Madeleine McCann: Mafia, A Bag Of Clothes And Missing Children
MADDY WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
NEWS OF THE WORLD: “Maddie DNA clue in airport bag”
A bag of clothes containing “DNA linked to Madeleine McCann” has been found dumped by a road in Portugal.” It is a white carrier bag. It was in a layby two weeks ago near Faro airport.
“The bag contained a blue fleece jacket and a pair of adult jeans with traces of DNA that contained ‘moderate’ links to Madeleine”. And: “There was also a SHOWER CURTAIN inside.” And a white flannel, a green elastic band, a light green child’s T-shirt with a green flower on the front and a pink and blue pencil case with a pink heart motif
“Godfather in Madeleine hunt… Crime godfathers in Morocco—where there have been several alleged sightings of Maddie - have been told cops will scale back drug busts if they do”
SUNDAY MIRROR front page: “MY LITTLE MADDY” - a picture of Madeleine McCann on a pony with Kate McCann by her side
• “McCanns heartache as Cops say: “Case closes in 7 weeks
• Police to leave cloud of suspicion over Kate and Gerry”
SUNDAY EXPRESS front page: “MADELEINE MYSTERY – McCANN FRIENDS TO BE NAMED AS SUSPECTS”
“Dr Russell O’Brien and his partner Jane Tanner, Matthew Oldfield and Dr David Payne were last night forced to bring in their own lawyers after increasing fears that Portuguese police were preparing to implicate them in the case of the vanished four-year-old girl”
So will they be named as suspects or not? The Express say yes and then prevaricates
DAILY STAR ON SUNDAY front page: “MADDIE SIX MONTHS ON – 15 NEW CLUES”
That picture of Madeleine McCann on a horse. A clue?
SUNDAY PEOPLE: “ANSWER OUR PRAYERS - ON THE SIX-MONTH ANNIVERSARY OF LOSING MADDIE Kate weeps at church service for Maddie as parents suffer crushing blow”
“The devout couple first took two-year-old twins Sean and Amelie for ‘a few moments of solitude’ at their village church to remember missing Maddie”
A solitude watched by person who told the press? No need with Clarence Mitchell to fill in the gaps, Says he: “Kate and Gerry wanted a few moments of solitude praying for Madeleine with the twins”
Inside the church: “A collage of pictures of a happy Maddie - including the one…of her sitting on a black Shetland pony - took pride of place near the altar. Six snaps of the youngster next to smiling faces of other missing children were pinned onto a green notice board. Supporters were encouraged to look at the pictures before praying”
And they pray for…
The People looks at “respected” Portuguese daily Publico, which tells: “Six months on from Madeleine’s disappearance, the police theory remains the same. That the child died by accident in her room - and her parents committed the crime of hiding her body”
DAILY MAIL: “Madeleine’s parents hold prayer vigil six months to the minute after she disappeared”
There are about 200 people at the “700-year-old church” near Rothley, Leicestershire
The McCanns are suspects
“Other missing children - including British toddler Ben Needham, who disappeared while on holiday in Greece in 1991, were also remembered at the service”
Did Ben Needham’s family ask for this? Want it?
Says the Rev Rob Gladstone: “Comfort and liberate all those, especially young children who have been taken from their families against their will, give courage to their grieving families”
A board says “Pray for all missing children.” How were the faces on the board selected? Many children are missing
THE INDEPENDENT: “Six months after Madeleine, another 600 are still missing”
Missing persons charities yesterday released figures “showing that more than 600 children have been missing in the UK for as long as Madeleine McCann, and are still unaccounted for”
Many are foreign. Many are teenagers. Not all are blonde
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “Prayers for Madeleine McCann, six months on”
“The 3,500-strong population of Rothley - its trees decked in yellow ribbons and messages of support - came to a near standstill as Kate and Gerry arrived from their nearby home”
Locals can’t move for the press?
Rothley is an “affluent Midlands enclave”. This is McCann Land – the enclave - a small territory culturally and ethnically different form the surrounding lands
Says Gerry in his blog: “We have no idea whether she is suffering, but we have to hope and pray that she is being treated like a princess, as she deserves”
THE GUARDIAN: “Madeleine book notes the ‘contradictions’”
More on Maddie 129, a book by Hernani Carvalho and Luis Maia
“The message is that the case just doesn’t add up,” says a representative of the book’s publishers
THE SCOTSMAN: “Six months on, McCanns in new Maddie plea”
The picture of Madeleine on a Shetland pony was taken on a day out at the Hatton Country World park in Warwickshire on April 13 – “less than three weeks before she went missing”
THE TIMES: “Gerry McCann: ‘our princess prayer for Madeleine’”
Gerry McCann’s blog: “It is so painful for us simply being separated, but all the more distressing when we have to speculate about the situation Madeleine finds herself [in]. We have no idea whether she is suffering but we have to hope and pray that she is being treated like a princess, as she deserves”

