Madeleine McCann: A Titanic Struggle With The Germans And Slavery In Morocco
MADDY WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY EXPRESS front page: “IS MADELEINE A CHILD SLAVE IN MOROCCO?”
“Madeleine McCann may have been condemned to a life of slavery working as a ‘little maid’ for a rich Arab family…” Or not
Page 5: “’Madeleine will be used as a little maid’” – so suggests Inspector Hicham Alaoui of the Moroccan Police in El Hajeb near Fez
Little maids, notes the paper, are “collected by rich families as ‘curiosities’ as well as servants. A woman from a group called Ecpatuk says such children are “vulnerable to abuse”. The Express sys the girls are abused “physically, emotionally and sexually”. Can Madeleine McCann be among them? Maybe…
“Sacked detective called in to help with the probe” – Chief Inspector Goncalo Amaral is talking with new chief Paulo Rebelo
“Fury over magazine ‘sick’ ads” – German magazine titanic has lampooned the case, using Madeleine’s image in spoof supermarket adverts. Gerry and Kate McCann call it “sick” and “very hurtful”. The magazine says Madeleine McCann is “getting a bit much for many people”
DAILY MIRROR front page: “Clear us… you have no case”
Says a friend of Kate and Gerry McCann: “They are adamant they should now be cleared”, as are many suspects in ongoing investigations
Page 7: “McCann ‘clear us’ demand’” – Says Clarence Mitchell: “If the reports are true clearly it would indicate the police absolutely, and quite rightly, have no case against Kate and Gerry”
DAILY MAIL front page: “Oh. Come off it, Heather, how dare you compare your ordeal to Kate McCann’s?” Heather Mills is on the telly
Page 7: “Police pursuit of McCanns ‘is running out of steam’” – The public prosecutor in Portugal says Kate and Gerry McCann will not face further police interviews “unless detectives can produce stronger evidence against them”
Mark Williams-Thomas, a former detective with Surrey Police, says the McCann’s private detectives could be on the wrong trail in Morocco. Or not
THE SUN page 24: “GERMAN MAG’S SICK JOKES ABOUT MADDIE – McCanns’ horror as spoof ad pokes fun at lost girl”
Ad advert in satirical Titantic magazine promises the kitchen cleaner will “remove all traces at the home” even DNA traces. The adverts warn that just because Madeleine’s face is on the product it does not mean they can be taken for free. The Sun is disgusted. It reproduces the images and the words to allow its readers to share in its disgust
A march on the German embassy is not yet in the planning
DAILY STAR front page: “MADDIE SICK NEW TWIST – Horror at German abuse of missing tot”
The Germans have her. A German paedo!
Page 7: “TOTALLY SICK – A full reproduction of the spoof adverts. “McCann’s agony as rag mocks hunt for Maddie.” Thanks to the Star and Sun, the McCanns now know that an obscure German magazines has made jokes about their case
Says Clarence Mitchell: “It shows Madeleine herself no respect… The magazine did not seek permission to use Madeleine’s image to be used on this so-called joke. It they had it would almost certainly not have been given”
So much for doing anything to keep Madeleine in the news
THE INDEPENDENT page 5: “Mills: I am treated as badly as Kate McCann and Diana.” More on Lady Mucca
THE TELEGRAPH page 9: “Madeleine police ‘consult sacked head of inquiry’” – chief inspector Goncalo Amaral is on the case. Sort of
The paper says detectives are “no closer to solving the case”. And the campaign to find Madeleine goes on…
THE TIMES and THE GUARDIAN: No Madeleine news today

Dora 479- I am a great mother??? Allowing your child to run up and down aisles in a shop expecting to be chased shows a total lack of parental control and discipline. Surely you should keep your child under control in a public place. A good old fashioned hard smack works wonders with my four year old.

When i was a child, I was friendly with two sisters. The eldest was quite plain and the youngest incredibly pretty. however, on close inspection, the two were identical, the only difference being that the eldest had her dirty hair hacked short and was dressed in cheap ugly clothes and the youngest had beatiful shiny long blonde locks and pretty clothes - facially they were identical but they were treated very differently.
When I hear what I thought was a description of how the twins had been taken out but Madeleine left behind, I was immediately reminded of the favoured and abused sisters

Is a bit hazy as to whether or not Clarence
ac tually stayed with him throughout the
1/2 day shift.
Perhaps he had to make space for the
security police who tagged along.
If all were still around all morning
must have been a tad crowded.

Ross, I don’t think I’ve ever heard Gerry sound as if he was talking through tears.
We’ve seen a lot of parents of missing/murdered children give appeals and interviews on T.V. and we’ve never had to debate if they were crying or not, or visibly upset or not - I’m sticking with my gut instinct, for whatever good or bad reason, the McCanns are not reacting in public the way parents normally do.
Also, if they were reacting the way people usually do - we wouldn’t have this ‘not letting the perv get off on their crying’ excuse that the media has been heavily reminding us off. Plus their fans wouldn’t have to keep telling us that we were sick/spiteful/astonishing for trying to make them cry in public etc.

http://gazetadigitalarquivo.blogspot.com/2007/10/whos-afraid-of-mccann.html Total proof of the innocence of the devout couple, compare that to the total guilt of the Met in the shooting of young Mendez, found guilty at “elf an safety” hearing today token fine,no one to blame for this unfortunate “accident x 7 bullets in head” and the Brits have the nerve to slate the PJ.

