I’ve enjoyed reading your posts. I admit I didn’t read all your postings today so just commented on the ransom/reward thing without having understood your original point.
You’re right though. What parent wouldn’t want to post a reward from themselves and do interviews to alert people to this fact? I mean…the fund itself could be used for this purpose couldn’t it?
I’d be interested to get your views on why there’s a complete absence of information about Madeleine on the official site. There is a link but curiously it only tells us her age and then goes off to describe her other family members. The only other information about Madeleine is on the official PJ site where they tell us she has a mark on her leg and her height.

Perhaps if they were all charged for child neglect/abandonment, they would start to crack. They could be grilled on oath about how long the children were left for, how often checked on. It would be good to see ‘em squirm and give them a taste of what is to come. Maybe one of them would crack? They should have all been questioned separately at the start, before they had a chnce to compare stories. I, for one, would like to see the lot of them charged with what we know they did.

Why would Murat do that for them? For all I know, he could be evil enough, but what about payment? Anybody evil enough to do such a thing would want big money. As an estate agent, Murat will be able to smell money a mile off and the McCanns are just not in that financial league. He would know that.

Having watched the interview I am now even more determined to knock seven shades of sh1t out of GM if the opportunity should ever present itself. Talk about a smug w@nker, he is totally like the cat that got the cream, his whole demeanour is of a man who has committed a crime but knows there’s a good chance he’s going to get away with it.

GM is definitely hiding soemthing. It is written all over his face. I cannot believe that people/press are falling for this charade. It’s agonising waiting for something substantial to happen in this case. i wish there was a big breakthrough soon I gotta do some bloody work!

Looking at the video with Gerry sneakily talking to Kate near the end, did you see the look on his face?
I did see a small quivery chin reaction from Kate in that interview but it was when she was talking about the twins talking about Madeleine. That’s understandable because it’s a third party reaction. That just shows me that the reactions of Kate are fake because if she can show emotion in that circumstance then why not when she’s talking about her own interaction with Madeleine. I hope that makes sense…

Exactly! Either the McCanns have total idiots for a PR team and they are following their advice (totally naive and not too intelligent), or they won’t listen to a PR team with good advice (arrogant and narcissistic) , or they are unable to understand the advice (narcissistic - not understanding how nonnarcissists in the world actually feel, think, and behave so the advice makes no sense to them) or, they are refusing the advice because they have their own agenda (guilty and narcissistic),
I am guessing the McCanns would go with the first option if questioned and they had to answer (although I think Gerry would fight the lack of intellegence part).

The focus on Spain infers that the Mccanns disposed of her in Spain, she willl be found in Spain, they are preparing the ground so they can say, ‘you see? We told you abducted to Spain’ instead of ‘Renault Scenic and driven by them to Spain’
However, I think Murat disposed of the body, their instructions.

It would be convenient if katiepoos did top herself. She’s a bloody liability now. Of course she doesn’t have to do it herself. It can be arranged (David kelly, Robin Cook…). A very neat solution nevertheless…

I, for one, am furious that these vile people are not being prosecuted for child negelect. I am sick of parents always fiding someone to blame. The papers are slating the Portugese for not having lifeguards on beaches in Oct. I’ve just returned from Cornwall. Crantock beach had no lifeguards and many children in very rough seas. Talk of Mark Warner site being ‘dangerous’. And so on. The McCanns refuse totally to accept any blame with statements that the abductors (if there are any!) are the people to blame. As parents, we have the lives of babies in our hands and we must take the responsiblity of these lives very seriously. I ache for just me whose child died in a freak accident. The McCann’s whoever, abandoned their babies, whether or not they actually killed Madeleine (IMO they did kill her) and we should send out a very clear message that this is not acceptable. Whether you are poor, rich, black, white, working, unemployed and so on. It is NOT acceptable. They are trashing Madeleine’s memory and I pray that they are made to pay for this. The parents of the children who got into trouble in the sea died for their kids. I would die for my children and most of the people on this forum would die for their kids. The McCanns can’t even shed a tear for Madeleine. We are trying to work out what happened to her based on our own reactions etc. This holier than thou pair of bastards are not like us. Make them pay NOW for what we actually know they did. They abandoned their babies. I hope they pay later for her death.

Well, she wasnt abducted.
But maybe O’Brien said he’d sort it and it was he who sub contracted Murat for the job.
So Gerry didnt know who did the work - maybe Kate was involved because she had sexual relations with O’Brien and thats how she had Maddie (Gerry’s sperm wasnt viable) so O’Brien was sorting it for her?
Well, whichever, Im still convinced…dead in apartment, Mccanns involved (maybe Kate), O’Brien involved somehow and using Murat.

The thing is that they’ve never done anything normal like having Gerry’s brother or the priest be the spokesman. Either before Clarence arrived or afterwards. Everything’s been on a huge scale since the very beginning. I mean, if they really didn’t know what had happened to her, she could easily have turned up in the first few days - somebody from the resort could have been holding her, she could have wandered off and been found be someone who kept her to teach them a lesson - anything really. Personally, I think she somehow died when she was with one of them. I have no idea who disposed of the body. But, if that is the case, why didn’t they just allow the whole thing to die down while they could.

I wouldn’t, but I know some antihistamines (Vallergan, for instance) would knock out a child for 8 hours.

A clear idnication I beleive that Madelein was in fact sedated. Also the use of a new word,’drugged’ - interesting - would a doctor say ‘drugged’?

I think for them to be able to say repeatedly that they do not know who has taken her,
then that would have to be true. I think they do not know.
Gerry has said he is absolutely certain that no evidence will be found to implicate him.
I think he must believe this, or else he would have chosen other words.
