In the Spanish interview I had the impression Mr. Mccann is a dangerous lad. I thought about it:
It’s only an impression, but he seemed to me not dangerous as psychopatic but as a real criminal.
Yes I am living in Italy and this thoughts come naturally to me, but couldn’t T9 are involved in any other sinister things (I would esclude paedophiliae or other strange sexual behaviour), to make illegally money

I think Kate seems as detached as ever. She displays no emotion when talking about Madeleine. She does display some emotion when talking about what the twins said about Madeleine. I think this is because that’s in the third person and isn’t her direct feelings towards Madeleine. Plus, there’s no tears as per usual despite newspaper reports to the contrary.

Don’t they also have a PR chap in Portugal as well though? Thought it was his idea to do the Antena3 thing (!!). I am losing track of all of the McScams staff.
PR people, ex-SAS teams, Extradition Lawyer, Other big-wig lawyers, Portuguese lawyers, accountants handling the Fund, computer people to update the website, other company of censor the hotline…not to mention the domestics, eg. nannies.
And not one of them is any use when it comes to finding Madeleine.

Third Way.
I do not think sexual abuse or misconduct are necessarily elements of this case.
I have met many people who would think nothing of hiding an already dead body for 50,000 or whatever. If it was legal we’d see advertisements all over the place. If it could be done as a service to a poor family who had become the “victims” of a terrible disaster, so much easier would it be. It may help to remember that one of the locals reported that he saw Murat at a local bar, early in the evening, already sauced. In such a state, much is agreeable that ordinarily would be distasteful or wrong or stupid.
A live body, a seriously injured body, would be different. Based on the words of the parents, I think Maddie was completely dead on May 3.

Also, if people are still wondering who “the mystery” man in the playground photo is -it is not the same person as a PJ policeman.
It is David Marcellus Payne from San Diego! He is a convicted criminal, an identity thief, and an opportunist. What is such a (childless) man doing at an upscale foreign resort playground? Good question!

It says that he was sentenced to 4 yrs,. in jail for identity theft (back in 2004). I guess he got out early and high-tailed it to a thief paradise -an upscale resort.
It is always suspicious when a man without a child is hanging around a playground. It would be an extraordinary coincidence for a manipulative crook like that to

His victims recall him as charismatic and charming, handsome and sophisticated. Two were roommates. One dated him for nine months.
He had panache, they say, and a taste for the finer things in life. Tickets to the Old Globe. Golf at posh country clubs. Premium wines, stays in trendy hotels, jet trips to sporting events around the globe.
When it came to light that this rich lifestyle was built with stolen money – much of it stolen in their name – his friends saw another David Payne: the accomplished identity thief who penetrated their very lives and looted what he could.
They felt betrayed, even foolish. Mostly, they said they were stunned by Payne’s heartlessness, his audacity, the coldblooded way he devastated those closest to him.
Like so many victims of identity theft – a crime that netted an estimated $52 billion last year from businesses and 10 million Americans – they wonder if their nightmares will ever end.

David Payne, in a photo taken last year by Payne’s former roommate Stephen Marty, pleaded guilty in March to making fraudulent purchases of more than $21,500 over six months.
Yet Payne’s victims have this one comfort: Their tormentor is behind bars. Most identity thieves skate by because the crime is so difficult to track and police are overwhelmed by hundreds, even thousands of cases.
David Marcellus Payne, a 36-year-old San Diegan with a long criminal history, is serving a four-year term in Richard J. Donovan State Prison in Otay Mesa.
He pleaded guilty in March to making fraudulent purchases of more than $21,500 over six months – a spending spree footed by six individuals and 17 businesses. Some of his victims never saw him, never knew his name.
Authorities believe Payne’s larceny runs deeper still. They are trying to link him to an additional $30,000 in fraudulent purchases since 2000.

Stevo 721-I don’t think there is a suggestion of a higher proportion of paedophiles in JW ,the way they are actually dealt with ie internally. The elders never give up a JW beacause he is an abuser , they are allowed to go back to the families to re-abuse for years, younger siblings next in line etc, no police involvement. The elders see this as a shame on their religion. These abusers also have access to other young children but are only outed when they abuse the wrong child, ie the child that does not go to the elders for help but goes outside of JW.

£75k isn’t much at all for a top PR man, but its quite a lot for a crap PR.
The McCanns may not know that, but Brian Kennedy would.
They should have stuck with the fat bloke they had out in Portugal. He looked a bit overwhelmed, but nevertheless came across as as sincere and decent, whereas Mitchell is slimy and spouts cheap propaganda. As for that McGuiness woman, her face was enough to dob them in it before she even opened her mouth.
I’m getting spiteful now, so better go….

Yes, I’ve given some thought to the point about there being no videos of Madeleine. There was that one in the beginning in which she opened and shut her mouth, but nothing since (that I’ve seen anyway). If there were videos, one would think that they’d have been used very freely as it would give a better identification of the actual child, how she moves, speaks etc, than mere photos. Yet the McCanns aren’t a “no photos” family so it is extremely strange, when you really think about it, that video footage of her hasn’t been released. Was there something about Madeleine that the McCanns don’t want us to know? Was there something about her behaviour? In photos she looks like a normal pretty little girl. However, I saw a photo of a lovely smiling child in the news some weeks ago and it turned out that she was a victim of child abuse by her mother and her mother’s boyfriend, and ended up being killed by them. I’m not saying that Madeleine was abused - I’m just giving an example of how smiling photos don’t necessarily tell the full story.

Some bloke here in the US was on the news earlier this week. He was a JW and was convicted of pedophilia. I think it’s tough on those churches though because pedophiles are everywhere. I’d like to see statistics on pedophiles vs. their religious orientation if only to see if there really is a larger proportion of JWs or Catholics involved in this stuff.

They have not appeared on TV in my country. I do not think one “looks stupid” by being skeptical of what one is told by others , without proof, on the Internet. My point was not to insist that they are the same person, but rather to emphasize that no proof has been provided. And your lame “argument” that they have “appeared on TV” is not an argument for the worldwide public — it is an argument you can use with your family or circle of acquaintances. Or did you think only people watching the TV programs you watch are interested in this case? You are not looking especially bright yourself, fellah.
Moreover, there are other problems with the dual Kennedys. One simple fact is that a cheque made out to “Brian Kennedy” the director of the “search” fund, could simply be handed over to the other “Brian Kennedy” — to pay back the donation, and effecting a transfer of money from one fund to the other. And , once again, why did the Uncle Brian Kennedy suddenly disappear from the media right after the Magnate Brian Kennedy appeared? Just a coincidence, eh? Nothing to worry your little brain about, I guess.

I might, but I AM NOT THE ONE making a claim about them, so why should I bother? I’m curious why no one else can find definititive proof to back up THEIR CLAIMS that these people are different individuals. Are birth dates and birth places SECRET in Britain?

The Wealthy Magnate is a Jehovah’s Witness, and just now someone is posting that many of Gerry’s friends are associated with JW. This Wealthy Magnate did just appear out of nowhere and decided to donate his money to the poor McCanns. He appeared JUST AFTER Uncle Brian Kennedy said they would not use “search” funds for legal purposes.
I think you are all overlooking something important, and as I said it is NOT the mere question of whether the two are the same or not, but rather EXACTLY what are their backgrounds and how are they connected.

If they fight extradition will this not raise the stench of rotten fish even more for the McCanns. People may start asking why are the friends not helping find Madeleine by answering questions.
