real stig…funny that… the official find madeleine web site being registered through anonymizing service in Arizona just the same as freekatemccann com. Infohost sponser the site they are registered through english based domain register fashosts. Infohosts based in ullapool so why did the official find madeleine site need such anonymizing. And then the co-incedence of droitfondamental.eu being registered through the same godaddy com. World’s largest domain register hey… I do a lot of internet investigative work when carrying out work related investigations..never once come across godaddy com. In fact first time i heard of them was when this case opened up. Anonymizing service in Arizona, now there’s a co-incedence.

‘…Unfortunately, what will happen is that the portuguese will be afraid of the negative impact in their tourism figures, and will finally admit that Madeleine was abducted and taken away to Morocco. This is always the most elegant way out for the PJ to drop the case against the parents and comfortably put the case to interpol as another of those thousands of cases of missing children (only in Britain they are more than 500 at the moment).
In the end, the McCanns will be happy because they’re on the clear, the portuguese will come out with an incompetent PJ, but still with intact tourism revenues… and most importantly, the great british public and the great british media have once again prevailed and won the battle against those nasty foreigners who are blaming the good britons of being negligent parents….’
You are probably correct in this anaysis of how the vested interestes of the portugese tourist industry will play out. But it will not work because families will still fear going to Portugal on holidays in case of paedophiles, abductions, but most of all for fear of being framed for crimes against them. If this is what portugese authorities opt for it may not deliver the expected outcome. Justice works best for tourism!

Jennifer, please don’t presume to talk for me. Now, let me pose a little question to you - let’s say I’m standing on a street corner, rattling a tin, asking you to make a donation for decent housing for young, single mothers who otherwise are struggling to bring up their children in damp, mouldy unsuitable accommodation often without any heating. Young women who wouldn’t ever dream of leaving their children alone to fend for themselves whilst they went out binge drinking (and 14 bottles of wine between 9 certainly qualifies as that), whose life is centred around making very meagre ends meet to make sure their children are immaculately clothed and fed a good diet even if means they go without. So, Jennifer, will you be dropping £20 in my collecting tin? Thought not - yet it’s perfectly ok for the McCanns to carry on playing golf and skiving off work whilst they get their mortgage paid? Have they never heard of mortgage holidays?
Jennifer, I appreciate you feel sorry for a little blonde girl - then let your compassion extend to all the other kids in this world who are missing, or cold, or hungry

100 Garth Says:
The very fact that they are ’simulating’ the transfer of a ‘blanket’ is very significant. And they certainly wouldnt be enacting that to simulate the McCanns passing a child through the window now would they?
i’ve always thought the mccanns passed her in through the window.
it’s quieter, and would explain the blood.

“At the Tapas bar, from bartenders to staff from the Kid Club, criticism is whispered: “We have a creche where they left their children for most part of the day, where they could be until 11.30 p.m. without spending another Euro…
…this was a very strange group, that never stayed with their children… Before 8 p.m., Madeleine and her siblings, who seem to function like a clock, are already asleep. Half an hour later, the group of friends meets at Tapas. The staff remember that they only leave at midnight: “They were very lively and drank a bit too much. I didn’t even realize they had children, because I never saw them around”.
“…The conversation always comes back to the same issue: the night of the disappearance. The account of that last dinner has disparate versions among the group’s members. Some swear that someone left the table every half hour to check on the kids; other reduce that time to half of it. Some say control is made window by window; others say the adults entered each other’s apartments. ”
“… And Russell, when the questions start to surround him, loses his sympathy: “I have nothing further to tell you. I am not going to dishonor the compromise I assumed with Kate and Gerry. They want to control all infornation that is disclosed”.
“…Gerry and Kate’s friends, who are interrogated tightly by the PJ over almost a month, refuse to clarify this contradiction [presence or absence of Murat on night of May 3rd], when asked by Sol. “We have a pact. This is our matter only. It is nobody else’s business”, says David Payne, another element with the group. Minutes after we tried to contact Kate, Gerry, in a fury, calls the Sol journalist: “What do you think you are doing? Do you think you’re better than the portuguese police? I’m going to forward your contact to PJ and you will have to explain yourselves”.

