Maybe the “abductor” wasn’t in the room, but rather just outside the window, which GM then opened and handed a bundle too…………………………………………………

fencesitter, I have read that Interpol is involved in this case in several different news reports. If you visit the Interpol websitte ttthey have Madeleine’s info posted.

On a generally gloomy day for McCann-sceptics, I offer this contribution from another Madeleine McCann Forum today. If it’s already been posted on Anorak, I apologise, I’m out most of the day at the moment:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
“Hi – I am working for a golf holiday organisation located in the Algarve (all I can say I am sorry).
“Some information I know from a good friend involved with the investigation from day 1 and still in it…You are welcome of course to destroy the credibility based on that last sentence but I do not really care as it will all come out soon…Estimated to be anytime now and by the end of the year.
“Regarding the parents the police in Portugal do have one piece of very incriminating evidence from the night of 3rd May that has something to do with a telephone call that was made on the night by one of the parents or one of the tapas group.
“This information is considered by the investigating team to absolutely show that there was no abduction and that the parents were involved in some way in the disappearance of Maddie. The detail of this information is known only to a select few senior officers in Portugal and UK. It was also referenced in the questions to Kate that she did not answer.
“I do not know what the details of this evidence are and my good friend totally refuses to give any more information despite all sorts of bribes, apparently it is THE ONE thing that the parents cannot get away with so you have to make your own conclusions on that. Why haven’ t they just charged them?
“That’s what I asked – apparently the PJ feel they have been strung along completely by the McCanns from day 1 and they are absolutely committed to preparing a watertight case that will put at least one of them away for a long time and put the other away for some time too but less.
“They want to do this because they feel that what the McCanns have done is not only detrimental to the police but on a wider scale is very detrimental to the country as a whole and the only way that the PJ can help the country to recover from that is conduct a thorough court case that leaves no one in doubt of the McCanns guilt and therefore give Portugal it’s credibility back as a tourist destination.
“They therefore do not feel rushed to charge and get it resolved – however my friend often says that they know that the most popular period for Europeans booking their summer holidays is January – I assume from that he means that they will be charged before then. In the meantime they know where they are”.
One day, sooner or later, we will know more of the truth about Madeleine’s ‘disappearance’

The full objects of the Find Madeleine fund are:
1.1.1 To secure the safe return to her family of Madeleine McCann who was abducted in Praia da Luz, Portugal, on Thursday May 3, 2007;
1.1.2 To procure that Madeleine’s abduction is thoroughly investigated and that her abductors, as well as those who played or play any part in assisting them, are identified and brought to justice;
1.1.3 To provide support, including financial assistance, to Madeleine’s family.
1.2 If the above objects are fulfilled then the objects of the foundation shall be to pursue such purposes in similar cases arising in the United Kingdom, Portugal or elsewhere.

If the abductor is so fiendishly well prepared why does he end up in the room when GM returns for his half hourly check? The abductor has had 30 minutes to do the deed in a screened, poorly lit area and in a dark apartment yet hangs around and has to hide before making the difficult climb with a young girl through a window. Sounds like a Carry On (old British comedy films for European readers) scenario to me.

Garth
You obviously think the McCanns innocent of any involvement.
I would just like you to play devil’s advocate for a moment because there must be at least SOMETHING in all this time that has made you question your view.
I personally believe they’re guilty of something very sinister but I also accept that it is still possible (however remotely) that a real abduction took place.
You must have one thing at least in your mind as a theory of how they could be guilty even if you feel they’re innocent.
What is it?

What we are asked to accept is that within this group of well educated people they ALL thought it okay to leave ALL their children, regardless of age, night waking history, upset tummies, etc in unlocked and strange rooms abroad while they went out wining and dining.
Not one person thought :”Well actually, I’m not happy at all with this, I’m staying with the kids.”
Unless they didn’t feel able to express this view because of the group dynamics.
Is there a bullying alpha person in the group who is so dominant and persuasive that the others all put their concerns in the back of their minds so as not to cause a fuss? Is there a bullish person who says “Look, it will be fine. Don’t be stupid, just do it.”
A dominant narcissistic person is not only very persuasive but it can be so ****ing draining to constantly stand up to their forceful, perceived and skewed view that they are 100% right on EVERYTHING that people around them sometimes go with the flow, or do things out of character to avoid a scene or simply the menacing tension this people can exude if they don’t get their way.
You end up doing what the narcissist says is a “compromise” but actually you don’t really want to do it all. Of course such a compromise could be “Look, if it makes everyone happy, we’ll check on them ever so often, take it in turns. Anyone going to complain about that, or can we move on?”
Of course behind closed doors, the odd person may express anxiety about the situation. They may complain that a partner has not stood up to the alpha control person. But, guess what, so as not to make a fuss they uneasily go along with it. After all, no-one else is complaining, are they? Do you want to be the one who ruins it for everyone else? And anyway.. the holiday will be over soon…..
Just a thought.

792. Mike Hondemburst,
Yes I can see a foreshadowing of how that would be possible. This is why earlier I mentioned Easter time will be like a blockbuster Hollywood movie.
Synopsis: Kate and Gerry start rolling and turning over stones and searching caves. They eventually find Madeleine. She is resurrected.
Kate and Gerry are hired by Murdoch’s religious channel and they become famous evangelists and child protection agents.

Bob 735- unfeasible isn’t a word
Adj. 1. unfeasible - not capable of being carried out or put into practice; “refloating the sunken ship proved impracticable because of its fragility”; “a suggested reform that was unfeasible in the prevailing circumstances”
October 30th, 2007 at 9:04 pm

Come on then,tell me. Why would Gerry talk to the abductor in the apartment bedroom?

Your story was OK but got a bit muddled in the denouement. Roads, directions etc.

I agree fencesitter this is what makes their refusals to be cooperative suspicious. A young child’s life is in danger and they’ve made the situation political?

October 30th, 2007 at 8:59 pm
858,
Kris, you can google for the unkinid remarks the McCanns have made through their PR and close family and friends. I don’t know if the word “moron” was expressly used but the overall tone of much of the McCann spin as to their opinion of PJ is that they (PJ) are lazy morons and UK police are brilliant and hard working. If you cannot properely interpret these sentiments then you are either a liar are not very intelligent with all due respect.

October 30th, 2007 at 8:56 pm

Yeah..have you thought of the possibility that Gerry did know the abductor was there because he spoke to him?
October 30th, 2007 at 8:55 pm

No such thing as prefect crime.It is possible all Tappas 9 had their stories set in stone in egininnig, BUT along came set after set after of other facts and leaks to cause them to keep on adjusting such things such as time lines, to outsmart the latest round they got hit with..and ended up with so many versions they have now got egg on faces.
I will concede that on holiday one does not tend to track time second by second in case one needs exact times later ..after all one goes on holiday to forget the daily grind and time bound routines…however on such a momentous occasion one would assume that they realized time was of the essence and became a focal point and therefore they had to sit and remember step by step and time by second who was where dong what etc.Not alter the times every day as news, PJ news,.leaks, or witnesses contradict them.

It very well could be you really are delusional and insane. jcb if you think the McCanns are desirous of your pennies think again.

One person states an anagram and gives a clue. First to post continues the game….if you can be bothered…….or maybe I’ll borrow Ade’s coat and survey the lower field…..
