You could be right. It would have been a clever move.
But, if they’d gone to all that trouble, would they be likely to give the game away in a careless phone call the very first night? Wouldn’t they have wanted to keep their friends and family “on side” by maintaining the lie absolutely with them? You can’t afford to have many people in on a secret like that, I would think. NOT that I know from personal experience!
Would they be likely to want to speak to the priest who had married them? Surely they’d have wanted to keep away from anyone likely to suspect that something was wrong or who would be likely to urge the correct response (reporting all to the police) if he WAS told?

Pitty says that she is not following faint wee tracks to Morocco looking for blond haired blue eyed sweet young wee ones. She is heading for the Alps and the snow and looking for MM there on the slopes.
I told her she can’t take off the blind fold, but she skies faster than me, so who knows what will happen on those slopes…..I try to keep the leash short - but her head is so much bigger than mine, she just has her way most of the time….Sigh. Oh but Pitty is a trial.

I never once said that Kate or Gerry needed to cry in order to be believable. I don’t have the time to once again list my suspicions of them but it begins with Gerry making remarks about how he desires a role in politics. This wish was made aloud at the media festival in Edingurgh. The strange fact that neither Kate nor Gerry sends hopeful loving messages to Madeleinie during interviews. The exploitation of the twins in photo ops and press release matereials when they want the public to believe Madeleine was spotted, then they were followed and then finally attacked by paedo who snatched Madeleine. Gerry’s blog NOT being about Madeleine. The way in which both parents - especially Gerry speaks so little about Madeleine and when he does it’s in an abstract way yet they want the public to believe she is alive and that they believe she is alive……etc….
I see no evidence that they are controlling the show. I have maded it clear many times that I do NOT know if they arer guilty of murder or have anything directly todo with their daughtere’s disappearance other than being stupid enough to leave her and her siblings without a sitter but I do believe they know something. I feel that the massive involvement of government and influential billionairers is only explainable as part of a massive cover up. There was at least tone other person in PdL with the McCanns and friends. This person is a high level UK official. It is this vip who is being protected and the McCanns are a diversion from the facts of this case and possibly the real suspect.
And I see absolutely no evidence that any private investigator or detective team they’ve hired is “the best” as you believe? I also don’t believe Mitchell’s claims that the PR campaign he is running on their behalf is the most successful in the world (I think is show he has advertised it).
If you have proof that the McCann investigators arer the best then please provide evidence. I will be around this evening and tomorrow because I am not feeling well and off from work. Other than that I spend far less time here on this forum than many others and have no idea why you addressed me to begin with.

i think that this article is just completely biased. as a moroccan, born and bred there till the age of 18, and now a student here in the uk,i can say that this article is way overshot!
this might come to a surprise to people, but in morocco, it is very common to find girls with blonde hair and blue or green eyes……..especially in fes and around the north of the country.
2nd of all, for someone to say that its a very secretive country and that blonde girls are a commondity over there and sold. come on, were, jst like pple like 2 remind us, an underdeveloped country, we dont have money to feed the poor and yet you accuse us of creating a ring of pedophiles! come on, wat could we possibly do with her. and wat would a moroccan be doing in europe waiting to kidnap that girl cuz after all, a lot of pple dont get their visas seeing that were not allowed any free movement within the european union…

I have seen a few videos and photos of the vicinity of the apartment ie narrow walkways, high walls, high hedges. How on arriving in a resort would the group feel it safe on the second night to leave the children?
If me and my family were on a holiday and I forgot my purse in our apartment in a similar location to the Mcs at night, my husband would accompany me back to the apartment.
Why at the time of the holiday did they feel so safe that aswell as leaving the children the group felt safe enough to let Kate do a check on the children at 10pm?
If the blokes were engrossed in conversation/supping wine/talking to the aerobics instructor why did one of the other women in the group not accompany her?
Makes sense, ie I’ll come with you’, quick chat on the walk,you check your kids, I’ll check mine we’ll get back to table quicker.
