Andrew - I hope you never have to ask anyone to help you and your loved ones because your home flooded or burned down in a forest fire, or because rebels bombed you home, stole everything you worked for and raped your sister, daughter, mother or wife in the process. Strange as it may well seem - you probably think Britain is the most desirable country in the world to live in - most immigrants would not stay if they were safe or could survive in their own. The levels of racism and intolerance make this a very unpleasant place at times - however there are a growing number of enlightened citizens who don’t hold views like yours which sadly make you a less than desirable person to share this wonderful planet with.

How many of us would allow people to just move in and occupy a bedroom or two in their houses without being invited or wanted? That’s right, nobody. Why let anyone occupy your land then? A house (country) only has so many rooms, kitchens, toilets, dustbins, heaters….
Being rational can not be classed as xenophobia or racism. It’s a mathematical, social economic probability excersise.

I don’t care about immigration - the only thing I find slightly hypocritical is that if immigrants were in the habit of voting Tory, or if Sharia Law looked like it might get voted in - left-wingers would be agreeing with Enoch Powell.

Also, it’s a pity for them that the Tories can’t get rid of their Xenophobia and racism. Most countries in the world are socially conservative and most immigrants are aspirational - they only vote Labour because the Tories are so stupid they can’t see the demographic advantages past the cultural differences.
