Was the Spanish interview in England?
October 26th, 2007 at 12:39 am
Bob,
Basically, I reckon KM is gearing up for a very convenient nervous breakdown and I was making the point that anyone can fake that sort of thing by making one or two small adjustments to one’s appearance and adopting a few strange mannerisms.
Judith C previously commented that KM’s trainers seemed an odd choice for the Spanish TV interview, and I was just commenting that that fitted in well with my breakdown theory.
Sarcasm really, like my tapas comment. I’m tired and getting spiteful. Time to go!

Correction to my post 1511: My belief is that O’Brien is relied upon to take charge of disposing of the body and does so without any of the others knowing except for his partner Jane Tanner, Kate and Madeleine.
I meant to say ‘Gerry’ and not Madeleine although of course poor Madeleine knows what has happened to her. She doesn’t understand why but she knows.

Why?

I think it’s always been reported the door was unlocked.
Haven’t read anything about Kate McCann wearing the wrong shoes.
I have read that she doesn’t cry enough and doesn’t have big
breasts.
October 26th, 2007 at 12:37 am
Butterfly I was under the impression that every one was enthralled by Pat Browns posts and her aciberic wit,all except one from the posts that I have read and in my opinion he came out best.

My grandmother always said that you could tell about someone by their footwear. She married a deep sea diver.

Bob, the shoe thing concerns them wearing hiking type shoes (I didn’t think they looked like jogging shoes? Maybe they were). To an interview at one point. I don’t think it means anything, but others find it significant.

Wanderer, the sands were shifting but now the picture is 100% clear. Peter O, feasible for one person to put a 3 year old in a car and drive, and if the prosecutor and judge “accept” it as feasible then end of story. If WE don’t believe it, nothing we can do.
Definitely good night now, you’ve all been very polite this evening.

Stig, I posted this awhile ago and I’m sure it is old news to you now. But in response to this bit of yours:
“There are logical problems also. Kate trained as an anaesthetist. This might sound silly but I think an anaesthetist would be one of the least likely of people to ever sedate their child for the sake of convenience. Even if they were to, such a person is also LEAST likely to use a strong sedative or get the dosage that wrong. I have seen an expert opinion that it would be very difficult to persuade a child to consume enough oral sedative to constitute a lethal dose. If you want to get really loopy and start talking about intravenously administered sedatives - I would sooner believe in fairies at the bottom of my garden.”
I don’t buy that at all, as I’ve said, doctors specializing in anesthesiology are four times more likely to come down with an addiction. There are cases of them “self-medicating” in the operating room as well (because they couldn’t stand being without it so long due to the addiction). So to think such training automatically makes someone a more responsible parent or a more informed, sensible person where drugs are concerned. Well, I don’t agree with that.
Also, pharmacies have those flavor things now, where they can make children’s medicine taste a certain way. Anyway, none of this makes Kate an addict or anything, I just won’t put them on a pedestal because of work qualifications.

1497 - Bob - No one claimed the door was unlocked. Gerry aditted it to the world in an interview for the BBC.

