REPLY: Garth, let me, please, ask you two sincere questions:
1. Does it strike you as strange, or not, that the world’s press had to wait three weeks for that last (digital) photo of Madeleine to be produced by the McCanns? They could have run it down to the local photo-print shop the next day. Three *weeks*, Garth, not three *days*
2. Does it strike you as strange, or not, that the McCanns could only produce one photo of Madeleine on holiday in Praia da Luz (so far as I am aware, anyway)?
Forgive me for suggesting this, but IMO you do not have a very good track record on this Forum of answering questions from other posters. If I am wrong about this, I apologise in advance.
I look forward to your replies.
P.S. I am told by many that it is easy to change the time of a photo on a digital camera. There are whole threads on other Forums devoted to whether or not Madeleine could have been digitally added to that photo

Very interesting. ASDA is likely to sell Walmart clothes. Over here in Walmart you can get the “George” brand - which is from ASDA. So, you can’t rule that out very easily can you?

Oddjob was GOLDFINGER’S sidekick. The little guy in Man with the Golden Gun was called NIKNAK.
Not sure of the actor’s name but he also played the little sidekick to Ricardo Montablan in the “Fantasy Island” TV series. Lets hope we’ll be seeing him soon at Exeter Airport, pointing upwards and saying “Da plane, boss, da plane.”
That is, the plane carrying Amaral and the rest of the PJ.
Fantasy Island? Giving my age away, but not 100% offbeam in the context of the McCanns.

I am a great believer in helping the planet by recycling rubbish. I feel supporters of the McCanns being positive and thinking individuals will agree it is a good policy.

No way around this uncomfortable truth.
If the McCanns want all the stories/insinuation/”lies” to stop, then all they have to do is get on a plane back to Portugal and…….yes………help the PJ with their enquiries.
That way, as they are obviously 100% innocent, they will be quickly ruled out as suspects and the PJ can concentrate of nailing whoever was responsible for abducting their little girl.
So what’s stopping them?

I don’t think these issues are at the front of their minds. KM said in her interview on Spanish TV that she would “take anything thrown at her” and they both said all the arguido stuff was as nothing to their feelings on the night they found Madeleine gone. I can relate to that.
Nevertheless, IF they are innocent, then accusations that they killed their child, desecrated her body etc. etc, must be desperately difficult to take on top of their grief. I myself would probably also want to sue under similar circumstances. I’d sue the pants off them for such obscene suggestions. Remember, KM was asked to confess to precisely that. IF, I repeat, IF she is innocent, she must naturally feel unbelievably distressed by that, especially as it proved the police had stopped looking for Madeleine.
It’s not at the front of their minds; that’s pretty obvious, but they’d be less than human if they didn’t even think about it. In any case, they have a lot of advisers and lawyers who won’t let them forget about these things.
My impression, nothing more, is that they (especially GM) are trying to reestablish some degree of normality in their lives. He said they had the “infrastructure” to ensure the search continues. They definitely won’t depend on the police because the PJ will be forced to drop the case as an active investigation before too long even if the dossier is never closed completely. The McCanns will never, ever stop looking but I think they are trying to put that more in the background and normal life (never normal without Madeleine anyway) more in the foreground. My impression is that GM finds that easier than his wife. I don’t want to be sexist but maybe that’s natural. He was never used to spending as much time with the children as Kate who only worked part time since having Madeleine. His work as a specialist was obviously a hugely important part of his life.
I think KM will find it very nearly impossible to get used to this new “normality”. That’s just my impression. I think she felt nearer normality in Portugal because she felt closer to Madeleine and possibly, psychologically, that the little girl could come back. It must be much, much harder at home because she’s forced to accept the reality of Madeleine being gone, however much she says the opposite.
Of course, if they are guilty of anything sinister, it’s a different ball game….
Anyway, enough rambling. I’ll have Judith C telling me off again (I’m sooo scared!) but I think we will see them suing if they’re cleared. Their lawyers will sort that one out. If they are innocent I’d wish them every success in the venture, and Murat as well. NOTHING ever makes up for the loss of reputation and the rags responsible should eventually have to compensate.

Perhaps not many photos of Madeleine were taken full stop. If it was premeditated the less information the better. They can’t release any because there are none.
