Thank you for that information. It turns out I had read most of Pat’s posts already–she hadn’t gone into much detail about the Ramsey case in them, but post 777 by Remigius gave me information I didn’t know (or had forgotten) about it being Mr. Ramsey finding Jon Benet’s body in the basement, quickly after the police did a search and didn’t find it in the remote area of the basement. If true, very telling!
Thanks for the clue on using Ctrl F — that’s how I found post 777 (Find ‘Ramsey’)–I’ll be saving myself a lot of time in the future, I think.

How dark was it? Maybe she just had a sense of the man she saw carrying the child and later it became clearer and then she thought it was Murat when she met him face to face. As the images came back into her mind or became clearer.
I don’t think it odd not to remember details but to remember something general.

OK, so the next thing to wait for is Kate to make a direct appeal to Madeleine on telly…
You know the sort of thing:
“Madeleine, wherever you are, if you can hear us, we love you! We’re looking for you…” etc etc etc.
The sort of thing that would have been believed, had it not appeared to be the response to comments of insignificant people on insignificant forums such as Anorak.
Things I’d like to see: Comical Clarrie spinning out of control…

Well The Moroccans have kicked out a man who was offering good money for info from staff at a Service station in Morocco.
The McCanns have set up a hotline in Spain because they have some indications she might be there - here are the only teasers I can find:
“Their TV interviewer Roberto Arce revealed afterwards that the parents believe Madeleine is in Spain and that there are “important clues” to that effect.”
and this:
” because of sightings of the little girl nearby and because they believe, according to heir spokesman, Clarence Mitchell, it is where Madeleine is “most likely to be”.
A source close to the family added that the Portuguese judicial police have received additional information from the area, though have not shared the details with the McCanns or their lawyers because of privacy laws.”

An excellent summary of the Spanish TV interview. I couldn’t help but look at her trainers. What do these signify I wonder? I daren’t use the word ‘inappropriate’ as I used it yesterday and it didn’t go down well. Maybe I’m old fashioned as far as suitable dress is concerned but dirty trainers when you’re ‘grief stricken’ about your child look out of place to me.
However, I thought two other things were interesting: at the start of the interview she began to shake her legs and drum the fingers of her right hand on his hand, and the comment “I think she (Madeleine) is being held in someone’s house..I don’t know why” was extremely odd. Why should she think this if she doesn’t know why she thinks it? Is this another instruction from the McCann?Good to know what you think.

I’m in the process of uploading the Antena 3 programme “360 degrees” that followed the McCann interview. The programme discusses the interview and the case in front of a live studio audience. They have a phone/txt in about the McCanns (which I believe someone mentioned earlier). The programme also shows what happened after the interview and it looks to me as though Mrs McCann does cry quite a bit and - a person who I think is Mr Mitchell - comes from behind the cameras to comfort her.
There are video pieces showing the PJ at work, the apartment and other things including the car.
Sorry it is taking so long but it has taken me forever to try and convert the file, make it a decent size and find somewhere to upload it to. I just hope that Veoh.com don’t reject it on copyright grounds. I’ll have to wait and see.
I’ll post the address as soon as it’s done.

Kate is clearly just going along with what Gerry wants in all of this. Maybe he has convinced her that she is crazy and knows nothing. It can happen. So she doubts herself and he feels like the big man.

Also - the photofit of a person without a face - great PR job!
However a witness liar will often spot someone in a dark alleyway and be vague about the details - often becoming clearer during an interview -
- hence - we have a man without a facial description carrying a bundle that later transforms into a man of certain origin carrying a girl wearing Maddies pyjamas.
- She even accused Murat face to face in an interview saying she knew it was him - yet now this person has a different ethnic origin???? Did she see his face or not?
- notice two strange things here;
1. Never have I come across a witness description without a face - how did she know he was human? Did he have 2 eyes, a nose and a mouth? Was his face in view or was it buried in the blanket? If it was in view there would be a vague description.
2. Remembering colours in the dark such as purple is difficult - there would be a vagueness about the true colour - colours change in the dark. Remebering the colour of his face but no facial description - such as beard or no beard is very unusual.
- conclusion - I would change doctors if she were my GP!

See we have had visits from a professional profiler today,her refusal to answer any questions directly put makes me wonder if she is already in the employ of the McC’s PR machine,I thought her very patronising and evasive.

Trismegistus, that was sweet of you. I wasn’t really upset though (didn’t convey that well). I’ll admit that pointing out crosshatching is a bit…off, so I couldn’t really get upset about that. But thank you for apologizing when you thought I was offended. Sorry I didn’t convey myself clearly, things move quite fast here. Plus, if we were ever really upset with one another, I think we should just blame Ian. Make him draw us a pacifying picture or something?

