Madeleine’s disappearance, by which time the McCann’s hotel phone may have been tapped. Gerry’s being the one to call Susan Healy and KM’s admitting soemthing to Susan Healy in a later call are not mutually exclusive.

Kate’s parents have been photographed visiting them in Portugal (her father is ill and they did not stay long) and also visiting them in Rothley and attending Sunday church services with them. Check out the news photo site, Gettyimages.com if you don’t believe it.
Inventing myths about them does not help get to what happened to Madeleine.

It’s good to be back - something seems to be happening both in virtual and real reality.
Re: the “disaster” call from Mr. McScam to grandma (presumably Mrs. McS’s mother?). I remember that Mrs McS was quoted as saying, when she ran back to the Tapas bar: “It wasn’t supposed to be like this!” which fits in with the inappropriate “disaster” word.
Re: Mrs. McS’s ‘new career’. I can suggest one for her - sewing mailbags.
Re: Mr. McS’s ubiquitously inappropriate attitudes and language - and in particular his infantile remark when having been privileged to visit the Pope: “…tainted by the realisation that our daughter was missing”. Isn’t this the reason they went to see the Pope? Or perhaps Mrs. McS thought he was being interviewed for the next vacant position!
And finally, does anyone have access to the street and square names of Praia de Luz? I know one can get some names by using Google maps, but I don’t think it gives them all. I have a particular reason for asking this which I can divulge later.
And finally finally, I think Murat was involved. Not as the killer but as an accessory after the fact. Also, to digress slightly, does anyone believe that the British police will do the necessary with this crowd of b……s? They are so perverted now by pc crap and political pressure that I can’t see them being sufficiently focused,tough and free to crack these nuts.
