842 — If KM was the one who was there when Madeleine died, she’d have more to actually lie about than GM would. Plus, I think the cops probably leaned harder on KM because she seems much more fragile — therefore, more likely to crack — than GM. (I think GM will never crack because he has no conscience, so the cops may have not wanted to reveal (via questioning) how much they knew at that time. )

Yes, I already described that before. The man in the sunglasses was at the play area with his own child who is climbing in the plastic castle. What’s wrong with that? I see a child in there - not a man aiming a camera. That bloke was staying at Ocean Club as well. The play area is in Ocean Club by the pool and as we know, you have to be staying there to gain admission. To think anyone in Ocean Club was covertly filming from 4 feet away while Kate took a photo of Gerry is about the daftest thing I’ve read. I’m not surprised that theory is linked to a bloke who “dreams” the future.
Hang on…let me get my dowsing rods and dangle them over the photos for clues! lol

831 Pink Panther , yes life has to go on after a child is “kidnapped/abducted/taken against her will by a stranger” …. however I fail to see the relevance here. Nothing, but nothing points to any of these scenarios! They thought they had it planned down to “closing Pandora’s box” after a few weeks, but they’ve received a reality awakening haven’t they?
I for one, will fight tooth and nail to ensure that SOMETHING is done to honour the memory of that small child who trusted the only people she knew in her life ….. her own parents!
Believe me, I have a boulder in my garden, and if I could get a crane to fling it far enough in their direction I would! Never mind the piddly little stones that people keep on accussing us of flinging ….. there’s a bigger one on its way!

819 — I don’t think Kate’s being the one to discover Madeleine missing is why the PJ suspect her over GM as the main person. I think the PJ assume that KM and GM are united in the coverup. I agree that the police have something such as tapped calls that leads them to think KM was with Madeleine. Plus, I think the timeline leaves KM with longer gaps of time with the children.

Stevo, 825 Some do, particularly younger children. There are a lot of teddies out there named Ted or Teddy! Children don’t necessarily invent an imaginative name for each doll or toy animal, even their favourites.

I agree that that particular thing was irresponsible. As I don’t know their general parenting pattern, I can’t say. Few of us (apart from some Anorak posters maybe), can say they have never made a bad mistake in their lives or never, ever done anything wrong or anything they bitterly regretted. Few will have lifelong regrets as bitter as these people, if they are innocent of anything more.
To know that we await the results of the police investigation.

Clearly you have no experience of Turner’s Syndrome and the height/growth differences attributed to that disorder. That’s ok. I agree with you that people grow at different rates. If you haven’t got experience of the degree of growth problems I’ve talked about that’s ok - if you don’t know you don’t know.

Michael – Sorry you feel that way, but have to say that what you claim has not been my experience. I’ve only been visiting this forum for the past two, maybe three, weeks. In the time I have been here I’ve encountered plenty of folk for whom the McCann’s innocence is almost like an article of blind faith. None of them have been evicted or had their posts removed, though I’ll grant you there may be others here who wish they could/would. Where I’ve seen the Mods and Admin take actions is when unnecessary personal attacks are traded.