I was reading about Madeleine’s photos. Hideki thinks there is something wrong with her neck or spine. Well I don’t know what it would be but, whilst people focus only at her eyes with aesthetic in mind, thinking solely how beautiful the fact she has double coloured eyes it might reveal something much more complex related to her health and coincidentally related to her back or neck.
I mentioned before what is a fact that anyone here can see: Madeleine has “heterochromia iridis” , that is the difference of color in the two irides, or in different areas in the same iris. It is a result of the relative excess or lack of pigment within an iris or part of an iris, which may be inherited or acquired by disease or injury.
Injury in the spine or neck area… is it coincidency Hideki… or are we going to a much more complex subject with a further intrication?

And so, is the hospital going to give Clarence a little desk, and a chair, and a phone and some pencils….I mean….lol! Who’s paying for Clarence to take up valuable office space there? Is every employee allowed to bring their press advisor to work with them? Or does Clarence just wait in the parking lot?

515. Pitty is reading a book on Jack the Ripper and he did his worst at night right under the noses of lots of people and he was a slicer and dicer/slasher/ within ear shot of the beat cops and near open pubs…….
November 1st, 2007 at 4:04 pm
Well, Pitty Isn’t very nice - but she is a Criminal Profiler and also a mystic psychic that speaks to animals………….she’s a Criminal Profiler because she has mystic visions of crimes and hence her take is one up on those that just read the newspapers.
She says that if the Mc’s never went out on foot searches with the Police after the first night of frantic looking, if they never joined the local people, then you can bet your sweet bippy, they (The Mc’s) know M. is dead and had something to do with it……..
(Now she also said that yes guilty people do look for their children, but marginally, so what do we have here?) Any guesses?

Afternoon all.
Nearly hometime from work so will someone please answer my question before I have to go.
What is Huelva? and what does it have to do with Madeleine.
Did G&K McConn visit there in the Scenic to look at the view or something?
November 1st, 2007 at 4:01 pm
I just noticed the McCanns say Madeleine had only 15 mins between 9.30 and 9.45 to be kidnapped in. With all that Tapas 9 traffic and only 15 mins, that is one brave perv.
Or they’re talking crap to make themselves look good, as usual.

What, can the man not even walk alone?
But I suppose the idea that Gerry might just blurt something out is probably intolerable and very frightening to whoever is actually paying Clarence.
Imagine how different the case might be if the McCanns actually had to function on their own, without taking fund money, without so many people…so many paid, professional people…hovering….
The McCanns have these advantages–when people die on the operating table, it’s always an operation that went perfectly, according to every medical professional in the room. No doctor, no nurse, no orderly or tech ever, ever “rats” out another medical pro. So the McCanns are protected, and will protect, the Tapas 9 or 10 or 11. And the Portuguese and British “super” lawyers create another protective wedge, although we see that this slips up from time to time, mostly from the McCanns believing their own PR. Such legal strongholds are difficult to crack open.
This was the case with the Ramseys.
Of course, the Ramseys were rich and powerful on their own, self-made millionaires.
the McCanns are erratically-employed physicians who cannot pay their own mortgage. So one can fairly ask–who is steering their ship? Who out there is protecting them?
I do suspect psychiatrist knows!

I can’t believe that my interaction with Mike Hitchen is causing me to write like I AM on the McCanns side, but here goes.
As far as I know, no proof has been found that confirms the McCanns guilt or Madeleine’s death, at this point. We believe the PJ has found DNA evidence that would lead to the theory that the parents were involved in the transport of Madeleine’s body. As of yet, no forensic test results have been officially released, no further evidence has been presented, and no arrests have been made. That does not make them innocent, but it does not confirm their guilt, either.
I hunger for the day when proof is presented, and if the McCanns are guilty, they are brought to trial and convicted.
On this forum, most of us use the good sense to express our opinions as such, not to present these opinions as factual and that we have inside information to back up our claims. That is very wrong to do, if in fact, there is no such inside, reliable information to base those claims on.
Mike Hitchen regularly waves a hint to his blog readers like a juicy tidbit for them to feed on and keep them coming back regularly to read his blogs. I seriously suspect he is talking out of his hat.

when news of the disappearance was first broadcast ie very early May 4th, I am sure i heard that the twins were elsewhere and Madeleine was alone in the appartment. did anyone else hear this - the story vanished very quickly and now i can find no trace

I must admit that carrying cuddle cut everywhere seems a bit naff, but still in the first appeals, when Kate said “please, please don’t hurt her”, Gerry’s voice didn’t seem normal: to me it appeared as he was speaking through tears. If it is acting, it seems pretty good to me, but then I don’t watch many films

G’afternoon all!
You know, I hate crime and criminals, but, usually, don’t spend all day long concerning about them, and finally, I hope that justice deal with them… That’s all. But… Do you want to know why McCanns have involved me in their prosecution ? Because they have laughed at me during six months, they have mocked at me, they have insulted my reason, my common sense… They have ever though that we (the society) are fucking stupid, naive followers of the elite’s exclusive rules… Watch out McCanns, the comedy is over!

My visions are fine and dandy! You are dreary as ditch water. Do you honestly believe it all? Really, really, really?
November 1st, 2007 at 3:55 pm
Dora - why do you identify so intensely with the McCanns?
Are you a crap parent too - whose child is alive by the Grace of God?
Since you seem to be American - and since in America it’s illegal to leave a child alone in a hotel room or a building - then I don’t understand why you’re so protective.
In an unsolved case anyone can be guilty - you can’t rule the parents out because you have a sentimental attachment to the idea that they’re innocent.
