Almost as bad: “Portuguese police may gag Madeleine McCann’s parents by keeping them suspects for the next 15 years.” So too Robert Murat. This one has along way to run

Page 9: “Tourist spotted Madeleine – I heard her yell: ‘I want my daddy’”
The Express hears news from Medugorje, Bosnia, the site of a Catholic shrine. As reported on Anorak, the man sees a girl who looks like Madeleine. He reports it to local police. Police shrug. He tells the McCanns’ private detective firm. They check the expense account. They respond
The “father of six”, from County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland, who asked not to be named, says: “From the minute I saw them, there seemed to be something odd going on. They both had a very swarthy complexion and the toddler with them was a blonde, fair child.” Dark, you say?
“She was wearing a little pink coat and was very agitated and sobbing. The instant I saw her my heart skipped a beat because it struck me that she looked like Madeleine McCann. I felt sure there was something wrong and started to move towards them. As they saw me coming, they started walking faster away from me. I was sure the child they had was not theirs. I got right up beside them, and was about to speak to the child when the man put his hand over her mouth and shoved her into the car. He was pushing her into the back seat and was yelling in a language I didn’t understand.”

For those readers unfamiliar with the contents of a “bedroom”, the Sun uses an arrow pointing towards a box-shaped presence and tells us: “Bed she was in before she went missing.” A second arrow points to a “Blanket”
Clarence Mitchell hears of the sighting in Bosnia. Says he:”We are not dismissing it. The witness was 99.9 per cent certain the child was not with her natural parents”
DAILY MAIL page 19: “First photo of Maddie flat as hunt switches to Bosnia”
“Its narrow beds have been stripped of their sheets so they can be analysed for evidence”
And in Bosnia, the “very swarthy” people are with Madeleine. Like the man in Belgian, perhaps…

Hernani Carvalho and Luis Maia have written Maddie 129. the Star says the book claims some of the Tapas Seven “had already given up searching for Madeleine and were in their own flats 90 minutes after the alarm was raised because ‘they already knew where she was’”
An American artist has been employed by the Star to make Madeleine’s hair from blonde to dark. (Non-experts can use a felt tip or boot polish)
DAILY TELEGRAPH front page: “MADELEINE DETECTIVES CHECK NEW SIGHTING AT BOSNIAN SHRINE”
Page 7: Says Clarence Mitchell: “But as with all these reports, the McCanns refuse to raise their hopes until it has been investigated fully”

I travel, and never once left my children alone when they were toddlers. It is unthinkable, no matter the circumstances. There is absolutely no reason to give the McCanns an iota of sympathy. I have never heard of such despicable people. The media may have portrayed their utter lack of parental love and concern as “normal” for Britons, but I doubt this is true. And surely they have done much to create an undeserved worldwide abhorrence of British child-rearing practices.

Before you get back on your hobby horse, here is pretty much what I have posted on innumerable occasions to people who try to justify the McCann’s alleged baby listening service. (McBaLS ™ ® © ):
“Whichever mealy mouthed way they attempt to dress this up, every time someone attempts to justify the McCann’s alleged decision to leave three children under the age of 4 alone on successive nights it just hacks of parents, and others who care for/about children, that the McCanns’, their supporters and apologist can conceive of any circumstances in which it might be acceptable to leave young children alone.”
You say:

If you think that leaving children unattended, despite the very real risks involved, makes someone part of a group you can then label “such despicable people”, then you clearly have no grasp of the real horrors that are visited on children. For many children, being left on their own would be a blessing in disguise. What the McCann’s did in leaving the children alone, allegedly, is clearly unacceptable and indeed ought to warrant investigation by the relevant authorities. However, if this was the only thing they had done, no abduction, no missing Madeleine, no public furore, I would be very surprised if any ‘official’ action were taken, in my opinion.
However, you are very specific in your demands? You want them pursued for neglect and it can’t happen soon enough for you can it? Why? What’s your agenda here?
I believe that Team McCann would welcome neglect charges because they probably believe they could win such a case. I don’t believe a child neglect case would concern itself with the body of evidence relating to the alleged abduction and the circumstances leading up to it. The case would probably be forced to focus on the McCann’s alleged baby listening service.
I believe the McCann’s could win such a case. In winning that case they would probably prove their version of the timeline and prove themselves innocent of child neglect to boot. And yet, you are so eager to press such a case. Why I wonder?
Could it be, to paraphrase your claims of me a few days ago:
I do appreciate your revealing yourself as pro-McCann. You are clearly one of the “guys” assigned to appear on sites dominated by anti-McCann sentiments. Your strategy is to appear sympathetic with these views, while looking for opportunities to insert the TEAM MCCANN current preferred strategy.

You’re a smart “fellow”, Hideki, but you have discredited yourself. You are nothing but a pro-McCann voice advocating the enforcement of child neglect laws to further the McCann’s strategy of discrediting the current investigation into much wider criminal charges.

The only think I read was that the picture was taken from the window of the bedroom that the abductor allegedly used (either to get in or out).

if you look at the picture in the mirror - there appears to be just one door - which opens outwards. But in the sun picture there is another door which opens inwards. So which door was the abductor hiding behind?

There’s something that’s disturbing me about those pictures. I can see a number (604 was it the McC appartment?) on a door. Usually as far as I’ve seen in hotels/appartments the appartmentnumber isn’t to be seen from inside the apartment.
Has anybody got a plan of these appartments or does anybody know from which point/direction the picture was taken?
Sorry but being from a non english speaking country I can’t express myself better. I hope you all understand what I mean.

I think the door observation made by some in this forum is very, very, very relevant.
If it is not possible that an abductor was hiding behind the door at 9.30 when gerry went to check, then the police can only conclude two things:
-either gerry did not go to the room
or if he did visit the room…
-but there is no abductor
which one is it going to be Mr Mitchell???

In case clarence mitchel hadn’t noticed there was a war in bosnia a few years ago. That meant that hundereds of thousands of people became refugees.
Now of course none of these hundreds of thousands of refugees living abroad would have ever gone to english speaking counties - or had children with an english speaking partner. And these children - when viviting their bosnian relatives - would never have spoken english would they?

Another OT question. The article said that the murder victim was a seamstress? Living in Dorset? Do seamstresses make a lot of money in the UK? Here in the states, even if you work for a top designer the pay isn’t very much. I have friends who live in Dorset and havee visited there twice. The whole area looked kind exclusive and expensive to me. Maybe her husband or ex made a lot of money?

I don’t even know what to think anymore..Did they? Is she alive? I’m so confused. There needs to be some sort of closure, as I have become addicted to this case and I should think outside of Madeleine Mccann.
I’ve had my doubts about the parents, but it also could be a real possibility that she was abducted and alive. We’ll see what happens w/ the Bosnia sighting. Also w/ the bag found by the airport. Has anybody found out if Baby grace could be Maddie?
BTW..I was being sarcastic..I do have a life outside of this case, but it is addictive..as i read into it every morning
