Inside the church: “A collage of pictures of a happy Maddie - including the one…of her sitting on a black Shetland pony - took pride of place near the altar. just reading on on that report which is a bit conflicting….headlines say maddy ruled out however the actual qoute from the sherriff is
“We’re confident it’s not her,” Galveston County Sheriff’s
which to my way of thinking is not completely ruled out…probably not her but case not closed yet

It is said that the recently-established hotline to report sighting costs EUR 0.85 per minute (about 50p). It seems strange that such an important line should be a premium rate number rather than a standard rate (or even free) number. Can anyone confirm this?

I was one of those posters who thought Baby Grace could be Madeleine, as there seemed to be many similarities between both girls.
It is good to have the results on whether or not BG was Madeleine so soon after the body was found.

Doesn’t anyone want to comment on the official report that it has been confirmed by the authorities working with the FBI, Interpol, and the PJ, that Baby Grace is NOT Madeleine.
Jolie, thank you for the official confirmation and yes you were right. I felt it wasn’t her either and I read this morning that they were simply ruling Madeleine out of the investigation. Ithink many bloggers agreed.Iread Judith C last night saying she didn’t think so either. However heads up on the info. Thanks. Now lets go back to disagreeing.

Jolie, I don’t really know what you want us to discuss/comment about? If it’s been officially ruled out, it no longer has anything to do with Madeleine’s case-until we hear new information (who the girl is, if it is Shipman- is her father responsible for her death? Is this a case of a pedo stealing Baby Grace into the night, etc.). I just don’t have enough information to really comment on the case, other than that Shipman looks quite similar to Baby Grace and I hope that whomever hurt her is brought to justice.

I would think so, even with the secrecy laws, as we did eventually hear leaked information about Cuddle Cat, etc.
I suppose the blanket we hear the abductor having (if there is one), could have been a shower curtain? Or there is both a blanket and a shower curtain or there is just the shower curtain…anyway. As someone said before, a missing shower curtain would have been noticed or replaced (I assume), so I suppose this would have to be done afterwards and as someone pointed out, the shower curtain leans towards Madeleine being dead, along with some odd wording about the DNA (but that may be the fault of the reporting solely). In any case, until we know more it still leaves the door open for all current suspects (including the possible abductor).
