We wish to state there is categorically no so-called pact of silence – or indeed anything secretive between us. Just the desire to assist the search. It is frustrating that the facts we have done as we were asked is till being looked upon as suspicious”
“COPS IN WINDOW PROBE” – Paolo Rebelo is looking at the window of the McCanns’ holiday apartment. “is this how evil Maddie snatcher struck?”
Four pictures:

“MADDY ‘SPOTTED 10 TIMES IN MOROCCO’” – Says private detective Francisco Marco: “Several unconnected people have told us of the same girl with the same woman. She has shorter hair than Madeleine. But everything else matches”. Like her name?

DAILY EXPRESS front page: “MADELEINE – McCANNS USE FUNDS TO PAY MORTGAGE” – Two mortgage payments on their “£600,000” home

“We’ve found a kidnapped blonde girl, but it’s not her” – A blonde girl in Morocco. She can speak English. She must have been kidnapped. Right?
Says Francisco Marco: “Blonde children are a valuable commodity in North Africa. They can be sold for huge sums and give prestige to families who buy them”
DAILY MAIL front page: “MADDIE FUND PAYS McCANNS’ MORTGAGE” – Mortgage repayments on their “£500,000” home. (How long before the Express and Mail start a heated debate on the value of the McCanns home and how that value has been affected by the story?)
Page 4: “Is she in the mountains? Investigators scour Morocco in the search for Madeleine”
Says the Mail: “In an extraordinary coincidence the detectives are reported to have already found an English-speaking blonde girl of about Madeleine’s age living with a local family”
How many more blonde children are in Morocco? And can we find them all?
DAILY STAR front page: “Maddie ‘alive in drug den’”
Page 7: “MADDIE’S IN MOROCCAN MOUNTAINS – Ten sightings with rich Arab”
Says Francisco Marco PI of the woman with the blonde child found in the Rif mountains: “My feeling is this woman is some sort of carer who is working on behalf of other people”
Says an “insider”: “It’s a very secretive country and the Rif mountains enjoy official protection because of the importance of the hashish production”
“McCanns in the clear – Portuguese police now believe Madeline was kidnapped”

I think also that Kate was also prepared to go the distance and phone the doctor/police, but Gerry had his future mapped and manouvered Kate into believing that burying M was the best option. Move her later…
Then he called a priest - for Kate’s sake.
Then he engineered a Pope visit - for Kate’s sake.
Why he doth protest so much - for Kate’s sake - for his career’s sake.
Why he controls her in interviews.
Why Kate hates him in the first appeal. She know sthe truth.
She’s disgusted with him.
Why didn’t he let her just call the police?

Well, it’s on telly here and it works. Whether it’s entrapment or any other fancy name, it gets those sick perverts off the streets and behind bars where they belong.
I’m a practical person who likes methods that work. I don’t much go for PC and methods that allow the criminal to slip through the net.

995 Garth asked:
1. If the phone calls were so damning as you’d like to think, why aren’t the McCanns being
charged?
REPLY: Main problem is the lack of a body. The McCanns, probably together with two or more of the ‘Tapas 9′, ensured that the disposal of Madeleine’s body was so effective that they felt confident that they could challenge the PJ two months ago: “Find the body, and then charge us if you think you have any evidence”.
2. “Also, if ( again as you’d like to think) they did have something to do with her disappearance, do you honestlky think the McCanns would strike up a potentially incriminating conversation by phone? Bearing in mind of course, that they are very clever and calculating”.
REPLY: Even the most cunning and calculating of individuals can make a mistake now and again.

Stig, you give a link to the article about the man lurking outside the McCanns’ apartment. I’m sure it dodn’t escape your attention that this happened a whole 11 MONTHS before the McCanns went anywhere near the place? And wasn’t it interesting he was wearing a navy shirt and light trousers - so he lurked outside that particular apartment for 11 MONTHS in the expectation that a blonde English girl and her negligent family would arrive and thoughtfully didn’t change clothing so he could be ‘identified’ as the ‘faceless fiend’ of Jane Tanner’s nightmares? More to the point, what was a nanny, employed to look after a 6 year old boy, doing ‘momentarily’ leaving him alone in the apartment? Obviously all the McCanns acolytes feel the same casual approach to childcare is appropriate…

I’m in Praia da Luz looking to buy a big black blindfold for Pitty - we need to start our search with an open mind………and besides I don’t want her distracted by the naked homeless people sunning on the beach. I’m taking notes - detailed notes on everything…..also if anyone here can help me identify stray DNA, what exactly does this stray DNA look like? How big is it, what does it smell like, and how shall I know it when I find it if I don’t know what it looks like to begin with.
Pitty says she will find the DNA. She will. She can. She knows….. Pitty……stop it Pitty, stop it, stop sniffing piles of pooh pooh….for Pitty’s sake show some class will ya!

Read the posting Tony,
Found this interesting:
“considered by the investigating team to *absolutely show* that there was no abduction”
Strange when the PJ are now investigating an abduction. Funny old world isn’t it ?

Just a thought
I am just wondering if Madeleine died in the swimming pool early in the evening. Something else I’ve been thinking- did K take the bible on holiday with her or was it purchased in Portugal They could have had their own little burial service. Mind you if she died in the pool I suppose an ambulance would be called and there would be no reason to cover it up. But, Kate may have lashed out at her and she fell in the pool. I wonder if there are any peices of Maddies teeth in the pool.

They should add Kate McCann to Wikipedia as a definitive example of Crocodile Tears.

I just knew PJ were a bunch of idiots from day 1…Amaral has made everyone believe that Kate and Gerry are guilty by twisting DNA results and making up stories..ALL a bunch of lies….I hope you people have wiser things to invest your time, rather than continuing to speculate on something that is completely made up…

“The Real Stig
Are you still here?”
No, but I am back now.
I did not find that comment strange. I suppose if you think - not implying that you do! - the McCanns are devoid of any sense of morals, that would seem surprising, but I think It shows a sound moral stance. It seems related to the statement that the fund could be used to assist their legal costs if they were charged and brought to trial, but only if that money was repaid if they were found guilty.
That statement seems to be sort of pre-empting that stance and deciding that just being made suspects is enough to make it inappropriate to use the funds to assist with their living expenses.

Steve, 985, thank you once again for referring me to an interesting feature article. In fact, as you chose it I wonder what you thought of the following claim,”The McCanns are attracting criticism because they refuse to divulge the exact details and timings of what happened on the night Madeleine disappeared.
They are doing so because, under Portuguese law, such information would be prejudicial to the inquiry. ”
Anyway,I digress. Where exactly in this article is the impression given by the McCanns that
” they (PJ) are lazy morons and UK police are brilliant and hard working.”-THEA-858 ?

That’s the problem…normal people don’t understand how these sick perverts operate. I’d be surprised if they would tend to “cheat” on each other for fear of the trail leading back to themselves. I would have thought they’d be as slippery as each other and would be constantly watching out for each other.
Here in the USA, there’s a show on telly where they organise stings to catch pedos. They get these people to come to a house where they believe they are going to have sex with kids. They lure them in and then the cameras come out and tell them they’ve been filmed and are free to go. Just as they walk outside, the police nab them.
