I totally agree that the McCanns think in a totally different way to most people. They don’t appear to have half a clue about what sounds normal or is normal therefore, despite any efforts by Clarence etc to teach them a few tricks for the TV, they are totally unable to present themselves as caring honest people.
Looking on some other sites this morning, eg Times On-Line, I am totally sickened by the opinions expressed - that the McCanns are compassionate grieving people. I agree that they don’t look too good, but probably with the fear of prison they don’t actually feel like tennis lessons any more. I wonder how the jogging’s going.
If I was Clarence, I think I would begin some damage limitation on myself straightaway, namely by getting out before getting dragged further down. He’s probably regretting changing career by now. Oh, for the good old days with the BBC!!!
I’m beginning to feel bad about my own feelings towards them - they just give bad vibes. I think it began when they started SELLING wristbands so we could help them in their ?search.

I hadn’t heard that Gerry said that before. My faith was unsettled when Kate was taken into questioning. Gerry said on his blog that Kate was there a long time, but that she was not there longer than him on previous occasions. Next day Kate was declared a suspect. Either they don’t talk to each other, or gerry was trying to show the public something of a good image but not the real situation. Since then I have not trusted him.

Comments made by GM upset your theory that people wouldn’t help him for money or otherwise. GM’s exact words were, “it was time to call in some favors.”
Even if only a fatal accident and sedation were involved, the children would have been taken away from the McCann’s. There is no question about this. Had they been truthful, it would probably be behind then by now. That is, unless the autopsy showed sexual abuse.
The desire to keep their family intact is what I think is driving them on. Somewhere along the way truth was sacrificed for family and as Catholics, they should know that truth comes before family.

625 Stevo - The THird Way is the rational and obvious explanation to what happened to Madeleine McCann.
It’s called the Third Way because it does not believe in shortcomings in the police investigation, but it does not believe that the McCanns killed Madeleine either.
The Third Way is based on observed behaviours and confirmed facts (mostly from the few public appearances of the PJs and the many confirmed out-of-the-norm behaviours of the McCanns during interviews, before and after Madeleine’s disappearance).
A cold, distant and unbiased analysis of the data and consideration of probabilities shows that the McCanns unconventional relationships with others in their circle of friends has led to the disappearance of MAdeleine. They know what happened but they cannot say it because that would uncover the unconventional nature of the McCanns relationship with the others in the group. However, the McCanns know what happened, the PJ knows what happened and are only playing with time before someone cracks and everything is out in the open.
This is the Third Way my friends - the only way. Resist not your instincts - the explanation for this case is simple and available to everyone. You seek other explanations because you understand that what really happened is very very very sinister.

I don’t think anyone apart from the perpetrator is going to get involved in any kind of murder or killing unless they are somehow woven into the situation and are somehow compelled to join in with it.
This is why I can’t see what Murat’s involvement could be if he was a collaborator.
I’ve thought of drugs but even then, if he supplied drugs to the McCanns and/or their friends, why would he get tied in to a body disposal scenario? Anyone would take the drug rap because it would be more lenient than anything involving the death of a child.

I copied this from the old thread, because IMO the subject has not been adequately addressed. Why is no one able to show us unequivocal and absolute proof that the “wealthy magnate” Brian Kennedy is NOT the ” Kates’ uncle, former headteacher” Brian Kennedy? Is it too difficult to prove this?

Previously, Kate’s uncle had been frequently quoted as “a family spokesman”. Now, there is NO MENTION of him. Why?
So… are YOU trying to remove doubt without providing any proof that they are different people? To use your words, are you “too lazy”? Or perhaps no such proof exists?

There’s also absolutely no way that any simple relationship of friendship would lead to keeping quiet and possibly assisting in the disposal of a body.
If Madeleine was not abducted (as Third Way apologists believe), she died in the bedroom and her body was later removed.
Either the parents (or one of them) did this alone - unlikely. Or he/she/they relied on someone’s assistance. That assistance cannot have been available for money or friendship. That assistance can only have been available because the consequences of breaking the vow of silence would be damning for everyone involved.
The Third Way is the only Way. Don’t try to circumvent the most obvious way by looking for other explanations. The simple explanation - the third way is the only way.

There is absolutely no way that Murat or anyone else in the Tapas group would agree to keep silent about a crime - let alone hide a body - for money. Especially in a relatively short time period (even assuming that MAdeleine died sometime in the afternoon and not in the evening).
There’s only 1 explanation for any individual or group of individuals to agree to a vote of silence and probably assisting in disposal of the body.
That explanation is the Third Way - the only way. You know it makes sense.

It seems not locgial for me to accuse the McCanns doing the whole PR stuff for narcistic reasons, and at the same time to criticise them that their actions are not helpful to reach their alleged objectionable target.

I would say, if the McCanns are guilty, the explanation for the over-the-top media blitz and quickness of it taking off with help of big people in power might be because they had a “Thou protestest too much” disease, or the “Overexplaining” disease, contracted out of fear of exposure. Even though it is counterintuitive to think guilty people would want to draw attention to themselves and keep that attention going, people who are narcissists often don’t recognize that their certain behavioral choices and cover-ups do more damage than good (as far as not getting caught). I think it is the mixture of arrogance (I am smarter than the cops), entitlement, and distorted world view that makes narcissists and psychopaths do stupid stuff like welcome the police to search their car with a rape kit in the trunk or get breast implants with your suspiciously dead husband’s insurance money as soon as it hits your palm. People like this just don’t get what they do raises eyebrows. When they are confronted, they just come up with another explanation that is just as questionable as the first. I asked one serial killer suspect why he threw his brand new jeans away after they got wet from crossing a river because it was getting dark and he was scared of walking down a jogging path(the story he told to explain why he did not take the direct path home which would have intersected him with the murder victim at that very time of day). He actually told me, with a straight face, “I don’t like the way jeans dry when you get them wet.” Huh? Doesn’t he ever wash his clothes? ::shakes head::HE thought it sounded plausible or thought I would buy it; that is a psychopath for you.
