602 Sherlock
I can’t argue with you. It all sounds feasible. I keep saying that I don’t have the mindset of a child abuser so I have no idea what motivates them or influences their decision making.

Lack of photos odd. We know they had a camera (last picture of Madeleine). Seem the sort od folk who would demonstrate their ‘lovely’ holiday with photos at work. Perhaps there are? I am hoping that the police actually do have evidence. Probably not enough to charge ‘em yet.

Thank You 602 Sherlock - and welcome to the Third Way - the only way.
Stevo will sooner or later convert to the Third Way - he knows it makes sense.

Brandon Matt- posted this earlier, think it was in Sol but can’t find it. Been away so sorry if you sorted it.
And Russell, when the questions start to surround him, loses his sympathy: “I have nothing further to tell you. I am not going to dishonor the compromise I assumed with Kate and Gerry. They want to control all information that is disclosed”.

Ferdinand Says: “carmen Says: “What kind of crazy kidnapper sells a european child to Rif mountian berbers when the reward stands at 2.5 million sterling?” He wouldn’t have known that there would be a reward of 2.5 million. If the deal was prearranged for a fixed price then it would be legally binding.”
Are you insane!!!?? “Honor amongst thieves…”? You’re saying that a child-trafficking-paedophilia-network-gang-transaction would be “legally binding”? In WHAT country would this ‘legal’ contract be valid. Sir? Pray tell.

Erm…let me guess…the U stands for Ugly right?
I hope you realise the English language is going to be adding a few new words due to this case. “Ludicrous” will have another entry in there alongside the usual entries. It will say “Ludicrous - a McCannism”

I do hope he had the good sense not to wear it in his hair.
But we know Our Clarence….any chance of an “own foot in the mouth” gesture or statement and he’s up for it.

“The fund set up to help to find Madeleine McCann has revealed that it stopped paying for her parents’ mortgage after they were made official suspects in her disappearance.
The Find Madeleine fund, which has raised £1.09 million from public donations, agreed to make two payments on the McCann’s £460,000 home in Rothley, Leicestershire.
However, the payments stopped when Kate and Gerry McCann were made suspects on September 7. The fund also ruled that it would not help to pay the couple’s legal bills.
Clarence Mitchell, the couple’s spokesman, said Mr and Mrs McCann began using the fund earlier this year to help to pay their mortgage when they took unpaid leave from their jobs. “When they were made arguidos (suspects), it stopped, which was a mutual decision on the part of the fund and the McCanns,” he said. “They were happy to accept that their changed status meant they were no longer entitled to that assistance.” “

Stevo 583 - au contraire my dear friend. You know the Third Way is the only way - resist not your nature - you know it makes sense. Thanks for the tip Dee - will be using it from now on.
Stevo, Stevo, Stevo… The Third Way is not explaining this whole affair with pure paedo ring involving parents…alone. But, to your point “why go to a holiday complex with the full glare of other families”. Well, you need to think that they needed a space large enough to accomodate 4 families, with sports, catering and entertainment available (they don’t strike me as committed housekeepers), and with child-care facilities during the day. That would be difficult to find if not on self catering.
Note also that early May in PDL is a relatively quiet season and MW is a relatively large resort (because it caters for a lot of people during the Summer months). What’s better to maintain unconventional relationships than an almost empty holiday resort where they can enjoy all modcoms?

big ugly woman for sure, was thinking the same myself

They were thinking ‘it can’t get worse’. It did.

Perhaps, but even the McCanns can’t have envisaged the size of the media bandwagon they created. This story is now on a par with the reporting of WWII for its longevity.
I’m still weirded out by the absence of photos from the week in PDL. 2 pictures makes no sense when clearly they weren’t shy in handing out older photos.
Talk of abuse could be a reason why the parents show strange and unconventional emotions. I don’t know what goes through the mind of a child abuser so I can’t even make a good guess.

As to yesterday with my inquiry into Jack the Ripper, just a note that all the crimes were committed in the WhiteChapel district, and the first crime of the murder of Polly, even though in an alley of sorts was committed within less then 10 yards of an insomniacs window, the woman up pacing the floor all night, and within just minutes of people walking to and from on their way to work.
Also, two of the murders were committed in open squares patrolled by beat cops and within 7 minutes of ear shot at all times.
This just to highlight that even vicious crimes can be committed with people about and very few witnesses……

No doubt they are reluctant to in any way transgress the Trade Descriptions Act.
However they could state that Bouncy Phil….was a BUW…… IMHO

you wouldn’t leave her in the creche all day. you would make sure everyone sees you with her and you’d make sue you are seen as a happy family. for witnesses

If there is a body (i believe there is) ,we will never know. This is obviously ,Politics , and they don’t care about the girl

Maybe they had no intention of abusing her on holiday. Maybe this was the planned disposal time.
October 30th, 2007 at 4:47 pm
Also, if Madeleine’s body is found along the shore by an unknown fisherman or local person, quite by accident, of course, with some seemingly logical explanation of how the body was discovered, this person would be my number one suspect……..

I did not read the report of the guy getting thrown out of Morocco as implying he was bribing people to change their stories, I read it as he was trying to buy information - reading between the lines - namely a copy of the CCTV data related to the Mari Olli sighting.
October 30th, 2007 at 4:46 pm
586. “Where’s Maddie?”
I think the biggest clue is “Find the body and prove we did it.” Spoken by Dr. Mr. Gerry McCann, upon his re-entry into the UK.

There’s a poem about parents who have their troublesome child abducted and then end up having to buy it back. Will try to find it and post.

Third Way - 579
You actually make an interesting point (in your almost Evangelical kind of way).
If I were one of the Tapas 7 and had read that the PJ was preparing a request to be sent to the UK asking the UK police to interview me,
And if I was truly committed to cooperating in the search for Madeleine, I would be in the first flight back to Portugal (therefore avoiding any administrative delays).
But the Tapas gang knew about this (because it was stated by the Head of the PJ himself), but did not say anything about cooperating or going back to Portugal. WHY IS THAT?
October 30th, 2007 at 4:42 pm
I think the biggest clue is
” They have take her”

The site I saw it on has mysteriously disappeared. Funnily enough so has the site where some astrologers were indicating potential sexual abuse using that ’science’. I dont know whether you’re posting was out of genuine interest or whether you disbelieve me or the ’science’. Whatever the case I will look up to see if there are any remnants online. I have no interest or belief system in it myself but found it rather strange/interesting that certain views were being put forward like this long before the McCanns were made suspects.

I’m willing to explore or discuss any theory but the pedophilia one makes less sense the more you look at it. It’s almost like the abduction theory - that also makes less sense the more you think it through.
Intelligent people are not going to be sexually abusing children in such full glare of other families in a holiday complex. It makes no sense at all. Does it?
October 30th, 2007 at 4:40 pm
Matt - Clarence really is hopeless. I saw him on T.V. this morning, with his ribbon on, and it was just like an election campaign. What are the McCanns thinking?
