I’ve not seen evidence anywhere during the last six months that Kate is suffering from anything other than heartache because her beloved child has been kidnapped. For God’s sake you people get a life and leave them alone!!!!! If you dislike them so much why on earth are you following the daily media coverage - do you not have something better to do, like earn a living and get a life??? I was always brought up with the phrase ‘if you can’t say anything good about somebody - don’t say anything at all’. So for God’s sake button up.

i hav never posted on here before but I do love all your banter - however, what has happened today ? there are usually hundreds of comments to read through - very disappointing people!

Anyway, here’s a comment i meant to make quite a few weeks ago but couldn’t be bothered.

Who is the vicar/priest of their local church in Rothley - you knw, the one they must attend at least 7 times a week since they’re so religious - he must be the only cleric in the Uk who doesn’t relish having his face plastered across the media whilst spouting his messages oc comfort and support.

I’d love to hear a character witness statment from him/ her

Are the children, Maddy in particular, the McCann’s biological children. Apologies to the family if Maddy is found to have been kidnapped.
Child too much for mother. Not hers & can’t cope. Lets go to Portugal with friends and makamymoney. Unfortunately, Potugese police make one a suspect. Put a spoke in the wheel that did. To use money donated to look for Maddy, seems unthinkable. Is she coming back then!
No, perhaps she is happily with another family somewhere..paid to take her.
Something wrong here folks. Where will all this end.

It seems that Gerry will begin working next Thursday.
I ask myself if Kate will make it, without him at home. I ask myself if Kate would be the type of person who needs constant attention, suffering of the Munchhausen syndrom.They have been together for months and months, hand in hand in public, this would have suffocated me.
She could have an unstable personality, needing him all the time. Needing the husband above her children, family or friends.Who knows if the accident was running out the hands, while he was playing tennis and she was feeling lonesome?

Going back to work could mean a great relieve to him.

This whole saga has become an institution. A money making story for the newspapers, and of course for the McCanns. I am sure that without intervention from the UK government in the earlier stages, then the Portugese police would have had this case sewn up. Because of all of the critisism, probably unfounded, the police are probably going over and over and over information so that when they finally arrest or bring charges, they are absolutely and without doubt right in every respect. The Portugese have been backed into a corner by UK critics and dare not have even one minor detail which could be questioned. They probably have enough evidence under normal circumstances to bring this case to a close, but all of the diversions which are being created by the McCanns and their family make it impossible for the police in Portugal to have a “clear run” . I am surprised that with the strict laws in Portugal with regard to information etc. that the McCanns, as suspects, are allowed to run their own investigation in tandem. Maybe it would be a good idea to serve an order on them to stop - if that is possible.

Well done to you.
I remember,a long time ago,you were unsure but I seem to have got you thinking then,about them absolutely convinced with abduction.
This is what made me react,along with their calm and collective attitudes.
The absence of any incentive to search for Maddy,IN CASE SHE WASN’T ABDUCTED.
We’ll see if they remain so calm after a few more people realise the odds.JUSTICE people.
I still don’t get it,how they’re allowed to do all this,phone-line and all,paying for the mortgage with PUBLIC MONEY,given for Maddy-searches…when they already are suspects NUMBER ONES!

What are the authorities waiting for,another one missing perhaps?
Or,Nanny - “witness” number 15,after 15 years,another friend of the McCanns?

Hello everyone,
Have been otherwise occupied for a few days.
The last posts I wrote were I how I wished they were innocent and I felt really peace with the situation.
Today I come and read this bullshit and I am back in an absolute rage.
So maybe I should just be an ostrich and dig my head in the sand and forget about it all, but for some reason life gets me back online to read this.
It lacks such credibility and must be such a crushing blow to their reputation.
Surely even the most stupid people can see the sham that this has become.
The experiment moves into the next phase:

How many insults must a nation hurl at another before there is war?
How many lies can we tell?
What can we plunder and soil in the name of power.
They can now monitor and see how the subjects deal with their anger and aggravation, do they network and gripe or do they do Michael Moore kind of things. In order words are they moved to action apart from verbal opinions on forums.
If the controllers of this experiment find out it is that easy to lie to us, to insult us, and get away with it again and again, then we as a species are truly doomed.

Maybe this situation just needs to get so totally absurd that the charade that it is is revealed once and for all and something new can come into being.

I often wonder if we could ever get organised into a really intelligent factor. I read so much on the web that is absolutely brilliant and I think if we could tap into an information centre where we could immediately punish our governments for not adhering to our desires for justice and transparency.

I fear we are already too controlled to ever be a risk to the powers that be.
I think this whole McCann thing has been a fabrication to see just how much we can take,
and you know the sad thing it is endless.
We will keep getting outraged.
Then Hopeful.
Then outraged.
And all the time the insults grow bigger.
