242 Jacqueline …..was referring to the child in the photo and the berber child and Madeleine.. NOT all Berber children!!!!!! This is getting silly..

242 Jacqueline
you had a grainy photograph of an unknown child whose face was half hidden.
if it were so easy with all this biometric stuff as you say it is, then why is it just such a fuss with those new biometric passports the US want us all to have? Face has to be the the right size to fit the template used by customs, no smiling please, look straight into the camera, and so on. If it were that easy, if you were able to check biometric markers from a grainy photograph where a child’s head is half hidden, gosh, why did I have to come back with new photographs for my passport then???

My impression in September was that the media have highly exagerrated the evidence and the meaning of the “arguido”-status, and that the media pressure on portugese police made those presenting us the “usual subjects”, as parents always are in such cases.
I would have expected the parents to crack in September in case they were guilty. As they did not, I think they are either innocent or have committed a perfect crime. In the first case they have my compassion, in the second case they have my respect.

Teddy’s got it right.
I would even add - from the number of abductions to order of little blond girls, how many of those abductions actually took place with the abductor breaking into an apartment in a small town (as opposed to snatching the victim from a public space)?
Perhaps Jacqueline the expert can tell us????

239. I thought they were completely innocent of any implication until I started feeling sick after hearing Gerry talkl about his desire to get into politics at the Edinburgh festival in June or July. Then after watching more of their interviews in August I really began to get a bad feelign because I realised they rarely ever sent messages to Madeleine in their interviews, they were using the twins in their marketing yet wanted me to believe they’d been targeted by paedo, they frequently talked about their sadness and frustration but never express any concern for what Madeleine must be feeling and the whole thing with the fund - how quickly it was set up; how they chose not to organise it as a charity because that would mean sharing the money with other missing children so they opted for limited company but made damn sure it looked like a charity and all of these inconsistencies with what I’ve seen othere parents of missing kids do just got more and more clearer so by Augusts’ end I no longer believed them. Their inability to speak to Madeleine directly, or to her alleged abduictor or to speak about Madeleine in any real non-abstract way are other very disturbing McCann elements imo.

My gut feeling from first seeing them on TV was that something did not add up. I have always tried to keep an open mind, but the more the McCanns do/dont do, the more I think that they are involved in some way.

The very fact that they are ’simulating’ the transfer of a ‘blanket’ is very significant. And they certainly wouldnt be enacting that to simulate the McCanns passing a child through the window now would they?

Quote – “they made the biggest mistake any parent could make” – Several nights in a row
Quote – “they cannot stand up for themselves because of the stupid secrecy laws in Portugal” – Oh that it were true! Anyway, they have all those family and friends, and sources close to whomever and not forgetting Comical whathisname all of whom do a fantastic job of standing up for them. Sadly, the McCann’s might be better served if all these people ‘standing up for them’, just sat down and kept quiet for a while.
Quote – “I want to know why is the Mark Warner Club not being chastised for not allowing children into the restaurant with the parents, especially as it is advertised as a family friendly resort” – Do you have any proof of that statement?
Quote – “I have stated previously that their idea of child minding is where someone walks around the apartments, listens at the door, if there is any noise they report back to the reception and the parents are informed.” – Just because a company offers a ‘service’ it doesn’t mean you as a parent are not responsible for deciding whether it’s suitable for you and your family. Frankly I’m flabbergasted that anyone should think it acceptable to leave three children under age of 4 alone in an apartment, irrespective of WHO claims to be listening out for them occasionally.
Quote – “Madeleine was targeted from day one” – If you have supporting evidence of that statement I should hotfoot it to your nearest police station, they would love to know about your important evidence.
And I/we contributed to the fund too. Legally, they can currently do pretty much as they like and I/we/others just have to accept that. It doesn’t mean I, and others, can’t express reservations about the use to which they are putting the fund.

174 - Rationalist
I don’t know anything about Berber children’s eyes, but I know about biometrical tests. It calculates all the distances and volumes very precisely. In this case, the volumes of the unknown child were closer to that of Madeleine than to that of Bouchra.
If the American little girl could be there, not checking if Madeleine is around would be criminal and unforgivable, because there where at least two doubles of her in the area. So I cannot see what wrong is done.

Another question for you.
How soon after the ‘abduction’ was the fund set up? Seems to me it was pretty quick.
Even allowing for the financial and organisational acumen of the ‘friends and family’, you have to feel as though plans for something like this must have been ready and waiting to kick it off so expertly.
Now what would you call that - prudence or premeditation?
October 30th, 2007 at 12:23 pm
translation. . Russell, when the questions enclose it, loses the sympathy: ” I have not any more anything to say to you. I am not going to disgrace the promise that I assumed with Kate and Gerry. They want to have the executive control on the whole information that is spread “.
October 30th, 2007 at 12:22 pm
It’s incredible that UK press wants us to believe a kidnapped American girl was found by Metodo 3 yet none of the US press seems to know about this? Actually, only Daily Mail is running this story? This is bs. If it were true it would be reported by more than one agency by now.

There are people on here who must have searched the sum of human knowledge regarding this case - so I ask you this.
How many cases are there known of in Europe over the last, say, 5 years where blond children have been stolen to order? I for one cannot recollect any - and I’m sure given our medias love of a “human interest” story, we would have heard.
So this makes me think that, if abduction of blond children was your speciality, you would have to charge a pretty penny to make ends meet, given how infrequently you went to work - certainly more than a subsistence wage Berber could afford.
This area has been picked by the McCann machine because it remains, in our eyes, a place of mystery where things go on that we do not understand - so easy then for a child to be hidden among the mountains.
What next when Morocco proves, as we and the McCanns know it will, to be a dead end - the Australian Outback? Antarctica? or maybe the Amazon Rain Forest.
This is just another smoke screen.
