There’s no silence. The Texas police are working with the Galveston police on it. It’s possible but not so likely.
What’s odd, though, is that the McCanns don’t even raise the inquiry, yet they spend hundreds of thousands of pounds sending private detectives to Morocco. Why not go to Texas, and check out “baby Grace?”
If I had rich billionaire friends with private jets, I’d be on my way right now. But they don’t move….

If my calculator’s translation between centimeters and inches is correct, BG was a full 3-5 inches shorter than Madeleine, and the dental expert says the teeth are from a child 2-3 years of age. The description clearly states that her hair was wavy. This, if nothing else, is why the Texas investigators are not following Madeleine as a “hot” possibility at this point. Unfortunately, she’s probably local.
Still think the issue of the coloboma and potential other birth defects is interesting tho’.

the straightforward question that nobody’s yet answered publicly is: “Is Gerry McCann Madeleine’s biological (i.e., DNA-matching) father? If not, then why not? whassaproblem?
Is GM the “twins’” biological (i.e., DNA-matching) father? If not, then why not?
Same for Kate. Her appearance is so very gaunt, it seems unlikely she could carry a normal pregnancy, let alone one so very high-risk as IVF. And did they use a surrogate mother/egg/ or both? If so, why?
These are really good questions that will tell us a lot about the McCanns.
You’d think with all the rumour and speculation, they’d be flaunting pregnancy pics, live birth videos, etc. No, we just get a black and white “family” pic where little Madeleine seems disconnected to “the family,” just squeezed in, really.
If the twins were conceived in The Netherlands, were they actually born there? Did Kate carry them? Having the twins born and “surrogated” abroad would certainly have avoided a lot of pestery questions from friends and families, would it have not?

where did the story about check-in come from?
it was shown live on all the TV news. They were shown queueing up and going thru check in along with everyone else on the flight! And they were in the departure lounge with everyone else. They boarded the flight ahead of the rest of the passengers but so did others with children.
Be interested to know where the story came from…..
In this day and age even private jet passengers have to go thru the same procedures as everyone else with immigration, luggage xrays and customs. Quicker of course and there are dedicated staff to smooth the passage through the airport but it still has to happen.

It’s funny you say this because I distinctly remember seeing a photo of the royal family at the airport and the text said that they were in either a VIP section or something similar - private anyway. Mr. McCann was joshing with the boy twin, jamming a hat, or a bowl, on his head….

I looked into official UK documents about IVF, and I think that it is not possible for Gerry to “forge” anything, because by law, even if the unknown donor was used, Gerry as a legal husband of Kate’s HAD to be entered on the birth certificate. They had IVF as a couple, so for all perposes Gerry is a legal father. It is lawful for his name to be on the cert.
I am Not from team Mccann, and I believe M. has no physical likeness with Mccann’s side, and I work with faces everyday professionally. But I cannot understand how an accusation of forgery can be right.

While I’ve just commented to Hideki that I found the detail in post 145 ‘distasteful’, I don’t think there was any claim that the ‘last photo’ showed a child that was obviously the victim of some abuse?
As many here have commented, it is generally impossible to tell from any ‘normal’ photograph whether a person is being abused or not. Young people especially have no reference points to tell them that they are being abused, to them, the abuse is sadly just a part of their ‘normal’ life and they have no evidence/reason to suspect that others are not treated exactly the same as they are. It is therefore perfectly possible for an abused person to appear in ‘happy family’ photographs.

A couple of facts you won’t get from Team McCann:
1. The Catholic Church banned Team McCann from using the Church of the Sacred Bleeding Heart for yesterday’s publicity stunt. (Despite the fact that it’s quite big enough to handle the tens of people who turned up.)
2. The stunt was boycotted by the Catholic clergy (sorry - I meant “they forgot to turn up”).

I’ve already tried that through Ancestry.co.uk, got nowhere. Then again, maybe a block has been put on that certificate for legit reasons i.e. to stop sickos buying it and trying to sell copies on eBay or whatever. The Baptism was in Liverpool, not Leicester, though that could be because Kate and her family are from there and they particularly wanted their friend Fr Seddon to officiate. Any idea when the baptism was?
Tony Bennett 288 - Yes, the dearth of info on Maddy on the official site is odd I think, basically Maddy was born 4 years ago and now meet the rest of her family. We have seen photos of Kate with a baby in her arms, but this is a friend’s baby - no “babe in arms” photos of Maddy. It would be so easy for the PR people to post copies of the birth and baptism records just to stop the speculation, though again there could be legit reasons for not doing this e.g. to stop idiots abusing the documents. Would you know how to order the birth certificate on the info Thea has given?

Sky News website yesterday: “A spokesman for the McCanns said the visit to the church was not part of any campaign to keep Madeleine’s name in the public eye”.
The spokesman is unnamed and so we can assume it was not Clarrie. So who was off-message? Kate’s father?

Why do you feel the need to make your point by describing in graphic detail your ‘speculations’? There is absolutely no evidence to support the suggestion that the activities you so graphically describe actually took place. It is one thing to speculate whether there may have been any emotional, physical or sexual abuse involved in any wrongdoing, it’s quite another to describe the detail of these imagined events. Please note, I am NOT suggesting therefore that such activities did not occur, neither you nor I know what may have happened, at this time.
This is a public forum. As such it can be read by a wide age range. Also, it is not unlikely that extended family and friends of the family may either read these forums or, more probably, find what’s posted here being quoted elsewhere as some sort of ‘pseudo fact’. The extended family and friends have been placed in the most invidious position as they mostly will have access to the same media reports that we do. Whatever their private misgivings may be they are doubtless expected to show ‘blind loyalty’ to Madeleine’s parents. Can you imagine what it would be like for one of those extended family and friends to read your detailed speculations? Can you imagine how they would feel if their child had been left with the McCann’s at any time? It’s not unusual for children of Madeleine’s age to be already having ‘sleepovers’ with other family and friends.
If you have any evidence that the activities you describe took place and/or that the people to which you refer to have a history of such activities, then fine, please let the appropriate authorities know about this.
You said in your post, “The truth hurts, but there is nothing to do but face up to it….”. Tell me please, where is the truth in the details you felt appropriate to share with everyone here?
And before anyone shoots me down, I’m not convinced of the McCann’s innocence in relation to Madeleine’s disappearance, I’m just not certain of what they may be guilty of.

thank you!! It shows that it is not wise to blindly believe some cryptic poster. If they were serious, they would not try to “add points” to themselves.
And about B. G. : Madeleine had the height 90 cm (way below normal height), coloboma in the eye which demonstrated a genetic defect, and there are no speaking videos. It might be that she had a delayed development, something like mild charge or turner’s syndrome (I have no idea), her teeth could also have emerged later, who knows? Height matches 100%, 90cm. It also could explain a motif…
What makes me suspicious that it could be her is the silence from the press and team Mc. If it for sure was not, they would be fantasising about a cruel abductor by now.
Regarding Mccanns allegedly destroying the body : we must remember that time was limited, that they were under stress, and if even the body was just dropped into an open sea in the box, the likelihood of it being found is small. So they could sound confident anyway.
I also think that there is one more moral boundary to overcome between “sending the body to sea or earth” and cutting it into pieces or burning it. I hope they did not dare to literally destroy it. I hope.
