Madeleine is lost because they put pleasure before responsibility, - this was no mistake, it was a repeated decision night after night.
Did the children enjoy being left all alone in an apartment?
Do you remember what it was like as a child to wake up and not find mummy or daddy near at hand - imagine if you had gone into their room and there werent there!
These people do not deserve your defence - turn your attention to the more deserving in the world, there are many many of those!

I don’t find language offensive when used like teddy boy did. I realise people feel strongly about this and will say all kinds of things relating to their depth of feelings. As long as that kind of language isn’t directed towards individuals, I have no problem with it.

I think that in the real world things would be a little different. Most people would sell/remortgage their house and to hell with the consequences. Their families would rally round and all help pay the bills. Most people also wouldnt spend the price of a house on a PR mans salary either.

I really can’t bear it. Don’t care what the questions were. I would answer anything to try to find my child. They are responsible for what their ‘team’ do, for gods sake! Keep up pretence? Once they started, no way out. They have jumped ship! If I thought my child had gone missing in Portugal, that’s where I would keep returning. I don’t have the energy to keep answering this McCann diatribe. Hope they use your money for a nice holiday home ‘in memory of our lost daughter, whats her name, you know, ‘her’ (as in they’ve taken her)

If the Mccanns were to admit that they felt Madeleine was at risk, they may well be open to a charge in the UK. However, Kate as a GP will have been briefed only recently (well, just before this all happened) in this area, as have all GP’s.
This is one of the things that makes me feel uncomfortable about them. Kate said they would take anything thrown at them as finding Madeleine was no 1 priority. She’s lying. She has been very careful indeed not to admit to any trepidation before leaving Madeleine and has been very careful to say that she regrets ‘not being there at the time Madeleine was taken’…not that she regretted leaving Madeleine. She has specifically stated, on video for us all to witness that if there had been any question about it not being safe, they would not have left the children. Again all carefully worded - self defence.
It is this, more than anything, which tells me that this woman is not a distraught lost mother. Something is not right about this ability to maintain a posture of self defence when ones child is missing.
Yes people react differently, but who would really care what anyone thought if the number one issue was the recovery of the child? In my opinion this is damage limitation underpinned by the knowledge that the child is not in any danger and is not at risk of suffering. What can provide this certainty if the child were abducted? Faith in the deity who allowed it to happen? Or knowing that the child is not in danger and is not at risk of further harm - because she is, Kate believes, in a place where further harm is not possible.

But if you want to continue to pay their mortgage, etc., well, by golly, you’ve got that right, mate!
But the rest of us seeking justice and truth for Madeleine want the PJ to seize the McCanns’ property to reimburse the Portuguese for the millions this fiasco has cost. And those threats to sue people for simply discussing…news?
If you don’t buy the McCanns’ endlessly changing story, then they start threatening you.
But hey, by all means, keep paying their mortgage!

Hmm…maybe because Gerry is just a “consultant cardiologist” as opposed to a REAL cardiologist, they will just let him replace the toner cartridges in the copiers for now. But seriously, if Gerry just examines medical records and scans and scribbles and doesn’t have to physically touch anyone, well, maybe returning to work is okay for him.
But GPs like Kate usually have to touch people during the course of their work. Oh, but since Kate apparently handles mostly cadaver patients or patients that exude cadaver-like scent, maybe it’s okay for her to return to work as well.

Oh, come on! Sounds like a bulletin from Team McCann! This is all rubbish! If they were innocent, they would have done ALL they could to assist the investigation, not hampered it with conflicting evidence and silence. They refused to answer and jumped ship. They have hired shed loads of lawyers (including extradition one) and resume their ‘lovely’ lives in a ‘lovely’ home, whilst their ‘lovely’ child is perhaps being raped daily. They know what happened to Madeleine and they are taking money given by well meaning people, some very poor, to ffurther their fame and life style. They, IMO, are evil

2. How do you know what the questions were?
3. They did not jump ship as you put it, they were planning to come back to Britain at least a week before they were made arguidos, but the Portuguese police told them to stay because they would learn something very important. Huh, some importance, they wanted to frame them and put them in jail.
4. They have hired ’shed loads of lawyers’ Richard Branson has!!!
5. They do not know what has happened to Madeleine. If they did do you think they would keep up this pretence so that people like you could sling mud at them. I don’t think so!!!
6. I have contributed to the Find Madeleine fund and will continue until she is found. No one was conned into making contributions. The fund was set up because ‘kind’ people, unlike yourself, sent donations to the McCanns and it snowballed from there. They have not once asked for any money from any source, it has been freely given. As far as I am concerned they can use the money for whatever they deem necessary to keep them sane so that they can continue to get the best investigators in the world to look for Madeleine.
AND BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY COMMENT - NO I AM NOT CONNECTED TO THE MCCANNS, BUT I JUST FEEL THAT I MUST SUPPORT THEM WHEN SO MANY ON HERE ARE CRUCIFYING THEM.