Lol. A huge mistake? It was no mistake, it was a decision. Two 39 year old doctors took a joint decision to wilfully break the law (British and Portuguese) by going out on the razz leaving their three young children alone, with disastrous consequences (the full extent of which we may never know) for their eldest daughter.
Do you really think ‘composed’ is a good look under such circumstances?

I think it’s a great drawing, expressing ideas shared by many on this forum. It would take a thousand words to adequately describe it.
My comments were meant to be complimentary. I don’t notice fine detail, only the overall effect– so if not for you I wouldn’t have noticed the technical skill shown by the crosshatching. But I wasn’t meaning to take the mickey out of the artist or reviewer.

I don’t know what exactly makes me come to a conclusion about someone - it is instinct - and usually the way someone is acting or something they have said. I know the answers in my unconcious brain but cannot always put words to it.
Just going on the interview these are the things I remember about it off the top of my head; (soory its so long)
- Kate is not showing the emotions of someone about to burst into a flood of tears. I was waiting for this moment to happen as the headline said she did - but there was no moment of shrugging shoulders, uncontrolled tears or emotions.
- Gerrys hand is being held by her and it is a premeditated pose - he gives her signals with his hand when he wants her to talk, try to cry or shut up - she is his puppet.
he is very much in control of her and she is afraid of him - he has some sort of hold over her - maybe he has told her to do exactly as he says and he will get her out of this one.
- Kate uses the same phrase in earlier interviews ‘ I think that or I know that’ then she corrects herself and says ‘ I mean We think that’ or ‘I mean We know that’ - as if she is remembering that she has to act like a team with Gerry.
- Her eyes shift to the left when answering questions - almost as if reading an autoque - this is her searching her memory for the rehearsed answers. Liars do this.
- Gerry makes too much eye contact as if trying to get acknowlegment. Liars do this.
- If Kate had just had Botox Treatment I would say she was trying hard to show emotion despite her face being numb and her facial muscles not working - but as far as I know she has not had Botox so this would mean she has a naturally emotionless response to questions about Madeleine. There is no animation - surely you cannot say this makes her guilty of something? - Well when was the last time you met someone who had a face with no emotions, sitting so very still and uncomfortable - are you friends with this person? Do you trust them? Or is there something about them that makes you nervous? Is it because you cannot ‘read’ their face? This is what a Botox face and a Kate face have in common.
- Gerry looks almost as if he is protecting his penis with his hand - a very defensive stance - the anger and protection for Kate is etched all over his face.This couple are not there to make a plea for their daughter - they are there to make a plea for Kate and Gerry.
- Notice how the emotions do come easier and her eyes well up with tears when the interviewer mentions her being a suspect or asks them about sedating their children. This is the most emotion we see in the interview and it is for Kate - not Maddie.
- No plea is given looking directly at the camera and no message of hope or love directly to their daughter.
- When Kate looks directly at the interviewer she is telling the truth - notice how only does this when describing her daughter and her love for her.
- Notice how Gerry often shakes his head to say ‘NO’ when answering ‘YES’ to a question. Notice what question he is answering when he does this. This is what liars do - this gives their real emotions away. It also works if they nodd their head to say ‘YES’ when answering ‘NO’.
- When mentioning sedatives they are caught off guard - heavy breathing by Kate may be mistaken for being upset - but remember that a liars blood pressure rises, they sweat and their heart beats faster - they breathe more heavily and their mouth goes dry - notice how Kate swallows hard often. Could be nerves - or could be signs of lying.
- Gerry says he did not sedate Maddie then corrects himself to also add all the children in the statement. Why mention this? Because it reaks of a rehearsed answer.
- Supposedly Gerry tells Kate not to say anything else until her microphone is removed at the end of the interview - why? Someone who is telling the truth has nothing to hide and would be at ease knowing that they could not say anything of consequence.
- Conclusion - I would not put forward Kate’s CV for a childminder job.

I truly don’t want the McCanns to be guilty of this mishap with Maddie. They will always be guilty of child neglect and endangerment in most of our eyes, and maybe tomorrow some new evidence will come to light that will point us in another direction.
Their interviews are so “squirrelly” and their explanations so strange that it is really difficult to give them the benefit of the doubt. But tomorrow is another day, and who knows what little tidbit will come to light….more food for thought.

If they rubbish the DNA for them how will it impact on the alleged DNA in Murat’s house? rubbish as well? And how will it impact on the multitude of other crimes which have been and will be committed where DNA evidence is so crucial? I hope that tons of people start creating hell in the future if this farce continues, and reject DNA evidence totally as a means of pinning anything on them quoting the McScams.