284…Dr. Watson
Am sure soothsayer will enlighten you
about that….best to ask him I’d say.
November 4th, 2007 at 1:42 pm
Tony Bennett,
Have you noticed, the yesterday soothsayer’s posts 704, 708, 711? I think he was trying to write from someone else to himself but forgot to change the name, and then in 711 tried to reprimand the imaginary “name thief”. I suspect he is playing games with us. I always trusted his posts, and many other people relied on what he wrote. But, what if it is soothsayer, forget Garth, Stig, Coolandc…etc. is the cleverest person who makes us believe what he wants us to believe. For some important reason… Would you please look into this - I may be very wrong?

I also think it unusual for baby teeth to be spaced like that.
That’s another thing in common between Madeline and Baby Grace.
November 4th, 2007 at 1:40 pm
Lilith …. hmmm very suspicious I’d say …. although certain others would say it’s “ludicrous”!
You seem to be quite good at scratching out photos. Maybe you can find the one I’m looking for ….. it was released around about the time that Madeleine was supposed to go to school (end August I think). I’ve only ever seen it once, and it was on a newspaper report about her supposed to go to school. It was labelled as a picture taken in the garden of their Rothley home shortly before they went to PdL. She had a dark t-shirt on in the pic. (It’s not the one that she has the football club t-shirt on - it’s another one). I have a very good reason for wanting to see this photo again, and it’s just GONE!

Why should have Kate bleached M.´s Hair? Toddler Hair bleaches on sun in a very fast time, no need to bleach
I think its only a very low quality pic.

I take your point but I have seen nothing to convince me that Madeleine’s parents were involved in peodophile activities using there own child. Lucrative though that might be I have also seen no evidence to suggest that they were desparate for money.
On the contrary nobody has managed to dig up anything detrimental about the couple - and they have tried. Maybe Kate lived life to the full at uni - not particularily unuasual.
Finally - the photograph taken of Madeleine by the pool reflects a well loved child enjoying her holiday with her family - nothing in her face to reflect sexual abuse of the nature that you seem to be something of an expert in.
However it is of course possible that she was passed to a or taken by a paedophile ring.

277 Lilith, I see a shadow on her upper left arm from Gerry’s claws, err I mean, hand. I think they are suspicious and strange but you’ll have to find a better photo than that imho.

Note also how his left fingers are digging into her arm….
…that is not a loving supportive pose by Dr G….very
controlling to my mind.

Good point Will.
Also, Nelson only had one eye and one arm. It was lucky that the French attacked from the right.

Question I’d like to ask here (purely for my own interest).
How many of you have known of a small child who has all their milk teeth, who have little gaps between upper and lower teeth?
I have three children, not one of them had a gap between any of their milk teeth, and if I recall friend’s and family’s children, only one had a gap between the upper two teeth at milk teeth stage.

Taybie, Madeleine Beth McCann born 12 May 2003 in Leicester, England. You can request birth records for a small fee if you wish to verify this.

Kate bleached Madeleine’s hair.
Here’s a photo of Madeleine with red hair, this is the color that emerges when you leave the bleach in too short.

Garth
I’ve just browsed through yesterday’s thread and noticed that “wtf” was asking about Maddy’s history before the times when the offically released photos were taken - the youngest she seems to be on these is 2 years old.
I think you will agree that there has been quite a blend of fact and fiction in this case for some time, so perhaps you could help me clear up a couple of things. Do we know where Maddy was born? We know the date, 12 May 2003. Her birth certificate should be a public record and open to everyone. Also, when was she baptised? Again, as someone said yesterday, the baptism was at the Holy Name church in Liverpool. Again we don’t know the date and again the baptism certificate should be a public record. Finally, where were Sean and Amelie born?
Just thought that you might be able to give me some links, because the more we sort the wheat from the chaff the less speculation there will be.
Tony Bennett, perhaps you can assist.

265. They are not on sale in Europe, BUT they are sold in every big Tesco throughout the UK.
Oh silly me I had thought the UK was Europe. We don’t have Tesco in the US to my knowledge. The Cherokee brand is sold through Target here.
Even though Cherokee is sold in the UK I doubt very much this little girl is Madeleine.
November 4th, 2007 at 1:15 pm
265 - also remember that Gerry asked O’Brien to check on Kate during that tennis session. Why?

