Baby Grace was identified a while ago as Riley Ann Sawyers. Riley was 2 years, 8 months old. Her mother was an unwed 16 year old when Riley was born. Kimberly Dawn Trenor then ran off with some guy she met on World of Warcraft, brushing away any thought of protecting her baby girl. Royce Zeigler, the bastard she hooked up with, was under the impression that the toddler must say ‘ma’am’ ’sir’ ‘please’ ‘thank you’ without being reminded, even though Riley was just learning to string together sentences. Riley’s mother, who adopted any of Zeigler’s notions as genious theories, was all for it. On 27th November 2007, Trenor and Zeigler slashed Riley with 2 leather belts. Riley cried. Apparently Zeigler thought he wasn’t getting his message through, so he then shoved her head under water in the bathtub. Riley was coughing water (2 year old’s are not very capable of holding their breath. In her panic, she probably gasped for air, began choking, with would cause her to inhale more water) and still crying. She did not say ‘I’m sorry’ for whatever petty disrespect provoked the torture but was sobbing and choking so she couldn’t speak. Zeigler then grabbed the toddler by her hair and flung her across the room. Her head then smashed into the linoleum tile on the floor. She had suffered severe head injury and was likely bleeding from her nose or having trouble breathing through the pain. Zeigler, feeling that maybe he went a step too far, does not call 911 or take her to the hospital or even comfort her. He instead gives her a bit of children’s pain medication, and proceeds to shove her head into sofa cushions and pillows, which was probably excruciatingly painful for Riley after her head injury that was slowly killing her. Then Zeigler sees that Riley is not breathing. He still doesn’t consult medical aid for the baby. He covers her with a purple towel and runs to WalMart with Trenor to buy bleach, disinfectant, garbage bags, a large blue Sterillite, latex gloves, metal chain, a padlock, and concrete mix among other things. They go home, clean up Riley’s blood as well as the rest of the crime scene. Still, they do not attempt to revive Riley. They pick up the little child and, disregarding her injuries and bruises, dump her into garbage bags which they put into the Sterillite container and lock it. They store Riley’s corpse in their shed for 2 months before dumping her into the water near the Galveston Causeway. They then forge a letter from the ODCS saying that Riley was removed from the house after suspicions of sexual molestation.

Julia, her body was decomposed, her eyes were gone, or almost gone, by then.
The woman who sent in the story seems hellbent on blaming the McCanns. The bodily fluids in the hire car were an inconclusive DNA match, meaning they could have come from the twins’ diapers. The FSS said all of the samples were so clumsily handled that none of them could even be identified as blood, much less Madeleine’s. As for the stuff in the car, it was 18 cells! It definately could have come from Cuddle Cat or pyjamas. I am not saying that the McCanns are innocent, just that there are several other possibilities. Oh yes, and since Kaye owns a similar cardigan, surely it means she bought 2 and wrapped her daughter’s body in one! The Baby Grace theory would just make more sense if Madeleine had wandered from the flat and been seized by some paedophile seeing an open opportunity and a pretty little blonde.

Maybe Baby Grace had certain parts removed before being put to sea thus making identification hard. If BG is Maddie, DNA may be hard to match if she is not the biological child of McCanns.
But, in this day and age and surely with the technology - the forensic people should know by now.

Actually she was dressed in Cherokee brand clothing, which in the US is sold exclusively at Target, but which is sold in England at another retail chain.

I disagree that hair grows after death. Look it up on the internet!!! It may appear to grow but in fact any change in length is due to degredation of the flesh to expose extra hair length that previously existed under the skin (the same goes for finger nails). Hair does get lighter after death though; this is due to oxidation of the melanin pigments.

And the clothes that Baby Grace were wearing were from Target…..I doubt Maddy was dressed in clothes from TARGET!

I have been raising my 3 year old grandson since he was an infant because his parents were too young at the time. Whether this was Little Maddy or Baby Grace, it sickens me to think anyone could do this to a child when their are other options in today’s world, adoption, fostering, relatives, anything. I strongly disagree with the Death Penalty (and I realize this was done in Texas so there may be some opposition to my position), but if the killers are found, this little angel’s tragic death would certainly give me pause on the issue. Not to agree, but to certainly think. Baby Grace is now lying in the arms of Jesus and at peace. I hope the human criminal system can give others who grieve for this child peace as well.

Hair, and finger & toe nails continue to grow after a body has died. Just because a heart isn’t beating doesn’t mean that things still don’t go on inside of a body. Organs shut down, gas is still expelling, blood actually decomposes and falls to the lowest point of the body. I took a forensics class in college. Depending on how long her hair was when she went missing. I’ve seen a few photos of her with longer hair, and I’m sure her captor didn’t bother to cut it. If she has been missing for six months, and she had longer hair, it’s possible that it could be her. They also didn’t have to kill her right away so who knows for sure. I hope that it isn’t her, but I’m so sad that another little angel has died. I really hate people that do this to children.

Well, I truly and dearly do not hope it was Maddy, but what about the bag of clothes they found at the Airport? Why a showercurtain between all the stuff.? I heard that if a peadofile does stuff with small children or anybody else, it easy to wash stuff like blood or anything else off a showercurtain very easily.CREEPY AND SICK !!

Why so many little children have to live to endure such tragic lives. To think someone physically gets off on being manipulative and overpowering. IT is heartbreaking to see this happen to such a small child. To think, all over the world children are enduring such tragic meaningless torture. IT is sickening. To think that small children can be kidnapped from their homes, places of play and used so terribly. I only pray that if this is Maddy or “Grace”, that the killer or killers have her beautiful little eyes staring at them every night and haunting them, for the rest of their lives. My fear from the German papers was that she was taken for child prostitution. And to think that this would have been the lesser of evils. Very Very Very saddened.

I find it unlikely that hair can continue to grow on a dead body. This is because the body would be dead, bereft of life, not of this mortal coil. It would be dead.

Apparently, from what I have heard previously hair continues to grow even after someone is dead…as for how long it can grow I am not sure, but it has been over six months for Madeleine…..so. Either way, I just am sick to my stomach with the thought of what kind of twisted world my child has to grow up in. SICK.SICK.SICK.
