You’re right barcabloo;when g says to k not to say anything until microphones are off is not shown on sky news. I mentioned here last night after the interview how g angry is . During the interview you can feel the pent-up anger, but on the aside to k…He gives me the creeps.
The reporter later said that the interview was almost called off, as he was instructed by their PR, to ask no questions, just insist on the new phone line in Spain, when he didn’t agree to this they threatened to pull out; however at the last minute Mitchell thought it wouldn’t look good and it went ahead. The reporter says they are assessed as to every word they say and PR were very much in evidence before and after the show.
There’s no way he could have asked what he wanted, all very controlled and they were assessed as to what was OK throughout

But Portia 641 - fear for taking the kids away from them would not justify assistance in disposal of a body and cover up. Let us all recognise that someone with some basic knowledge of the place must be involved in any disposal of a dead body.
The risk of being caught up and going to jail, would not make any of the McCanns friends agree to a cover up (especially having kids themselves).
The truth is sinister. The way…is the The Third Way. (happy with that catch phrase Diane?)

You make a very good observation. I went back to the site and you are very correct. There are pictures of Maddie, no videos, and the only information about Maddie is actually about her relatives! This is very weird.
It is coldly professional; like a marketed doll. Normally a family will write a whole history of the kid’s life - what they like to do, what they liked to eat, humorous stories, etc. Sometimes there is probably more than there should be and the tone is usually very sentimental and emotional. Madeleine is presented like a flat paper doll cut out of a book. She has no personality, no history, no life. She is just a picture of a girl who existed and exists no more. It reminds me of that great acting moment of Gene Wilder in “Willy Wonka” when he says with totally no affect (totally creepy) when a child gets close to danger, (and this is paraphrased because I can’t find the exact words…grrr), “Watch out, you could hurt yourself, ” but you clearly get he could care less or even worse, he secretly is salivating over the possibility of the child being injured.

Yep I agree it is absolutely essential for them to get away with it that the body is not found. But what about the twins? Is there some incriminating evidence that forensic examination would uncover of drugs or other abuse?

If you work by exclusion and take stock of probabilities, you will soon come to the conclusion that ALL other theories that have been examined are flawed.
1Abduction by paedo - flawed (Did you know there’s a higher probability of Crystal Palace winning the Champions league in 2008 than a child abductor walking around half empty holiday resorts in May, deciding to break into an apartment, sedating Madeleine and walking out again without being seen).
2 Abduction for revenge - flawed (Did you know that there’s a higher probability of mickey mouse growing tits than someone disgruntled having the nerve to travel to the algarve break into an apartment and walk out a holiday resort with a living 3 year old and keeping her for this long without being seen?)
3 Sale for Money - flawed (Did you know there’s a higher probability of Moira Stewart winning the 2008 Ms Universe challenge than someone accepting to buy a 3 year old who already speaks and is able to memorise, express herself etc.)
3 Sedation overdose - flawed (not saying that she was not sedated…just challenging the overdose bit) (Did you know that the probability of two british qualified doctors over-sedating their child and then covering it up with the help of friends is roughly equivalent to the Ferrari Formula 1 team forgetting to fill the fuel tank before the grand prix starts)
4 Death by accident due to sedation - flawed (Did you know that having a druged child knocking her head or throwing herself out of a window and not being seen by a passer by is just as plausible as remaining unnoticed while urinating in a swimming pool - without water).
5 Premeditated murder - flawed (Did you know that the probability of two middle-class educated parents murdering their daughter and then convincing their friends to cover-up for them is even lower than Britain ever winning the Eurovision song cont. in the comign 20 years).

I skimmed those posts yesterday but the bit I don’t get is how they investigate “internally”. I mean, the JW are not a police force are they? And, child sexual abuse is a major crime. I don’t get what the articles mean when they talk about investigating internally. How can criminals investigate each other?

I don’t agree that, because someone is Catholics, truth should come before family. If Madeleine was killed in a tragic accident, I would have some sympathy and take the view that no good purpose could be served by pursuing the McCanns and that, for the sake of the twins, the matter should be allowed to die a natural death. However, the case is too odd for this to be credible, IMO. I would have a certain respect for them if I felt that their whole motivation was for the purpose of keeping the family together. But I don’t feel that.

Yesterday someone named four of the people closest to Gerry McCann as members of Jehovah’s Witnesses. This has been brought up before but I didn’t really get the point until I googled pedophiles and Jehovah’s Witnesses. What I discovered is that the JW really is a paradise for pedophiles. Much more so than the Catholic Church has a reputation for being. Significantly, they handle pedophile cases internally and require two witnesses to a child rape to give testimony before finding anyone guilty. And even then, there is no jail time. Strange people to surround yourself with if you really have a problem with Portugal’s “haven for pedophiles” reputation.
If Maddie’s body is found, if there is enough left of it to show sexual abuse took place, then Kate was always right about that pedophile, wasn’t she?