More than one way to hold a key. The position of the lock is relative and never absolute!
How is it that it is the blind who always lead the seeing into battle?
November 4th, 2007 at 1:13 pm
Several thoughts:
1) Baby Grace was wearing Cherokee brand clothes. They are not on sale in Europe, BUT they are sold in every big Tesco throughout the UK! I am not sure if there is Tesco with Cherokee in the USA. It does point to the possibility of British origin of the body , washed still from Portugal, along the Columbo route.
2) The girls face is having as much likeness with M. as possible when drawing from a decomposed body. You can not expect better likeness to be achieved.
3) All British press and Mitchell keep desperately quiet about Baby Grace. Why?Why do not they consider that an abductor could have killed M. and dumped her body in the sea? This is far more credible “sighting” than Morocco…
4)coolandcalm tries to make us believe that “tennis” was with the instructor… however the initial claim was that it was social tennis with Tapas men, but later the story was changed. And the new claim - only claim - appeared about a tennis “lesson”. But the next day, 4th of May, Gerry allegedly DID have a tennis lesson, according to people who were not part of the team. It is unlikely Gerry had booked everyday lessons. So Tony Bennett might be still right : instead of tennis, or while pretending to be playing tennis, they could be discussing the plan for “abduction”.
5)It is very important, that the Mc. never threatened to sue for the most serious and damning allegation: body present in the tyre well on their car. This is the couple who made 4 threats to sue : the news paper for the correct claim that “police believe they killed M”, claim that “G. is not the father”, psychologist for his claim “K. crying was staged”, German press for pictures on adverts.
WHY do not they try to sue for the claim “THE BODY WAS in their hire car” - printed all across the press, incl. British? Maybe because it might turn out to be TRUE?
November 4th, 2007 at 1:12 pm
How come this bag they’ve found isn’t getting much press attention? The way the News of the World write it, it seems to be the best piece of evidence so far.

Unfortunately people, especially children, go missing every day. There are a great number of methods in place to help find the missing BUT one very obvious method is totally ignored, not to say impossible until WrapMail (www.wrapmail.com) developed its technology: email. Not email-blasts BUT using the emails people send every day anyway (one-on-one emails)!
Corporate and Government employees send emails ever day, these emails go to the public, business and government agencies but when they arrive they are plain black on white.
Each of these emails could have a wrap surrounding the email that in addition to information and links to the respective websites also could feature pictures of missing adults and/or children. WrapMail, Inc.’s technology allows for dynamic rotation so that every single email that is sent out could feature new missing kids so that every single one is exposed to the receiving audience. There are already RSS feeds out with data on missing kids that can be incorporated into a wrapmail. This is the milk carton of the 21st Century! All emails that leave WrapMail, Inc. have an amber alert on the bottom, currently linking to missing children in Florida where WrapMail is headquartered. This RSS feed comes from the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
These pictures could have embedded hyperlinks that lead to pages with more details (such as more pictures, last seen, clothes worn, last seen with etc).
There are about 50 billion emails sent every day; one-on-one emails that is, every one of them could be looking for missing children.
The bottom line is that these emails are sent every day anyway – why not use them for something good? WrapMail offers their solution for free for approved organizations (organizations that focus on finding missing adults and children) as they, like everyone else, send external emails every day. WrapMail further offers its clients to incorporate this feature for free either with just an amber alert or a rotation of missing people with every outbound email.
WrapMail also offers a free solution found at http://www.mywrapmail.com where users can set up a free email account and then build their own wrap with pictures and links.

Afternoon, all, this is my third attempt to say long time no see. I was waiting for something concrete on the “PJ to reinterview Tapas 7″ story - will have to wait a little longer I think.
Bishop Brennan, post 72, regarding motive. Yes it does seem unlikley that 3 doctors would help dispose of a body just out of a sense of loyalty. That level of collusion would only be possible if they had all been involved in a serious crime together, or if there was a real fear of physical violence etc for breaking ranks.]
Lilith 106 - excellent post, thanks.
Hideki 120 and Cant Say No 168, I’m not sure about the pedo link but I do agree that things could have been arranged with some haste on 3 May. If, for example, there was a pre-meditated plan to get rid of someone, and the Luz holiday was earmarked as the opportunity, it would’ve made more sense for example to hire a boat to go out to sea on a pleassure trip, and for said someone to “fall overboard.” The question is how long the killers had on 3 May.
