Clarence was the one who told the McCanns that the police were bugging them - which caused Clarence’s resignation -as he upset the police a little bit!
The jogging was a tool for talking without being bugged - however the occasional stops to look out to sea and smile are worrying!

What good can it bring to the McCanns?????Well its rather like a child saying ’see I told you I was telling the truth and this is my evidence’ - only there is no evidence.
What is strange is how the McCanns said just before the photofitwithoutafacetophotofit came out in the press that their friends would clear their names.
This is all about a PR stunt to get rid of their suspect status and nothing else.
Gerry is the puppetteer and is pulling the strings of Kate and their friends - he requested - they obliged.
And how quiet did Clarence go when he told the press the wrong thing - he upset Gerry and boy did he act like he has had a telling off by his boss!
Don’t underestimate Gerry’s role in this;
In his words ‘ we are in this together’.

Both of our children were asleep by 7.15 PM this evening, as they are most evenings. And no, no sedatives in use here either..
That said…. You can NEVER tell when they might wake up, they rarely do, but it does happen occasionally. As I think of it, possibly a little more likely that they may wake up whilst on holiday.. strange place. Etc, etc. So, I agree with the second part of your post about just not being able to take the risk. I don’t disagree that they may have been sedated, but I think this is largely speculation based upon media “sources”. I just don’t think any of us have any real evidence to support the suggestion that they did, or didn’t.

These people allegedly left young children unattended on successive nights. That is a high risk parenting strategy. In fact, it’s so high risk/displays such a lack of concern for their children’s well being that I frankly have problems believing it and wonder if the whole thing isn’t an elaborate fabrication to hide more sinister behaviour. As a parent myself I so desperately WANT to believe these people are completely innocent. However, their inability to admit any fallibility in the McCann’s Baby Listening Service (McBaLS ™ ), worse they and their apologists/supporters continually try to justify their actions in this respect, leaves me highly suspicious as to their involvement in Madeleine’s disappearance.

- I also note how she tries hard to convince us she is ‘posh’ when she is not - her accent reveals a more common tone sometimes. This may be how she has always been if she has moved from a common area to a posh one - however it may well be a ‘put on’ accent to get more votes.
I notice her mother also does the same thing - using ‘ one does this or that’ instead of ‘ I’ - not all the time - just occasionaly when she remembers - this is why some people have suggested delusion of grandeur - they picked up on this sub-consciously.
As for answering the PJ’s questions - Who do you think keeps popping in the unexpected ’sedation question’ into interviews???? …….LOL LOL LOL

If Pat Brown is a professional profiler she isn’t a very good one in my opinion.

The first myth is about Bobby Joe Leonard, now serving a life sentence in Virginia. He was covicted of the kidnapping, rape, and attempted murder of one person. He was a suspect in another murder but never brought to trial.
As she herself says, a serial killer has a minimum of three dead victims, so how can a person who has never been convicted of killing anyone be a serial killer.
She can best be describe as the rebel profiler because she goes against the accepted norms.

1399 - Judith c - Yes well noted - she fidgets a lot at the start of the interview and even bangs legs with Gerry.
This could be due to nerves - but notice how she scratches her head when she says she feels lonely- suggesting a lie!
This is like watching a child trying to remember their lines for a stage play.
Obviously they would have rehearsed the answers - but surely the answers would be there naturally - she seems to have trouble getting them out - as if it was a made up story rather than a memory.

I don’t think their trainers were necessarily dirty, that may just be an impression due to them being khaki coloured. I think them wearing them was at the suggestion of a media person. I know from first hand experience how the media can try and influence waht people do in order to get the ‘effect’ they are after.

It’s hard to believe she has a ‘feeling’ about anything. She comes across as completely brass necked, hard-nosed and acting (not very well). As for the ‘effect’ of her trainers. What effect did they create do you think? That Mrs. M is ready to leap up off the sofa when the interview’s done and jog off down the street? Yes, I can imagine both of them doing that, after they’d got the ’sobbing’ recorded, of course.

Think about this - I know you all have but I’m going to say it again anyway before I check out: The McCs insist they didn’t sedate their children - another furious reaction was shown to this question on Spanish TV. Yet, if they didn’t sedate them then it means they managed to get three very small children to sleep all at the same time on the evening of May 3rd in order for them to go out to the Tapas Bar, and they were confident that the three small children would not wake up five minutes, ten minutes, a quarter of an hour after they’d gone and do harm to themselves, come looking for them, or whatever.
No parent, child minder, one celled brain fool or doctor could possibly think this so my view is that they did indeed sedate them and this is precisely why they constantly refuse to answer the question because they’re not good enough actors to answer and look like they’re not lying.
