Madeleine McCann And The Frightening Political Lobby
MADELEINE McCann: News from Portugal:
The lawyer from one of the persons that wants to change his testimony criticizes the lobby around the parents of Madeleine – story published today in “El Mundo”.
“My client must keep secret what he can do help the search for the truth and this is not due to the law secrecy in Portugal. That is is quite revealing of the strange circumstances around this case”, says the lawyer of one of the two McCann friends that were at Tapas Bar, on the night of May 3, and decided to have a close cooperation with Police, as “El Mundo” published, last Tuesday. “He is not afraid of the McCann but the economic and political lobby that exists, around that couple, frightens any person.” (…)

well i’m not sure about that.

I still think it is suspicious
The McCanns said emphaticaly, that they would not return to the UK without finding Madeleine
Yet immediately they were named as suspects by the Portugese Police, they left Portugal.
The McCanns are behaving very strangely.
I have not seen any signs of real distress from them
When they met the Pope (what a joke) it was like they were on a special vacation.
I know everyone is innocent until proven guilty, But !!!!

Re’ Malou question - “I will keep a master mason’s secrets inviolably when communicated to and received as such murder and treason exepted”?

This story of the bag, shower curtains and the clothes have not been published in Portugal.
Somebody made it up.
That is the problem. We don’t know what is true and what is not.
But I have contacts in Portugal.
The rumours are that some people of Tapas 7 could become official suspects.
Too many contradictions and inconsistensies in their statements.
This is bad.
What is their own interest to cover up this story, if they have nothing to do with it?

How silly of me, I forget thet Dr. McCann is not a Gentleman, so instead should have my servant beat him with my cane or riding crop. My humble apologies to the dear readers.

I issue the time honoured challenge to ~Dr.McCann
“I demand satisfaction”

Agree
Seems like no matter what happens, the McCanns are insistent upon safeguarding their property, jobs & reputation. All this would be the last thing on my mind if my daughter was missing. I think Maddy may have had an accident in the room & a quick decision was made to dispose of her body asap, with the group members all agreeing to stick to the same story. The benefits of this cover up would be to protect custody of the twins, their jobs, home & reputation. I mean if Maddy had died accidentally there was nothing to gain by telling the truth, but everything to gain by covering it up.
November 13th, 2007 at 12:29 am
the truth will come out eventually - I also think careers & custody are a lot to do with the cover up. I don’t think the McCanns deserve money from the public or others as if they’re found guilty there is no way they can pay it back

It is obvious that the “clothes” found on the airport road, were a “plant”–the entire thing is a cover up. I have thought of the theory that perhaps there were in fact, MORE children in the apartment, all playing together while the parents partied…and the children possibly killed Madeline…then in the face of going to prison, and losing custody, and careers, they all participated in a massive cover up…the only thing we do know, is that the child is dead. Neither DNA, nor DOGS have any ulterior motive, in doing what they do best, truth.
THEREFORE, the entire “sighting” here and there, is just more coverup…isn’t it interesting how doctors and others of such caliber think the rest of the world is stupid?

Evening all, having read so many different theories and garbage from the “gutter press,” I am still none the wiser as to what really happened to poor little Madeleine. The only
beliefs I have are:-
1. Madeleine is not alive
2. Her parents are definitely suspect but innocent until proven guilty
3. The Mccanns have such a high profile (which beggars belief if they ARE!!!!! guilty.)
yet it is all about them, not their missing daughter. They were smiling at everyone
when they met the Pope, not distraught Parents.
4. The Mcaans should keep out of it now and let Justice take it”s course.
5 The Press, notably, Express, Daily Mail, Sun, News of the World should also keep out of
and take a Course in Investigative Journalism.
6 I don”t think we will ever know what happened, or any charges made
.7 If the PJ had concrete evidence he would have made a move by now, the DNA tests
are obviously not sufficent to make a charge.
8. I am very disturbed at the amount of help the Mcanns are getting from people in high
places, this is a fact, not speculation. What on earth prompts such support?
9. For all the donations made by ordinary citizens, they deserve better, and I really hope
someone will have the courage to tell the truth.

Isn’t it wierd that k mcscam yelled “They’ve taken her”, makes you wonder who “They” are, like maybe k mccann knew. Wonder now, if Madeleine was heavily sedated, if it was ok that the door was left open for people to come and go as they pleased, then wouldn’t it be a surprise for one of them to have taken her. That’s what it sounds like. Sick. Sick. Sick.

Just a quick note…
I believe there is somebody within the Tapas 9 that is right-minded and utterly disturbed by this global farce around Madeleine’s mystery - the whole world perverted to dance to the tunes of we know who. I hope this person has the strenght to execute that difficult task - to tell the truth. About before (!), during and after the dinner.
It’s very worrying to read that the team mcCann are excercising a strict control if not threats over their co-witnesses. Blackmail and corruption connect in this case?

After months of watching and listening to all the so called sightings of Madeleine the reality is that she was probably killed within hours of her abduction.
The news about the clothing found recently in a bag is really bothering me.
The latest news that the DNA shows traces of Madeleine on that clothing, blue jeans and a fleece.
A shower curtain which the abductor probably used to wash away any traces of the little girl from his body, was it a lone paedophile that took her then disposed of her by burying her under the sand at the beach, then while travelling up to Faro airport discarded the bag thinking it would not be found or linked to the abduction. Then boarded a plane home.

It seems Gerry said he got support from his colleagues.
I don’t think they believe Gerry.
Nobody does.
November 12th, 2007 at 10:53 am
Dot (3), you could be right. Maybe the lawyer did not say that at all. But if did, it would show a great tension among people of Tapas 7.
This seems to have been published in El Mundo, a very serious news paper.
But there are British papers which I expected to be serious, wich published rubbish all the time, about this case.
How is Gerry doing at his work? Not a word about how great he was received by his colleagues, not a word about their great support.
November 12th, 2007 at 10:28 am
One of the things that has bothered me most about this whole saga is the way that the media have 100% supported the McCanns - to the extent that papers like the Guardian have paraded experts to say that what the McCanns did was perfectly acceptable. In any other case of this kind, there would be questions raised as to why 3 children under 4 were left in this situation - but the media, celebrities and ‘experts’ have seemingly fallen over themselves backwards to whitewash the McCanns. Now, why is that?
November 12th, 2007 at 1:02 am
This is so puzzling.Obviously someone in the Tapas7,or more than one, knows something we don’t.I can’t wait for the investigation to continue ,with hopefully more bounce and speed,in this track.
I don’t believe any of the “sightings”,it’s always coming from some McCanns supporters, the recent one being a fervent church-goer as well!
Well done so far to PJ,they are whom I believe.
November 12th, 2007 at 12:30 am
Don’t the McCann supporters get rather nasty and descredit everything that is remotely a step further to the possible truth about the evening Madeleine disappeared? Something tells me that a lot of people would rather the truth not be known and that another Ben Needham case would do just fine.

Time may tell just who is talking “Rubbish”
November 11th, 2007 at 9:29 pm
Another load of rubbish from the Portuguese. I wonder how much has been lost and gained in translation from day one. A lawyer would be very unlikely to make such a statement!!!!

A large lie will only consume you in the end, so it’s counter productive anyway.
Anyone with a conscience knows this without being reminded, or coerced in any way.
November 11th, 2007 at 7:45 pm
I hope this is true. This political lobby is frightening, it is going too far.
There is something mysterious in the power of the Mccanns.
This witness could better get off this story, tell the truth and at least save himself.
Why sacrifice in order to cover up a crime not committed by himself?
