Madeleine McCann: Tea With Sympathy, Bosnia And ‘A Sinister Higher Force’
MADDY WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY EXPRESS page 7: “Little Bosnian girl they thought was Madeleine”
They? It was one man from Ireland, on a visit to a Catholic shrine in Bosnia, who saw Madeleine in a car crying for her daddy
A police spokesman says: “The car and occupants were just as described by the Irish pilgrim, except the little girl was not Madeleine McCann.”
But she was crying for her daddy. Not her mummy. Sure it’s not Madeleine?
Police go on: “The owner confirmed the car we lent to his son, who was with his daughter, who is very much like Madeleine”
Says Alan Dedic of his daughter Tea (blonde): “My daughter Tea was a bit out of control and I had to push her into the car… I wouldn’t dream I would create such a fuss”
“McCanns: New police snub” – The Portuguese public prosecutor will not let the McCanns see the files on them. Senior judges pay heed to the “special complexity” of this case. Robert Murat is not allowed to see his police files either
Says Clarence Mitchell: “All they have seen is so-called evidence that has been leaked to the Portuguese press and they don’t know what, if any, of that is true”
DAILY STAR front page: “MADDIE – TRAGIC NEW THEORY”
Come, come. Don’t worry about how it is received. Tragic or magic, let’s have it…
A solicitor, London-based and reportedly working for one of the McCanns’ “holiday pals”, tells El Mundo newspaper, Spain: “I’m afraid these interventions have been prejudicial not only to my client, but also for determining the truth”
The Star says Gerry McCann is a “key Government medical advisor”. The Star’s theory is that “a sinister higher force” has stopped the truth from coming out
“Alert was sparked by ‘hyper’ lookaliake” – “It’s “hyerpactive lookalike” Tea Dedic
THE SUN page 7: “Balkans girl is not Maddie”
Says Mr Dedic of Tea: “She is hyperactive and I had to push her into the car” – Do social services know?
DAILY MIRROR page 9: “Despair at Maddy file secret”
Kate McCann is in “despair”. She cannot see the police files on her. “It has dashed their hopes,” says Clarence Mitchell. And the little girl on Bosnia? Not Madeleine…
DAILY MAIL page 49: “Yet another little girl who turned out not to be Maddie”
How many more? Can there be any more?
Slavko Dedic, Tea’s father – not be confused with the Express’ Alan Dedic – says his daughter was throwing a tantrum. And that his daughter cannot speak English
And for finding Tea we have the Daily Mail to thank. Says a police source: “After being given the car registration plate by the Daily Mail, Bosnian police went within the hour to an address in Ljubuski – and found the VW Golf”
But not Madeleine…
DAILY TELEGRAPH page 17: “Girl in Bosnia is no Madeleine”
“Strikingly similar,” says the caption beneath a shot of Tea Dedic, who is blonde and aged four
THE INDEPEDNT, THE GUARDIAN and THE TIMES: “No Madeleine news today

Tony Bennett - Well done!

268 Well done indeed Tony!
They may indeed have done nothing in the faulty eyes of the law, but morally and in the eyes of real ‘loving parents’ (and not their false kind of empty word ‘love and adoration’) they have!
Even if this gets nowhere, Tony has my support!

Nothing yet. My MP is conservative and a woman so won’t be an out and out Broon supporter. However, I expect just a bland letter of acknowledgement. Will let you know if I hear anything. Anyone else heard anything?

Are there wolves in PDL? Perfect theory, but now I am suspicious of Inspector Gadget.
********************************************************
Yes. Yes there are wolves in PdL. The locals call them, ‘turista inglês’.
I read somewhere the name ‘McCann’ means wolf cub.

Thea –
Her age was initially thought to be up to 5 years, but has since been narrowed to 2 to 3. Her hair, which is blonde, is slightly wavy and roughly to the middle of her back.
As for the Madeline McCann discussions – we do not believe they are related, but we are working with Portuguese and British authorities to make DNA or other comparisons as necessary. The DNA samples are being processed but are not yet complete…in spite of what one might see on “CSI”, DNA takes at least two weeks to process.

I know that I will be attacked for saying it but, if (and it’s highly unlikely) the multi lingual Madeleine turned up, I would be very unhappy to see her returned to her parents. Just as I hate to see any neglected child or animal returned to an uncaring home. Their behaviour in PDL was disgraceful but not as disgraceful as their charade ever since. They are selfish beyond belief and are using their child to make themselves famous (though I’d rather say notorious) and rich. They honestly don’t deserve children. However, Madeleine is surely dead and not even being afforded the decency of a funeral and proper burial spot. And all the money and spin in the world can’t make the more sensible members of the public tolerate these scumbags, let alone like them.

sorry if this has already been mentioned:
Common Purpose and the Wider Agenda
Today’s Daily Star has a shocking revelation:
“And last night it was revealed surgeon Gerry is a key Government medical adviser.”
This is hardly news to readers of this site, as Gerry McCann’s advisory role for COMARE has been well documented.
What is a little surprising is how Mr McCann got to be appointed to a government committee advising on the effect of enviromental radiation.
If you look at Gerry’s Friends Reunited profile, he worked as a cardiology registrar in Leicester, and then went to work in Amsterdam: where he trained to specialise in MRI scanning. After returning from Amsterdam, he would appear to have been unemployed for a period before getting work in Leicester again. It would seem that his current period of employment in Leicester has been for slightly less than two years……….

247 - cool and calm - things are a bit more complicated than you believe.
you’re right in saying that british authorities are not competent to act upon a crime in portugal. (even though the victim was british and the possible criminals are also british nationals). This is because any possible crime of neglect was perpetrated in portugal and therefore it would be up to portuguese authorities to seek remedy or prosecution for that crime under portuguese law.
You’re however wrong in suggesting that law in portugal and the uk about neglect is particularly different. In fact it is not that different. I would like you to tell me under british law, how many parents who have had their children abducted and have later been charged with neglectful behaviour?
The role of the law = seek remedy or prosecution for crimes of neglect. That is different from the preventive role of the Social or Childcare Services.
Nobody questionned the role of the parents because they initially thought that this was an abduction. in those cases, it would be very unusual to bring negligence charges against the victims. the social services would naturally be informed (and would be required to take action), but they are not going to be criminally prosecuted.
Note also that in Portugal as in the UK, charges for neglectful behaviour would be easily dismissed by the McCanns (i can elaborate on that if you wish). However, in Portugal Penal Code there are some very interesting possibilities to charge the mcCanns for gross neglect of their children. Particularly if it is proved that their negligence has resulted in the death or serious injury of Madeleine McCann.
For the time being, that death or serious harm has not been established. Let’s wait and talk again if and when that important factor is established.
