Tony Bennett
I was in and out and read your long post from another forum too quickly. I still thought you were out in Spain so thought you were the golfer/poster.
But…do you know anything about this law change due to happen mid November?
October 30th, 2007 at 9:43 pm
Perhaps Pat Brown is getting ideas for a new book she is writing? Either that or she enjoys showing us up, maybe both!
October 30th, 2007 at 9:43 pm
Stevo 961- one of the blokes the Mcs have got defending them at the moment(even though they havn’t been charged with anything) was working for Chris Langham.

I didn’t say you were Pat Brown. I was implying that this forum is for amateur sleuths and people like myself who have nothing better to do with their time. However your reply is interestingly to the point

In my opinion you only need a lawyer if you’ve been charged with something. Even then, if you’re 100% innocent, you don’t need the top extradition lawyer charging almost a grand an hour.
October 30th, 2007 at 9:40 pm
I’m not Pat Brown…but if “fencesitter” wants to put off every newcomer to this site…then carry on…
You’re not doing the site any favours.

Stevo 951- good evening. It wasn’t TB sfriend I think, he found it on another forum. However what he posted I do agree with. The PJ are under so much scrutiny that whatever info they have has to be watertight. If the Mcs are implicated in some way they have enough money to bin off the top wack defence lawyers and employ even better top wack lawyers .

Adj. 1. unfeasible - not capable of being carried out or put into practice; “refloating the sunken ship proved impracticable because of its fragility”; “a suggested reform that was unfeasible in the prevailing circumstances”
Hopefully then it is UNFEASIBLE that the McCanns will escape being charged. I think their ship sank a long time ago. Winter’s coming and it’s cold in the water clinging to a liferaft!

Youd have to be going round with your head firmly up your arse if you dont believe that the police have a huge ace up their sleeve.
October 30th, 2007 at 9:35 pm
Tony,932
It has recently been reported , that one of the factors slowing down the investigation was the fact that phne records from the group had not yet been submitted to the PJ.Your friend was misinformed. Iam sorry.

What do you make of Tony Bennetts friend’s info?
It would make a lot of sense with the way the evidence gathering has gone if they already had compelling evidence from day 1.
It also accounts for the McCanns and their scaredy-cat tactics of employing the highest paid lawyers money can buy.

John, the whole thing sounds like a West End Farce. Doors opening and closing, people coming and going etc. It’s a wonder the McCann Fund (not Madeleine Fund) hasn’t tacked itself on to Comic Relief. Can you imagine the Tapas 9 walking round with red noses?
October 30th, 2007 at 9:26 pm
Found this site very interesting. Pat is very insightful.
Now who thinks the McScams are not implicated?

858,
Kris, you can google for the unkinid remarks the McCanns have made through their PR and close family and friends. I don’t know if the word “moron” was expressly used but the overall tone of much of the McCann spin as to their opinion of PJ is that they (PJ) are lazy morons and UK police are brilliant and hard working. If you cannot properely interpret these sentiments then you are either a liar are not very intelligent with all due respect.
Thea, Could you kindly give me one reference where the McCanns actually criticise the PJ, past or present. I seem to have missed these reports and only read the reported praise of Gerry and Kate for the PJ . Please enlighten me. One reference will do.Thank you.

Yes, but knowing the McCanns, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were also linked to that Major who cheated on “Millionaire” with those timely coughs.

Are you joking ?
October 30th, 2007 at 9:23 pm

You must have one thing at least in your mind as a theory of how they could be guilty even if you feel they’re innocent.
I think all the theories have been expended. Not one of them make sense.
I’ll put the question to you. Do you not think it more likley (putting aside what you think of the McCanns) that the child was taken?

Your info is interesting. Can you ask your friend if the law change in Portugal is likely to have any bearing on the timing of any potential charges?

848 – Rationalist
These biometrical analyses are always a little complicated to understand at first. One of our scientists usually takes three days to simplify it so I can understand. Then it takes me three days to understand the simplified version and simplify it again so others can understand. Here is the address. http://www.droitfondamental.eu/06-McCann-biometrie_madeleine_bouchra-GB.htm. I don’t know if I have done a good job, but in my point of view, it is absolutely obvious that the Rif mountains have to be searched from top to bottom. If one child was found, others can be found.
Another thing: people usually tempt to make believe in diabolically intelligent people in these networks. In truth, many criminals involved have a very low IQ, just knowing how to lie to get away. I doubt in the “diabolical maid” who would have tipped off the network. It just takes a member of the staff to laugh at these English people taking turns to see if the children are alright rather than using the babysitting service, this to drop in the ear of a boyfriend, who tells a friend (etc.) for the network to go and check if it is true. Then organised crime can start.

I think i may have cracked it, any quiz players out there know that if team members keep disappearing from the bar it is usually to use a mobile phone. Perhaps this is why the PJ want access to mobile phone records. Maybe the only thing they are guilty of is cheating
