Sorry my 1307 was to answer 1303 .
I didn’t want to believe that the Mcs were guilty. I like the stranger abductor better. No one wants to believe this, not really, the poor child’s missing and now her parents did it. But it is difficult for me to keep on with my theory of the stranger abductor in the face of the parent’s odd behavior.
And someone pointed out to me, that we can’t judge them by our standards. They don’t feel the same way, like the Ramsey’s. Too cold, behavior too odd, hiding something, and we guess and suspect, and then what? Without a body maybe nothing!
Jon Benet’s body was found and still nothing came of it.

GOD DAMN IT PEOPLE!!!!!Will you please stop sucking me into this God forsaken forum. Do you people know how fucking far behind I am in my books, I’ve verging on being late filing my taxes. I was suppose to send them out today, but I didn’t get it done. If this case doesn’t end soon, I might as well plan for a new line of work. I always somehow end up on this site as much as I tell myself not to. There better be a damn good book written because I think I will have lots of time to read it.

If Madeleine really had an accident, surely it would take a complete lunatic to store her in a freezer for weeks, dispose of her body and then go visit the Pope the day after that? And all this without breaking down?

Self-centered people can and do know how to protect themselves - it’s an instinct or so I would think. And they aren’t doing a good job of it. Kate is obviously disturbed and probably medicated and her husband more calculating.
They simply think their lies cannot be “seen” through…..it’s true.

What do you mean by convenient? There are two reports, one written by journalists on location in PDL in May. The other is contemporary and by Journalists in the UK. I find the first to be more credible. It is just my opinion, to which I am entitled.
If you consider a UK based Journalist writing at the present time to be more credible, you are perfectly entitled to your opinion.
I have no links to the McCanns or any entity acting on their behalf.
Why there is a disparity, I have no idea - no wait, yes I do - journalistic laziness, just like the nonsense surrounding the supposedly wiped CCTV footage from the service station in Morocco.
I think the photofit is aimed at jogging memories, hoping that other possible witnesses will come forward. I think this is an expression of the statement the McCanns made a week or so ago about them now being prepared to speak out, despite the strictures on them remaining silent. I think this is a gesture of defiance.

As you say, Clarence will be able to walk away saying that he had been duped. He quite often states he has information that he can not divulge when he answers questions. Surely the PJ should interview him and ask him exactly what this information is or he should say that the PJ already have these facts.

DRAWING is WORTH A THOUSAND Words
The artist rendering of the supposed culprit seen by Jane Tanner is holding a dead or comatose child with the legs fitting Madeleine’s age/size. A normal 4 year old child would be in a somewhat upright position, but this one is obviously gone limp.
Looks more like the Frankenstein monster stereotype, not a normal father walking down the street. And they well know that, yet they insist Madeleine is alive somewhere. Kate will not admit to possible death with respect to Madeleine, as long as they are prime suspects.
If you suspect they are guilty, this indicates that McCann camp are well aware that Madeleine’s DNA indicates death, and they must try to throw out a red herring at this point.
Tapas connections? Jane Tanner was the witness that gave testimony for the drawing, but I do not believe she saw this at all. Or she would have come forward with more information before now, because this is clearly a depiction of an unconscious child fitting Madeleine’s age group. She will be a prime Tapas to be interviewed because she has offered this drawing from her memory. I would also say that Jane Tanner must now account for all her time from 7:00 onward as well, and explain in detail her own child’s illness at the same time of the crime.
Kate as of yesterday’s video insists that all is good with her because Madeleine is alive and well, and growing up in Spain. All they need is to get her back. She hasn’t commented on the drawing yet or mentioned whether she’d seen this man watching her or her child on the beach.
When people show you who they are, believe them.

1247 — I don’t believe anyone who is well-connected would go to bat anymore for Gerry McCann if Kate McCann admits any involvement in Madeleine’s death. Whatever Gordon Brown’s political motivations for interceding on the McCanns’ behalf initially, he almost certainly assumed the McCanns were innocent. Brown et al will not try to help Gerry McCann. They will just say that they, too, were duped by the McCanns. The way Gerry McCann dismisses Clarence Mitchell’s advice — I think we can assume that Gerry’s ego is behind the disasterous P.R. misteps of the past week — will not endear GM to whoever is paying Mitchell’s bill. Gerry McCann is so clearly the dominant one in the marriage that no one will believe that Kate McCann alone initiated the coverup and kept it going.

That depends how things go. I’d hope, if they are guilty or not, it would go to help other people. But if they aren’t guilty, they still don’t have to give any of the money to other children’s cases (in fact, finding her body, the people who kidnapped her, and supporting the family are the first three and giving the money to other kids is a bit of a conditional clause; but that can be changed at any time if they want). If they are guilty, people who have to decided to try and give all of the money back (which would cost a lot-tracking people down) or to donate the bulk of the money to some other children’s charity.

Maddie died in the apartment, and maybe too like Stevo believes, the day before. Maybe it was just Gerry and he paid someone to take the body away - and these people were seen. That makes sense too!
And maybe they got Maddie’s clothes back and that’s what the dog’s picked up on. The PJ’s she wore that night.

Well, I can no longer believe that they are innocent. I wanted to. I really did. But not anymore. They just act too “odd” and there’s no way of getting around it. No way, not even when I try.
As to the fund, it can be used to help other missing children. That’s a good and worthy use.