The Hoax Theory
There has been a thread involving the case that has not been discussed on this blog; the idea that the disappearance of Madeleine McCann be a hoax.
I realise that it sounds very far-fetched, some might say ludicrous, but it is a possibility.
The basis for the hoax theory appears to rest upon the relationship between Gerry McCann and Peter McCann, who is the chairman of Castle Craig, a group of rehab clinics for drug and alcohol abusers; but who also has contracts with the US and British military. The financial director of the company is John McCann. The suggestion is that Peter McCann is Gerry McCann’s uncle, and that John McCann is his brother: the same brother who is administering the fund.
Incidentally yesterday Sky News refered to the fund as the ‘charity fund’, which is perhaps another example of Sky News passing subliminal messages.
To my knowledge there it has never been shown that there is a link between Gerry McCann and the Castle Craig group.
The story appears to have started because of a comment left on the Daily Express forum, and to be based on a conversation in a hairdressers somewhere in the Preston area.
The essence is that Peter McCann was also in Praia de Luz, supposedly as a swinging partner for Dianne Webster in some versions of the story. In the original telling of the tale, Peter McCann was supposed to have been the kidnapper. Though in other versions, he is supposed ot have refused to enter the ‘pact of silence’ and left the resort in a private jet.
The reason the story gained credence was that Peter McCann is alleged to have house on Malta. And in the early stages of the investigation the majority of the reported sightings were on that island. Though it should be noted that Malta is a centre for people trafficking. It should also be noted that since the McCann’s switched the focus of the kidnapping to Morocco in June, sightings in Malta have largely ceased.
All of this is tenuous at best. Indeed it could be used as a textbook example of the way in which urban legends are invented. What is certain is that there is post hoc rationalization occuring.
For instance, it ties up the loose end of the swinger question by giving Diane Webster a purpose for being in the group. It also adds to the air of conspiracy by placing someone with connections to the military and a private plane. And it adds to the suspicion of nepotism.
But it only does so by working backwards.
What it does not do is to demolish the hoax theory; if Peter McCann is discounted.
Obviously I like everyone else, hope that Madeleine McCann is found alive and well. Personally my ideal scenario would be that she has been taken by a bereaved mother.
Clearly if this were to happen, to many that would be the end of the matter. The problem is that unless this is done in a way that ties all the loose ends, and answers all the unanswered questions: for instance there is the revelation of a ransom note, or something that explains the DNA evidence, then there will always be the suspicion of a hoax.
peace:)

But still there has to bee some form of grief? That’s what keeps puzzling me and makes me think, maybe those people know she’s going to turn up some day. unharmed. in morocco. nah, got you there! but, you know what I mean?

The Spanish PI group is going to get all of the abducted blonde children in Morocco murdered.

It was censored heavily in the uK press and so there was a lot of buzz about it. Very interesting article imo.

Thanks Thea.. yes, very interesting.
Quote - when asked by Sol. “We have a pact. This is our matter only. It is nobody else’s business”, says David Payne, another element with the group.
I have to say however that whether or not the McCann’s or their friends are implicated in Madeleine’s disappearance it does still make sense to have only one spokesperson for the entire group so far as the media is concerned. Obviously they have to give evidence to the PJ on an individual basis. That said, David Payne does appear to have taken a fairly ‘defensive’ manner in which to say this.

“My belief is whatever they do right now, they protect their career and their lifestyle. They know a lot more than they say. They don’t necessarily deliberately did anything to their child. There has probably been some kind of accident. Be it the kid swallowed pills or got hurt in a hundred possible ways while theythemsellves were absent. Be it some sedating went wrong. Whatever it was, it wouldn’t go well with a doctor’s profession”.
Thats exactly how I see it.

If Gerry was a genuinely nice personality, it would have helped their cause immensely. Trouble is, he’s so miserable and controlling that you can’t warm to him even if you try.

I laughed this morning when I read about the Tapas 7 saying there was no pact of silence. Firstly, they didn’t say it - Clarence did. Second…they didn’t actually SAY anything. These bozos are beyond a joke and the scary thing is they are doctors!

The PJ, Garth, are looking into it as just another part of the investigation. As far as I can tell, they always have, but especially Rebero. I don’t believe for one minute they are any less suspicious of the McCanns. The newspapers are trying very hard to “spin” this the way you have taken it. Justice is always being obstructed by the arguidos and their friends, with the cooperation of the press, and a few people who seem able to ignore all the inconsistencies and the terrible behaviour of a couple who made a mistake in deserting their children, then blamed the police for mistakes of a much lesser order. IMO.

I know I’ve asked this one before, but it bore no fruit, so I’ll try again.
The famous Cuddle-Cat was allegedly found on a window ledge - how high was this ledge?
If, as has been reported, there were other children in the room, could one of them put the cat on the ledge to tease Madeleine and in climbing up, she falls off, bangs her head and bingo - the whole fiasco begins - because the McSlurrys don’t want to be branded bad parents ‘ cos it might cost them the nice little earner they have.

So kind of you…
I read about Gerry being the executive controller of things released by the Tapas crew. I think it’s typical of his controlling attitude.
I say this about Dr’s McCann. If they are innocent and the law takes its course and they are found not guilty then I will accept that decision. On the other hand, if they are guilty in any way of the disappearance of his daughter (beyond the proven negligence), I hope they hang them from the highest tree.