1093.
Carmen, If a child ingested cocaine in one dosage it would very likely kill them. Even an adult can be killed by consuming too much cocaine in a short period of time.
Although it is possible Kate or Gerry were careless with their ‘party’ supplies and Madeleine accidentally ate their coke my thoughts have always been what if they were recreational drug users and from the nightly drinking and taking cocaine were on edge and easily annoyed more and more with each consecutive night they went out? Maybe Madeleine was crying because she didn’t want to be left alone or she was awake when she was checked on and Gerry or Kate in their poor state of mind accidentally killed her by shaking her too hard or something like that?
Or another theory I have is that the parents go out every night partying and they leave Madeleine alone with the twins. Madeleine is scared each night more and more. She is disoriented because she is crying for her parents and she is unfamiliar with the apartment. She tries to leave the apartment to look for them and falls down the steps or falls out the window and dies instantly of a broken neck. On one of their child checks one of the Tapas 9 finds Madeleine. The entire group is not in on what has happened. My belief is that O’Brien is relied upon to take charge of disposing of the body and does so without any of the others knowing except for his partner Jane Tanner, Kate and Madeleine.
In my opinion, Kate does not have a strong personality but easily goes along with the opinions and actions of others. This is common in some people with NPD. Because their desire is to be popular at all costs they will do anything to be accepted and liked. Plus it isn’t difficult for her to place herself before her children’s needs especially when Gerry and friends condone the operation. She did this when agreeing to the groups foolish ‘babysitting’ from 200 yards away system and again with plans to dispose of the body and pretend there was an abduction when Madeleine was found dead. The four of them (K, G, Russell and Jane) made a pact of silence - the others are going along for similar reasons of their own even though they do not have full knowledge of exactly what happened that evening.
It was basically desperate measures taken by selfish desperate people who didn’t want to see their careers or upper middle class lifestyles destroyed due to their negligence (all of them committed gross negligence in the welfare of a child when they left their children alone without supervision imo). They’ve convinced themselves that what they did was for the good of their well respected vocations and their desperate actions were necessary to preserve their finances and their families and keep them intact.
I don’t believe either Kate or Gerry is sincerely religious and don’t believe they would be motivated or disuaded by anything based on RC law. Their actions have always been based on self preservation of their image and career status. And also ensuring that their savings would not be touched or even dipped into hence the fund. Their inability to use their own money towards anything for getting Madeleine back is extremely suspicious regardless of the fact that the donations were not at first initiated by the Mcs. When they started receiving donations they could have held a press confesrence and thanked those who have sent them money but requested that they send their money to a well established missing child and exploited children’s charitable foundation. Instead what they saw was a way to actually profit and make themselves look like victims, like martyrs in this way taking more attention away from Madeleine and deflecting any possible criticism of themselves.
They have successfully created a martyr/victim aura around themselves. This has made any critical observations of them almost nil in the media with the exception of US, German and Portoguese asking a few hard hitting questions - the British media has not. With their ability to charm people by pretending to be martyrs they managed to get very high profile people to do their bidding. It started with John Buck the British ambassador putting pressure on a questioning PJ to focus solely on abduction by stranger theory. Then Justine McGuinness as their first PR rep and attracting billionaires and celebrities to their ’cause’. But all that they money has doen for them is create a cottage industry with Madeleine as their paper doll mascot. They haven’t really used the money to search for her as a normal healthy anxious couple with a legitimately missing child would do and often do with their own meagre savings and without all the media hype the McCanns have created. Instead, the McCanns have dishonoured their daughter’s image and have profitted greatly from it to their own advantage.

I believe that they initially said the door was locked but then changed their story to it being unlocked. A bit like when the they said there had been been a break-in.

Bob, maybe you’ve been looking at it too long. It does make sense.
“They not only left them alone they left the door unlocked. They can’t claim that the door was unlocked so that if an emergency arose they could get out because they were too small and weak to open a heavy patio door.”
They left the children alone. On top of that, they left the door unlocked.
Why leave the door unlocked? An emergency? No, that couldn’t be, as the little documentary showed Madeleine probably wasn’t big enough to open the door by herself (even if it was unlocked).
October 26th, 2007 at 12:28 am
The criminal profiler Pat Brown has missed a main point in her argument.
Suggesting that Kate has convinced herself that Maddie is unharmed and not being abused by whoever took her sounds comvincing as to why she has a lack of emotions - she suggests it is because she is not worried as she knows she is safe.
Yet the McCanns have visited all sorts of people who deal with paedeophile rings as part of their campaign.
They would know exactly what may have happened to Maddie.
If she was that deluded into believing her child is safe she should have her remaining children taken into care - if she has not let those thoughts cross her mind - why did she say on National TV that they have?
Sorry Pat - too good to be true - and if they are truly a pair of deluded doctors who have probably seen child abuse in the flesh have not visualised that something bad may have happened to their daughter by now - they are headed for the loony bin!
October 26th, 2007 at 12:28 am
Judge.
Someone already claimed it was unlocked.

“They can’t claim that the door was unlocked so that if an emergency arose they could get out because they were too small and weak to open a heavy patio door.”
Read it as
They (the Mccanns) can’t claim that the door was unlocked so that if an emergency arose they (the children) could get out because they (the children), were too small and weak to open a heavy patio door.
